« OK but the room needs some upgrading »

For a 2 bedroom apartment, the furniture in the unit really did not accommodate 4 people, with only a 3 seat lounge, and an outdoor table setting. For a APVC property, it was way down in quality.

Pleasant stay except kitchenette was not practical especially trying to use the microwave as the power point was not in reach and you had to move the microwave onto the sink. Great room and lounge area.

« Offended, we booked a 2 bedroom apartment paying 4300 points. »

Dreadful. We expect in a 2 bedroom apartment to have a dishwasher, laundry, furniture for more than just two people, a dining table and chairs for at least 4 people but we did not have any dining furniture until the 3rd day, after asking at the front counter twice and 2 phone calls, This is NOT good enaough. 4300 points, it felt like a cheap rough motel. We couldn't unpack our clothes as there was only a wardrobe with 6 hangers, no draws in ether bedroom. Bitterly disappointed. In the living space the only furniture was a pullout sofa, and a low coffee table. I belong to Accor owners group and nothing annoys me more than to go on there and read negative comments, so far I haven't attempted to write my views, as I have always been proud of the brand Accor. Please contact me and let me know how this has happened.

Good location, we found the kitchen in our apartment in a poor state, advised reception and a cleaning crew was sent quickly to fix the problem. The kitchen had built up grime and had not been cleaned thoroughly in a while. The APVC representative, Roy was attentive and advised us that we would receive a cheese platter and bottle of wine which we appreciated, though we had to ask for its delivery when it had been previously arranged and did not arrive which took the shine off the experience.

« Staff awesome. The Sebel needs big upgrade facilities 1.5 stars »

Staff were 10 out 10. Apart from that the place needs to be either knocked down so old inside room with ocean views so basic facilities. Mould in bathroom. Wifi slow as a snail. Only good at midnight. Family break & doing a course in Sydney. Booked through Scam system Accor Vacation Club where you can never go on holidays when you want waiting periods are hopeless.

« everyone was very welcoming and the accommodation was great »

The staff went out of their way to assist us. The rooms were well maintained in our short stay. We did not expect the extra service to our room. Bar and restaurant service were excellent and the view over the beach was amazing. Were disappointed that the spa was closed indefinitely when we wanted to use it.

Strongest point is location location location! very nice staff at front desk especially Quiong (?) while hotel room is well kept and presented - it is already tired from high traffic or use. Lower floor -- a bit noisy from the street - you can hear everything.

« We had a wonderful break. »

The Sebel Manly Beach Hotel was well positioned to everything we love, beach, walking tracks, restaurants, the ferry terminal and shops. The staff were friendly and we were very touched with the special message for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Our room had lovely views and was clean and fresh. The bed was very comfortable.

Good experience, staff pleasant and helpful, location is great. Only one issues was on Monday 4th June when the room was serviced we observed the following. Towels were replaced, tea/coffee etc was replaced however the bed was not made and the bathroom was not cleaned.
