Had a problem with the microwave oven which was somewhat defections or needed some overhauling.Some smoke when warming a cake had provoked a fire alert. Rather unpleasant feeling.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Courteous service, the room was comfortable and spotless. Although I did not have a full view of the beach I was able to have a partial view. Overall a pleasant stay.

Resort was close to everything - the beach, pools, transport to wherever. On site restaurant was reasonably priced and staff were friendly and the food good. Free basement parking was a blessing. Only reservation was lack of drawers for clothing.

Great location. Great staff who go out of their way to make our stay very satisfying. We always set out to make the most of our stay (we usually stay for five days) and try not to let any hiccups interfere with our thoroughly enjoying our holiday. An integral part of that is being right on the Manly Promenade and beach; being able to watch the activities from early morning; and to be able have immediate access to the beach/surf. We spend a lot of time walking the National Parks around Sydney Harbour and its hinterland. What disappointed us a little this last stay was that we had requested a room on Level 3 and were assured that that would be likely - no guarantees. When we arrived it was recognised that the request was initially responded to be there had been a change. We were given a room on Level 2 (Room 206) which had opaque railing so we could not have a view of the promenade and beach - it is the only room that has this problem. Being able sit on the balcony or in your room and watch the promenade and beach is an important part of the Sebel experience. The staff did suggest that we might be able to change rooms the following day, but we wanted to get unpacked and get on with our holiday. Yes! Disappointing, particularly when we had booked early and requested Level 3. The rooms are high quality and very comfortable. Only one aspect of them that seems a little strange - ther is no where you can upack your clothes. This probably only important if you are staying for 3 to 5 days.

Always great staying there but there were a couple of housekeeping issues tho. The shower didn't work well (jammed, but one of the guys on the desk fixed it) and one of the public toilets downstairs had no flush!
