This is our second time at Sebel Chatswood. We found the bed provided was quite uncomfortable, with the mattress protector being so lumpy that we had to roll around to find a more comfortable position to sleep in between the lumps. The mattress protectors need to go. Otherwise we had an enjoyable stay.

Rock hard pillows that let me with a massive headache The cafe option from room service was NOT available on night 1 NONE of the desserts on the menu were available on my second night - the manger had to scrape around for half of what I ordered On my last day, room service woke me up with a breakfast I NEVER ORDERED!! I was trying to build a business relationship with you by showing loyalty - this was my 4th visit so far and by far THE WORST. I am now looking at alternatives as a result of my experience as I travel at least twice a month on business.

very good, spa bubbles not working, staff little slow in answering the phone for room service ordered ice cream took 30 mins to arrive mix up with breakfast-stayed 3 nights, ist morning given wrong breakfast, I think person I was travelling with in the room next door got my breakfast and I got hers, second morning I did not receive breakfast and had to phone and order then it was late

The apartment accommodation made us feel at home. Staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a delay with the delivery of our breakfast but rapidly sorted out on contacting reception with no harm done.

I was unexpectedly upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment with great views and plenty of space. That was awesome. Youre very close to the chatswood transport hub and the supermarket, its very easy to self cater and makes travelling for a work a pleasure

Sebel Chatswood is a dated property that charges premium prices due to its location. Nevertheless, I expected very good service and for basics to work. We stayed a total of 6 nights in their premium 3-bedroom unit over Easter. On the first day, we’ve told facilities that the lick on the common bathroom is broken and were told it will be fixed the following day. No fix happened during our week’s stay. The internet wasn’t working the entire stay. We went to reception to complain a few times, given different codes that was supposed to work for the entire party, but didn’t. For oversea visitors, having wifi is a very important feature, and so this was a cause of major discontent. When we complained about this, the staff weren’t even apologetic nor even that helpful. There is a particular male staff who was surly the whole time and I never saw him smile. To top it this off, we were being chased for two hairdryers after our departure. We even brought our own hairdryer because we didn’t find any and left it at the property after departure. The first time they rang, we said we didn’t take them, then they called back to say they’ve been found. When a friend returned to pick up a left item, they chased her again for the dryer! We loved the property due to being spacious and convenient, but it us obviously poorly managed.

Convenient parking for checking in, and centrally located car park. Room size substantial enough for a family of 4, kitchen well equipped. Location great for access to train station, park, and shopping centre.

Booking was for two adults and 1 x eight year old. Sofa bed not made up. Apartment was very dated and quite dirty. Not hurrying back.

I stay in this hotel whenever and wherever I am working in Sydney. It is close to the train, shops , and only about 20 minutes from the city by train. The apartments are spacious and clean. We normally take a 2 bedroom flat that easily sleeps a family of 4. Lovely views of Sydney on the higher floors

The room was lovely, just a few little issues: We booked a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 adults/2 children. When we arrived, the sofa bed was not set up and no extra sheets or pillows. We had to ask someone to bring those up and had to set it up ourselves. When we opened the sofa bed, the bottom half was almost touching the floor. We had to put the dining chairs under the bottom half to have it straight. Luckily, it was our children sleeping on it so they are light enough not to notice it. There was also a huge sag in the middle which made them both roll to the middle of the bed. If 2 adults were to have to sleep in it I’d imagine they would be quite uncomfortable! There was also no bath plug in the room. We also had a room with an electrical fault. We couldn’t turn on the balcony light without it tripping the lights to the whole apartment. Something that was not explained to us when we arrived but was obviously something known to the staff as he knew exactly what I was talking about when I called to fix it. Some of the staff were fantastic (the tall man who delivered our sheets and pillows on the first night was great), and some others made us feel like a burden.
