« Convenient location and good value »

The apartments were about half the price of a CBD hotel room and were quite spacious. I stayed twice, once on the northern side and once on the southern side: the southern views towards the city were spectacular. The location is less than 200 metres walk from the railway station, affording fast and economical access to the CBD and airport by rail. The staff were efficient and cheerful and able to direct me to local eateries. The breakfast was delivered to the room but was a little plain; and there is no restaurant attached to the property. However overall it was quite impressive.

I stay in hotels over 100 days per year and this was the worst bed that i have laid on. What is worse i reported it several months ago and the manage saw that springs were poppy and transferred me to another room. Unfortunately this trip i got the same room, they covered the matteress which a lumpy cover which was like sleeping on tennis balls, i went down to advise the front desk but after no action for 3 days i went and asked if they could do something to remedy the problem, they finally placed another cover over the old mattress. Even the cleaner remembered my complaint from several month ago, its unfortunate that the management didn't do anything about it. After several years of staying at this hotel i will look for an alternate hotel for my next trip in February.

wonderful the only issue was the bathroom shower. i mean it isn't sealed properly so the water keeps seeping out during the shower and makes the floor all wet with water.

I stayed overnight with my 4 year old son to free up mum to complete her assignment . As a seasoned worldwide traveller I was extremely impressed with the comfort and service afforded by our stay. Will definitely stay again.

The two-bedroom apartment is spotless clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff is friendly. Car parking arrangement can be improved by emailing customers the instructions prior to arrival. WiFi shall be free at this stone age.

Overall it was a nice apartment. The only issue I had was that I had a gift card for $200, and the room was for $239. When I checked in, the clerk told me he had to charge $139 to my credit card as $100 would be used for security, which would be refunded to me when I checked out. He was very softly spoke and seemed a little unsure of what he was doing When I went to check out, another clerk was on duty, and tried to give me back $100 on the gift card and keep $139 on my credit card - she did not know why the first clerk charged me $139 on credit card. It was resolved, and I was given $100 cash back, but it was overall a little confusing.

Comfortable, easy, quiet, conveniently close to shops & restaurants, though am always disappointed that staying at Accor hotels (my experience thus far with Novotel & Sebel) means a parking fee. I guess I feel if I'm going to support/choose Accor, when I could book other 'just as good' accommodation for a cheaper price, then parking would be free of charge.

We had booked our AGM and had met and spoke with Elsie prior to the meeting on 22 November. On the day of our AGM, Elsie, unfortunately was sick. I announced myself at Reception and the reason I was at the hotel. The staff advised that I make my way to the meeting room, however, there wasn't anyone in the meeting room to greet me and set up our AV equipment. The room had been set up incorrectly and eventually when some one came to help us, they had difficulty in getting the AV equipment to work. Also, there was meant to be signage at Reception advising attendees of the location of our AGM, but this wasn't prepared and I had to ask staff to prepare this. I was very disappointed in the initial experience and to be left unattended to was very, very disappointing. See me below letter sent to Sebel Friday 16.11.2018 - Still no reply. I am disgusted, refund still not done and Aust Dept of Fair Trading will be notified tomorrow. 26.11.2018 Dear Casey I am at the point of absolutely appalled with the dealing of Sebel Chatswood and in fact am extremely offended by your topic line “deposit left at Sebel’. Lets get a few things clear. On corporate check in I was asked for a $100 deposit in which your staff withdrew from my debit card. I was informed that on exit it wold be give to me in cash. On day 2 I swapped from a corporate booking in rm 1105 to a accor member booking in 1101 I asked if I needed to book out and in because of the deposit and was told no they would organise it. On exit I was not given this money and was informed when I explained the what was sid to me that “I had been informed incorrectly and it would be returned to my account. I explained it was a debit card and was told that was fine it would be in my account within a couple of days” I asked if I had to sign anything or give my card for refund and was told no. SO THEREFORE I DID NOT LEAVE MY DEPOSIT – YOUR STAFF FAILED TO RETURN IT !! I have since had numerous emails and phone calls from Sebel telling me it was being returned as stated on exit. My ID was provided on checkin and credit card details also as I am a accor member – 30…6785 0 in which my booking for night 2 was made. On exit I was again charged parking from my card although Sebel has still failed to return my $100 deposit This is now becoming a criminal action of theft on behalf of Sebel Chatswood. I have sort legal advice and if moneys are not returned to my account by close of business today with official receipt from Sebel Chatswood I will be referring this to the police and to the dept of fair trading. I will also be referring my treatment to our corporate travel adviser to have you removed from our trusted motel choice list. Sebel Chatswood has done nothing but embarrass yourself with unprofessional practice. Find my credit card detail attached for REFUND only. I anticipate documentation and refund by 5pm. Lee P. Our stay was ok. We were a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The fold out couch mattress had stains on it and was very uncomfortable. The blankets, carpet and couch all smelt “dirty and musty” and needed a good steam clean.
