« Problematic Porta Cots Yet Again »

As usual everything was fine apart from the porta cot issues we seem to always get. This visit no porta cot was set up on arrival. We then had a porta cot that was torn and bent that when touched swayed delivered and set up, we complained right away as it was simply suitable for the bin not a small child to sleep in. The second porta cot arrived and yet again would not go up the longer sides would not lock into place. After we returned from dinner late in the evening both porta cots remained in our room not suitable to sleep in and then another member of staff tried for nearly 30 minutes to get the cot together. Finally it was up at nearly 23:30 by this time our foster baby was well past sleeping and crying for hours before settling. These porta cots that are broken have been doing the rounds now for months on end and not been replaced. We rely on porta cots being provided we are foster carers and will always have small children with us needing them. As we visit at least every 3 months for 8 nights or so it would be good to see that we can rely on a service that you provide without having to worry. We also think that the $10 a night for a porta cot charge is over the top especially when the quality of what you are providing is simply not good enough. We love the Sebel the staff are great and we especially love that we most of the time get a 05/06 room which we love. Get the porta cot situation sorted and we will be 100% happy each visit.

« As always and why Sebel Chatswood is my first choice I feel like I have a home away from home . »

My work brings me to Sydney often and takes me away from my family . When I arrive at Sebel Chatswood I am welcomed warmly and treated with care and respect and feel like I’m coming to a second home base. I can work efficiently and in comfort and am close to all CBD meetings.

Staff friendly and accommodating. Upgraded to a three bedroom, which was nice but unnecessary. Time spent doing this could’ve been spent informing us of the breakfast requirements. Was not told about and we assumed there was a restaurant. I called in morning to enquirer about and was then to,d that I was to order toast, cereal and juice the night before. I was not impressed at all.

« Customer service was very poor »

The staff was polite, yet very inefficient. We stayed there for 6 weeks and everything we requested to be addressed, took at least a follow up or two to get done. The communication between members of the staff was very poor so as soon as they changed shifts we would have to start all over again... some of the issues in our suite never got resolved - we gave up! One of them being a leaking sink in the master bedroom. It was overall hard work to get anything addressed, from the day we checked in to the day we checked out, including these 2 processes.

« Great experience! Perfect location with welcoming, friendly & efficient staff »

Very comfortable, conveniently located and the apartment was self contained in everyway. The Hotel street access is good and security for entry & exit was easy to use. Car parking provided was well marked and of a good size. Friendly and efficient staff. Communication regarding the booking was of a very high standard. We chose this area to avoid the congestion of Sydney CBD. The train station was less than a 5 minute walk with a supermarket on the way. Access to the Sydney City CBD was easy and stress free via the train. We also attended a concert at the facility nearby. It was also within a five minute walk from the Hotel. The Hotel is also surrounded by one of the best shopping precincts you could possibly want. All of the majors along with many smaller independents offering the best of every merchandise imaginable. Last but not least, the number of restaurants in this area provide every cuisine imaginable and all of the meals we had were of a very high standard. We will definitely stay here again and gladly use public transport for our city visits. Thank you The Sebel Sydney Chatswood.

After a stressful afternoon of medical tests at Westmead, the feeling of relief was indescribable walking into Room 1302 at the Sebel Chatswood. Such beautiful comforting and clean rooms, delightful beds with superior linen and pillows! Fully functional kitchen, laundry, 2 bathrooms with the best showers! And the gorgeous city views were an unexpected bonus. It was everything I asked for when I made the booking and more. No, it’s not super, ultra modern (as some have commented) but if what you require is a homely, clean, warm and relaxed atmosphere after a stressful day, you can’t go wrong here. Thank you so much and we will most definitely be back!

We stay at the sebel chatswood often - to see our son at boarding school. The rooms are a good size and the washer dryer is great as our son always has clothes that need attending to. Very easy for us to check in and check out - parking is good too.
