Whilst we stayed in the premier room the king bed was uncomfortable and only one tv. Standard room is better

Hey, I'm still waiting on an email advising a refund on our room. I paid $527 for a nights stay in your 3 bedroom apartment. Paid the extra for 4 x full buffet breakfasts only to be told when asking when heading to this buffet where we go for this, that there is no restaurant within the hotel and we should've been given a selection sheet to choose our "continental" breakfast the night before on checkin?? Really? False advertising at it's best.... We had NO air conditioning working in the main bedroom. It was 30 degrees the day we arrived so you can imagine how hot the room was. There was a portable unit that required us to fill up the water as it blew warm air if this wasn't replaced. What a joke? Really unhappy with our stay and the price we paid. Hoping that I receive an email soon as I was advised I would, with a refund amount. Thanks, Kellie

Ok. Sadly only ok. The apartment was tired. Photos of the apartment showed a TV in the master but there was no TV in the master when we arrived. Requested it and after explaining myself they put one in. It broke and they replaced it after 3 nights chasing. Keys didn’t work, bed uncomfortable...

« When we arrived at hotel booking had been given to someone else so we had to find a different hotel »

Terrible I rang the hotel to book a wheelchair accessible room with accessible bathroom and arranged the appropriate room. I later received confirmation by email that the booking was made. we arrived at the hotel at 6pm, after a leaving home at 5am with a full day at a sporting competition to find that the room had been given to another person - Quite unacceptable. Apparently there was only one accessible room in the entire hotel and the staff felt it was OK to give it to someone else, regardless of our booking. They showed me 5-6 other rooms, all of which were completely inappropriate. After an hour and a half, at my insistence, they located a room in a nearby hotel which was acceptable.

Attitude and service of front desk is good. I was there for 2 nights starting 9th April room 2005. 2005 was very warm. Maintenance came and said I need to close curtains because of afternoon West exposure but I could feel there was no air coming out of the vents. And it was not possible to change rooms because of full house. On 10th morning the maintenance guys inspected again and said there were 3 fan motors not working that would need to be replaced and they didn't have any spares with them so we moved to 2506 which was much cooler. Service was always polite but I was annoyed that for my 2 night stay we had to spend 50% of our stay in a hot flat where the motors were obviously not working..

Initially, the room the was given to us smelled horribly (the entire floor actually). They moved us to a new room on a new floor immediately which was good. Overall, I was not impressed with the staff at the front desk with the exception of the managers.

Good experience, I have stayed here a number of times as it's very handy to our Sydney office. However the rooms are getting pretty tired, in particular the bathrooms. Some of the fittings are starting to rust etc.

This is the best kept "secret" in Sydney - most tourists stay in the city, not realising that Chatswood is only about 20 minutes away by train. The hotel is next to the station, comfortable and the staff excellent.

« Once again, I was made to feel like a special guest returning home. »

I was welcomed back, all was prepared for me and my check-in and check-out time was efficient. Kind and respectful staff with smiles. The Sebel Chatswood is in the perfect location. The only complaint is that the hotel is looking tired and needs some refurbishment to stay in competition with the many other hotels close by. In spite of some tired hotel fitting/furniture I had all I needed to make my business and family stay meet all of mt expectations.

Suite was comfortable and staff was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately our bed was broken (the right side completely collapsed) and we only noticed this when we went to bed the first night... I think you should change the bed in room 1409. This time again I was assigned a room right next to the elevator, while I had specified in my preferences that I wanted a room far from the elevator. It wasn't so bad because the suite was big and quiet anyway but would be nice to have preferences followed next time. Breakfast is very simple, could be a bit better with fresh pastries and coffee (instant coffee isn't so nice). Otherwise the suite was clean and the bathroom was nice. I would stay there again.
