Check in & out was quick & efficient. Room was well equipped & very comfortable. Westfield shopping centre just across the hotel & heaps of eating places within walking distance. Good place to relax or have family get togathers. Had a lovely & pleasant surprise for Mothers Day - received a beautiful card & chocolate brownies. We have stayed here a few times & have always loved it.

The facilities and room were great. Close to transport and shops. Customer service could be better however. I did online check-in before i arrived stating that the key would be available. However as my partner arrived at the hotel before me they would not let him check in even though i already had stated he would be picking up the key. Why have online check-in when it does not work. Will never use this facility again. They should not even offer this.

Accor Plus member, so had nice welcome pack - but please, the pretzels were stale (again). Otherwise a great location and nice large apartments. Lots of eating places nearby and only minutes from the station. Ron. Magenta Shores.

Excellent hotel, very clean, modern, with very nice staff. Very close to Chatswood train station, and Westfield shopping centre just across the street. Car park very convenient, pool and jaccuzi very good.

Great location right next the train station and Westfield. The apartment was very spacious and fully self contained. Good value for money. Would most likely stay again when travelling with family to Sydney.

« Nice home away from home »

It's really nice to have a bit of extra room when you are overseas for a while - and the Sebel gives you that with their one bedroom apartments. The bed is comfortable, and the layout is great - an ensuite bathroom/toilet, separate laundry, and a lounge with a kitchen nook. The location is great for transport - right next to the train station, and with a Woolworths right there you can buy all you need for your stay. I just had a few niggles while I was here - and I've stayed here for around five weeks now, Monday - Friday. Firstly - they don't update your Accor status well. I got upgraded to Gold two weeks ago but they still had me down as Silver. Hopefully next week it will sink in. Secondly the internet access. They have wired internet on only some of their floors, for the others they supply you with a wireless router. As an Accor member, internet is included. I'd had issues with the internet the first time they gave me a wireless router (it ran out of Gbs when I'd used it for about an hour) and I had various other problems with it so I requested them to put a note in my file to always have wired internet. Yesterday I check in again, and the room had a wired port, so I assumed wired internet was available. But no. This was not mentioned on my check in and they only supplied me with a router when I contacted them - even though as a Silver/Gold member internet access is included. And of course, if you have wired internet, this means your phone or other mobile devices cannot use the internet . This hotel really does need to sort their internet access out - practically every other hotel I've been in provides wireless as standard, and up to either 3 or 5 devices.. The only other thing I'd mention is that the furniture is functional, but not comfortable. At home I'd have a nice easychair I could sink into to read books or watch movies. Here I find if I sit too long on their couch or lounge chairs my posterior goes numb. It shouldn't be that hard to put comfortable chairs in an apartment that is designed for reasonable length stays. If they had really comfortable furniture I'd be far more inclined to stay here, whereas I'm really mainly staying here because of the location convenience to where I'm based. On the plus side, the rooms are well heated (great in winter), they all had a balcony which I would use if I was here in spring/summer, well fitted out kitchen, and the shower pressure was awesome. I have a lot of hair so it's great.

« Perfect location »

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment the night before our wedding- it was so perfect and quiet and had everything that we needed including Westfield a cross the road for last minute things and restaurants and cafes on the doorstep. It was big enough to host our wedding preparation party of girls the following morning and even perfect for photos and for the flower girls with two TV's, a stereo and stunning views! Absolutely delightful

« Comfortable, fit-for-purpose family stay »

Booked a 1 bedroom hotel with Accor for stay from 11th to 13th December. The rooms were clean and our family comprising of a 6 y.o. and a 15 m.o. toddler were happily satisfied with the space. It was close to a community playground and many good eateries. Staff were friendly and were willing to help (we had a problem operating the washing machine and they came to our room at night to problem solve the issue).

I have stayed here a few times over the last 2 years and the service is still average like a 2 - 3 star hotel. I don't believe its the staffs fault but management not training. On the bright side the heated pool has been available for the past 12 months even though it still doesn't state this on the website. I find this funny as when they didn't have a pool for over a year it stated they did have one. Check in was late again and I didn't receive an Accor members upgrade. The hotel is central to everything with the train station just a 2 minute walk. The room was clean and beds comfortable.

Lovely 2 bd room unit situated right in heart of Chatswood. Easy walk to shops and cafes. Pleasant staff. Breakfast option is only delivered to your room but there are plenty of cafes nearby. Car parking is not clear. You have to drive around the car park looking for green parking spots allocated to the hotel. They are spread around the parking lot. We weren't told this at check in. We were told on booking that we would have wifi. Our unit was on the 9th floor and when I went back down to check I was told that the 9th floor doesn't have wifi. If you want wifi, check when you book in. Overall very nice stay.

This apartment are close to public transport, shopping and restaurants. The staff are fantastic, helping in any way they can. The apartments are cleaned daily with fresh towels (if you need them) and all the other little things like dishwasher powder, instant coffee, shampoo etc. They come with 2 TVs in the 2 BR apartments. It's a quite location with comfortable beds.

stayed here in a 2 bedroom apart. Older building but rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, even got upgraded(THANK YOU) and this hotel is in a great spot. You can walk to restaurants and is directly across the road from Westfield shopping centre. I will stay again!!!

My family and I have been staying at the Sebel Residence, Chatswood, every year for at least a month for the past 15 years. The apartments are well appointed, with comfortable beds and furniture, the location is fantastic, close to shops and Chatswood station, and all the staff are wonderful - friendly, professional and nothing is ever too much trouble.

« what a pleasant stay!! »

Super friendly staffs were efficient, helpful and smooth check in and out nice and clean. Sebel Chatswood is conveniently located near Chatswood Westfield and easy access to CBD by train that we did not have to use our car at all and onsite parking was also reasonable.

« Great stay too short »

Stayed for one night on the weekend. Great position, right opposite Westfield shopping centre and near Mandarin Centre for good asian food. Although Chatswood is brimming with good eateries. The apartment was spacious, clean and bed very comfortable. Although near the railway station noise was not a problem. Overall great stay. Staff were efficient and courteous.

Stayed for a wedding & medical appointments. The hotel was in a great location, directly opposite Westfield Shopping Centre and the staff were great, organising an early check in at late notice so we could prepare for the wedding. The breakfast was disappointing, cereal & toast delivered to the room rather than a buffet, parking was expensive - $35 per day - ouch!! I would recommend this - the beds were sooooooooo comfy - I have never slept so well!!

« Second stay - even better than the first »

A great property. This is our second stay and now I am looking to book again for early next year. We stayed in a 2BR apartment on Level 27 - it was very spacious, great design, extremely well-equipped kitchen and fabulous views. Our only negative comment is in relation to the carpet - it was overdue for either a good shampoo or replacement, as it was quite stained. Breakfast was included in our rate (Juice, Muesli, Yoghurt, Grain bread, all of which was very nice), however it was supplied to the room. We always enjoy eating out when we are away so we can have a cappuccino. Apparently in the past the hotel used to offer guests the opportunity to have breakfast at a nearby cafe which sounds nice - maybe they could re-instate this system?

« Ignored as silver member »

We always stay in Chatswood when we visit Sydney. Sometimes at the Sebel sometimes the Mantra. The Sebel is more convenient to shops, but it is not a member of Accor. As we are now silver members we chose the Sebel to get free wi fi and welcome drinks. Unfortunately this was not offered. The hotel as also adopted a policy of debiting the credit card for $100.00 and refunding 3 working days after check out. This is despite the fact we had already paid in advance and they knew our credit card details in case we skipped away without paying for any extras.
