We loved the bar and the restaurant. Our villa was immaculate and very comfortable. My husband loves to swim and it wasn't far for him to walk. It was very enjoyable.

We had a lovely relaxed few days and the staff were very helpful. However we found the room a little tired and there was an unpleasant odor in the bathroom.

Very pleasant stay, unfortunately couldn’t sample Barrettts Restaurant, seems to be closed each time we stay, service in bar for our dinner was average, waitress appeared disinterested, I ordered the beetroot salad with toasted walnuts and feta and didn’t get either , asked about them to be told they had none.

Very friendly staff and the resort had great amenities . The golf course is in pretty good condition . It was disappointing to not have the restaurant open and to gear it opens 3 nights only in a week. My bar dinner was average and I would organise to eat elsewhere next time.

I arrived and was told my room would be ready in 5 mins. 50 mins later and still waiting I was told they needed to air my room. Arrived in room and a terrible smell there had to leave door wide open. Curtain torn and badly worn. Dinner that night in the restaurant I had the pumpkin gnocchi and it was inedible. Beans were fine. Had to leave main meal. It was a special birthday celebration so I asked waiter to take a photo for me and he abruptly said he was too busy walked away and never came back. Had to get up to ask someone else for some water. Will not be going back ever. Very disappointing.

I love Pullman resorts. We stayed for our honeymoon at the Pullman in Port Douglas which was amazing. The Pullman at Magenta Shores was equally amazing. The room was clean and well kept, the regular cleaning was unexpected but allowed us to stay in a freshly turned room each day. After all who wants to make a bed while they are on holidays? Not me. Thank you to your staff. Kate at the front desk was helpful and patient. Don't let Kate go. Her greeting was genuine and her smile reflected the atmosphere your company clearly values. I'm not sure of the name of the young man who greeted us each morning at breakfast but he too was very pleasant and patient. Our stay coincided with our 4 year anniversary (late) and the Pullman sent a nice plate of biscuits and cakes to our room. Thank you! The lagoon pool and poolside bar is unique for the area and I often thought I could have been in tropical Queensland and not the Entrance. Thank you again for making my wife and I feel welcome.

« In our 3 bedroom villa ,2 out of 3 Beds had to be repaired, only 1 was able to be repaired . Therefore far from comfortable my husband and son and son inlaws woke up with back aches. »

We understand it was a very busy time, being the Australia Day long weekend . But we waited over and hour for breakfast. Morgasboard was not available , therefore the kitchen couldn't handle the overload in allacart menus. In our villa the largest Stainless steel pot had the capasity of boiling 4 boiled eggs. We had to ask for a pot from the resaurant, which had no handles to grip it. The villa was for 6 therefore should accommodated for it. The television in the living area was the size to accomodate perhaps a bedroom. My family were looking foreard to watching a Sports game therefore was also disapointing.. Very poor villa ... But, The Staff throughtout the Resort /Reception and the restaurant were amazing. Thank you

« I’ve stayed in other resorts for less money,that had more utensils »

You wanted a response,I’m up front,I thought for $620 a night,we would have had bbq,we had a Webber that hadn’t been cleaned in years,the kitchen is set up for a couple,not a family.There was a small pot,minimal knifes for cutting,a toaster with only facilities for 2 toast.I also thought a more comfortable lounge would have been nice,and for family not big enough,sorry I’m being honest.I was also disappointed that the bar closed by the pool at 3pm,the hottest part of the day.You needed to be very strong to open sliding door,in apartment.

Overall our 2 night stay was good, but would not be racing back to spend that sort of money again compared to other hotels in the Accor umbrella. Breakfast was your let down with not enough staff to take your order or clean plates from the table. It was hard just to order a coffee with our meal.
