« Enjoyable but a little disappointing re the comfort of the accommodation. »

I expected better facilities within the room which did not reflect the cost. It was extremely basic and lacked any feeling of comfort in any way. The continental breakfast was delicious, staff helpful and the golf excellent which was the real reason for the stay. But was disappointed with the actual accommodation.

This was a 5 day relax for us. The rooms are big and very comfortable. The property is lovely. The restaurant and the bar is great. The staff make this resort, they are fabulous and friendly. Bec and Mel made our stay refreshing.

The rooms are very spacious and well appointed, although the TV in my bedroom was not working. The food was nothing special, especially the lunch buffet we were served.

How can a 5 star hotel not have a working restaurant on a Wednesday? We planned a romantic dinner for the evening we were there only to find out that the restaurant was closed. We were not told by reception at the time that room service was still available or that there was a (very) limited selection at the bar. Consequently we had to drive back to The Entrance to arrange dinner - very very disappointing

It is in fact true that our signature restaurant Barrett's is closed for dinner service Mon-Wed nights and my apologies that this was not clearly communicated to you prior to your arrival or upon check-in. Guest planning to stay with us and perhaps reading this review should understand that while Barrett's Restaurant does close between Mon-Wed, the resort does offer a more casual dining experience in our Shallows Bar 7 days a week between 11am an 10pm. While we understand this option may not be suited for all guests celebrating a special occasion, we do our very best to communicate this to our guests prior to arrival so alternative arrangements can be made. Please again accept my sincire apologies that this was not the case for you. Please know your feedback is very important to us and we take it into great consideration. We apologise that this experience was dissapointing and hope that you would consider joining us again in the future. A really relaxed environment, views of the golf course and lake added to the serenity. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. The villa we stayed in was outstanding from the remote garage to the spacious kitchen/living/dining area.

Being on crutches the weekend was a challenge, but the staff at Magenta Shores, especially Adam from reception, made it so much of an easier experience. The kindness and thoughtfulness I experienced amazed me. Being picked up and driven around in the buggies meant I wasn't just confined to the main building or my villa and could be a part of the conference I was attending. I'm so thankful for that. It was a little inconvenient that the phone in room 1602 wasn't working and I had to call reception via my mobile each time I needed a ride though. Also the cold tap in the main bathroom was broken so the shower dripped and it was a little tricky to use. Overall though, I was very impressed with my time there and would love to come back at some point when I'm not on crutches to really experiecne the resort and surrounds.

Had ONE precious night off for our Anniversary and quickly decided at last minute to call Magenta for an overnight stay. Greeted on phone by "Michelle". Absolutely professional and FRIENDLY and HELPFUL !!!! What a bonus !!!! We booked Barretts restaurant for our anniversary dinner (Feb 23 Saturday night). Absolutely divine service and delicious dinner !!! We loved it!!!! This is why we come back again and again and again...........Thank you ps breakfast was good too!!!!

Golf course was very good, the Beverage was over priced and the white wine was not chilled when purchased by the glass, the food did not match the price and menu of the Resturaunt. Suggestion that Pullman wll never do, put 2 x TV`s in a corner of the bar and put the football on one and Sky racing on the other[call it sportmans corner] and the people after Golf will gather around and stay for longer. all the best
