One of the queen beds had hairs on the mattress sheet. The walls by the toilet had hairs on the walls. When I went to take a shower, I had to pull out a huge pile of hair from the drain. I took a picture of it and showed it to the management and I rec'd no follow up to rectify. Upon checking in at 1am, the desk clerk was rude and sarcastic to my colleague.

I am extremely sorry for the poor condition, this is not the standard that we are wanting to deliver here at the Pullman and Mercure Albert Park. I have followed up with the hotels housekeeping team who have taken corrective action with the two team members responsible for the cleaning of the room prior to your arrival. I am confident they will learn from this experience and avoid making similar mistakes in the future. I am also sorry to read that you found the checkout agent to be sarcastic, I can assure you that this would not have been their intention, I will however share you feedback with them so they can understand how they can be perceived which should be a good lesson for them. If you do choose to stay with us again in the future I would love to offer you a complimentary upgrade and access to our executive lounge to apologize for the issues. I am not a fussy person but find it disappointing to be told when checking in that I have been "UPGRADED" to a "Family Room" and find that the family room is beaten up and dreary. It did not appeal to me in any way. The bathroom requires a number of maintenance improvements. I understand the room is larger than all other rooms but this did not make me feel "upgraded" in any way. Please in future just tell me there are no executive suits on the "privelidged floors" as your lift says when the doors open on levels 3 and 4, and just tell me you have nothing else but a family room available.

Staff were helpful upon check-in. The bathroom design was a bit of a different design to what I thought. The shower screen/door was a bit of slip hazard with the water splashing out on the tiles. The tap for the basin was too short and you couldn't wash your hands properly without splashing the water out to the back of the sink. The toilet roll holder wasn't secured so the toilet roll kept falling onto the floor. Besides those minor issues, the room was lovely and the location of the hotel was good.

Check in was quick and staff were lovely. Upgraded to a family suite which was lovely big room. The room was impressive. and everything needed was there. Had breakfast delivered and it was on time and very enjoyable. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent. At checkout the concierge computer was being difficult and staff handled it beautifully allowing me to get to my conference without having to wait for the computer. I left my phone charger in my room and the concierge quickly had someone get it for me. Really helpful staff who are a credit to the hotel. Wish I could have stayed longer!

I had a great stay at the Pullman, the staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and very comfortable. I was there attending a conference, so the hotel was quite full and busy and yet, each and everytime I ordered room service it was delivered by friendly staff in a very impressive timely manner.

Always a good experience. Hats off again to Cathy in the Exec Lounge - she always provides outstanding service! My room - booked a Superior King Lake View - got an upgraded room (9404) but no lake view....in fact no view. Also the power points at the work desk are non existent - definitely need to deal with that - had to bend down behind the refreshment cabinet to plug in my laptop and the coffee machine???

In general the stay was fine, the room was clean and tidy, I did expect a little more especially out of the bathroom as it is a 5 star hotel but it was more than fine. The breakfast was good, although I did not enjoy the coffee from the shop it was almost not drinkable and I am not someone who is fussy about coffee. Room service steak was nice, I did order medium rare and it came medium but it was still tasty. Where I have a gripe and this very much ruined my stay was being woken in the morning. I was woken up at 6am by a constant beeping noise, I thought it was construction outside but later realised that it was a radio alarm clock going off from the next door room which was empty. This is very poor, these sort of things need to be checked by house cleaning. I had a late meeting as was looking forward to this and was completely spoilt by something so small.
