I was really impressed by how friendly staff was. The room is comfortable and clean. The view of Albert Park and the city is great -- so much better than the view from the rooms in the other side of the hotel. Room service was quick and efficient. The only (minor) issue is that the gym is too small.

Before we arrived I did an on-line check in which told me that our room would be available on arrival - it wasn't and we had to wait for two hours. In the end I had to try to hurry up the process because my wife had an appointment and we needed to get changed. It turned out ok but: Why have an on-line check in if the room isn't going to be available anyway.

check-in process and the whole area is a total mess where it takes ages just to reach the counter. ropes are needed and barriers to organise guests better, at the moment no one knows where to queue. as much as i appreciate a quick chat when checking in, long conversations with guests do not help those waiting still to check in as much as guests not having correct documents hogging the counter trying to find their documents, it may seem rude but asking them to have a seat and organise themselves may be a better option for everyone. more staff are needed at check in/out times to man the desks to expedite this process because its one of those things that i certainly do not enjoy. having booked for 3 guests and to go to the room and find that it is only set up for 2 meaning 2 toothbrushes, slippers, robes, bath amenities etc just tells me no effort has been put into this at all regardless of weather people have hotel loyalty membership or not and believe me it is not the first time i have come across this and if i am staying with friends and in this instance i did and they paid for their share it is a bit embarrassing because it looks like i have taken their money but they are getting less but paying the same share. lastly pillows, i have no idea who's decision it was to only provide memory foam pillows as they are impossible to sleep with and one only at that. they are hard , uncomfortable and should only be used if sitting up in bed and not for sleeping. i am honestly not saying all this to make you look bad, i spend about on average 25-35 nights a year in hotels and have tried them on both end of the scales but no matter what the category basic things should be there. please take these words into consideration not as criticism but a chance to get some real feedback. i thank you for your email and time

Pullman Hotel is known for it's 5-star status and that's why I've chosen this hotel. I think the prize is reasonable considering the quality of my stay in Pullman. Location is also good for holiday as it is close enough to city as well as beaches.

I had meetings in Prahan so a great location. Normally stay in Melbourne city at another Accor, the Sebel in Docklands, but the Pullman was a great choice for this trip. Comfortable room, great staff, right location for the visit, and great place to walk at the end of the day before heading to sleep.

Friendly staff and very well maintained rooms & facilities. My only recommendation would be around clarity of the offer (online). I booked room with breakfast, however the breakfast only applied to in the dining room and not room service. Nowhere in the booking tool (online) or in the T&Cs did it refer to this. This confusion could easily be rectified if properly communicated within the offers

Loved the room and the view. In the room, particularly appreciated the power sockets on each end of the bed headboard - we both want our phones close and charging. Shower was ok on the small head, but a disappointing trickle on the rain shower head - my husband was gutted as he loves them, but not enough water flow to use. Food and service excellent, apart from room service not bringing any spoons for us to eat our desserts, and housekeeping changed out a rubbish bin bag and left the old bag with rubbish sitting on the bench under the tv, and our 2nd card we leave in the light slot (nothing turned on but door heavy so easier to hit a light switch than insert a card) she took it, very annoying to have to go down and get another one. Disappointed the pool was unavailable for our stay. All front of house staff excellent.
