« Spacious room with a gorgeous view. »

The room was considerably larger than i expected and the view over the Botanical Gardens was magic. Unfortunately, the Internet experience was some of the worst i have experienced in a hotel. As a business traveller who relies heavily on good quality Internet service, i was very disappointed.

We enjoyed it very much. The lifts were out of order for a few hours on Friday Oct 19th in the evening. When using the stairwell between Floors 20 and 21 we found that one door (20) was unlocked but the other (21) was locked. Your protocol for loss of elevator function was unclear.

The front office staff were marvelous and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Sadly they were hugely let down by housekeeping where the staff seemed to do everything they could to avoid servicing our room on a daily basis. On the days when our room had not been serviced the excuses ranged from: all the housekeeping staff have gone home (at 2pm) and, we had the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door - which we definitely did not. Apparently the housekeeping is under contract at this hotel so I would definitely recommend a 'shake-up.

« A beautiful location, a quite and green spot in a busy city. »

Our reception experience was courteous and efficient, with check in early allowed. A lovely high room allocated with views to the river. A few negatives were noted by sister. Her finger went through the bath towel as they were very thin. There was some mould in areas of the shower & the waitress at breakfast was 'sniffing' regularly while serving us. I have stayed at the hotel on many occasions over the years. I love the location and charm of the hotel.

We were checked in by a nice person. He was very helpful as well. The apartment was tired in the decor. The couch was broken. There was only 2 bowls and a shortage of other crockery, so not good for a family of six people. There were no saucepans available. The apartment was very clean though with plenty of towels and the beds were nice.

The unit itself was a little tired and the art work not necessarily to my taste. But the views are wonderful and the unit a generous size. Probably due for a soft refurb. The staff were very helpful, getting us in a room hours before check in time. All staff we encountered were professional, helpful and polite.

Room was spacious and clean. However when I went for Breakfast in the morning i waited for 5 minutes at the entry and nobody came. I then went seardching for a waiter and was advised to take a seat. I waited an eternity (20 minutes or so it seemed) before I asked a passing staff member if I could get a breakfast order in. Two other members joined my table and they too were ignored. I would probably choose to stay elsewhere in future.

Perfect location opposite the Botanic gardens and walking distance to the mall. Outlook from my room was beautiful. The apartment was clean and nice. Excellent service on the front desk. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Well located and good size rooms but a bit dated. No bowls in the kitchen, fridge too close to wall (so hit hands on wall to open fridge), very difficult to get correct temperature in shower (as hot and cold taps instead of mixer), holes in bedroom curtains, wardrobe door off its rails and toilet too close to door (so get hit on knees if someone else comes into bathroom when on toilet) - all simple things that could easily be fixed with a makeover.

« Quite charming and great location »

The room we pre-booked (2 bedroom) was unavailable so we were upgraded to a 3 bedroom, which we really appreciated. Yes, there were some downsides to being an older property, mostly plumbing related) but overall it was a great stay. We couldn't have asked for a nicer view of the river and botanical gardens. It was a nice walk to our choice of restaurants.
