As an Accor Club member, I expected a much better quality room. The view was terrible, there was mouldy grout in the bathroom sower area. The room was very below Accor quality. I expected better from Mecure and Accor.

The Mercure King George Square is my go to home whenever we visit Brisbane. They never fail to impress us. It was great to see that renovations, including room upgrades, 6Antlers, Pool area and the Goldfinch restaurant have been completed since our last visit, and a credit to the hotel they all are. We visited on this occasion to celebrate my sisters 50th Birthday and even though they were busy, the staff could not have been more accommodating, Gunter and Kit especially made us all feel very welcome! We look forward to returning and have already booked for 10days over New Year see you again soon.

I visited Brisbane just for 2days to do sight seeing, i contacted the conceirge through phone and email and asked them for tour information, which was not provided to me. Even when i reached at the hotel in the night they did not have information, they just gave me brochures. I had to do everything by myself. Next day though there were two individuals in the concierge who were helpful. Cleanliness - The rooms were clean but the GYM Shower area and bathroom were not, even the towels and amenities like soap etc in the GYM shower were not available. Overall the location was excellent, close to all the sights and sight seeing bus pick up point, so i would rate slightly higher just due to this.

Lovely room, great location. Only negative was the THREE interuptions on Sunday - we had 12pm checkout and three times we had knocking at the door telling us to check out - once they knocked and came in whilst we were still in bed!

We have stayed at the Mercure Brisbane King George Square on several occasions. It is centrally located and always clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and customer focussed. Parking is quite expensive but that is probably a Brisbane thing. Overall, we recommend this hotel highly.

Found a problem with hot water, maintenance attended hot water came through. Came back after dinner water still some time in coming through. This continued during our stay hot water taking 10-20 minutes to come through. A appalling waste of water .
