We decided to stay in a top notch hotel as a treat for our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed a great room, with a fabulous view of Sydney Harbour. Had an excellent meal in the dining room. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Our first taste of 5 star luxury was tremendous.

Regular visitor and can see that nothing has been done to maintain or improve facilities and furnishings. Wifi is hopeless and unable to sustain my work needs. This was augmented with a "hot spot" at the suggestion of the only staff person who understood what "service" actually means. Housekeeping turned on dishwasher and left hi unfinished and alarming with error signal. Shower door leaks all over bathroom floor. Room service food "just adequate" - not 5 star level. Parking expensive. Service in restaurant for breakfast occasionally good but mostly poor. After being a regular guest I do not think I can return, despite the wonderful view and location. It needs to be fixed!!

The hotel is located in an excellent location and right in the centre of Circular Quay where there are many restaurants, shops and every mode of public transport needed to explore the surrounding area. The apartment was spacious with lovely views and nicely furnished with a comfortable bed. The hotel bar where you can eat and drink has amazing views, unfortunately it was impossible to make a reservation for dinner as the bar had been booked for private parties for months in advance and on one evening we couldn’t use the bar at all due to a private party!! It is the only bar in the hotel and one of the reasons I booked this hotel was the photos of the amazing views from the bar used to advertise this hotel so we were very disappointed we could not use it!

We loved the location - close to everything and a constantly changing and interesting harbour view. The room was lovely. Unfortunately the bed was not as comfortable as we would have expected and the sofa bed which we also used was very very uncomfortable. The sofa bed would greatly benefit from some kind of foam topper. I was disappointed to find the pool so hard to access. I like an early morning or late night swim and to do that that i would have to go to reception first, so didn't bother. I had 1 swim during the day and was surprised that there was no changing room (or i couldn't find one). However overall we had a great holiday in a great hotel.

Was very happy with front of house staff, escorted to the room and shown how to operate various appliances, control the AC and shown the fridge, coffee, tea etc. Views were great, loved the smell of the ocean and views of the harbour bridge and ships coming in and going. Only disappointment was being woken by a jackhammer in the next door construction site @ 6am!! then it didn't operate again till after 9am when we were leaving, other patrons mentioned this also. Overall very happy, if management could speak to the construction site and ask them to delay such works til a more suitable hour, would have been perfect

Jackhammering next door makes it impossible to stay in room

Jackhammering at the construction site next door makes it impossible to stay in rooms at that end of the hotel. We were assured it wouldn't continue the following day but 7.30am it started again. These rooms should not be charged at any where near full rate and guests should be advised of the possibility of noise. Had we know we would have stayed elsewhere. Staff did try their best but bookings in these rooms should not be taken unless guests know about the construction site. Extremely annoyed at the inconvenience this caused and the purpose of a relaxing and resting time which was the purpose of our visit ended up being a stressful and horrible experience.
