Amazing location and view from room, Room seemed a little dated in comparison to other Pullman, carpet needed to be straightened out, marks on walls,trays left in corridors uncollected for too long BUT YES I WOULD COME BACK. Staff very friendly.

The location is superb and the rooms are perfect for a longer stay being equipped with a kitchen and laundry facilities. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The bed very comfortable and the room quiet. Unfortunately an Amani Jeans white T shirt and a caftan / nighty went missing as they were both white and left in the bed, we think they were gathered up with the bedclothes and sent to the laundry. We are hoping to get them both back. Although the room is perfect for a longer stay it is now in need of an up-grade as the rooms are showing signs of wear and tear but are also now a bit out of date in design. Still the best place to stay through.

Booked through booking.com for 4 people confirmation from Pullman only said 2 sorted that but on arrival the second bed was not made or bedding supplied. Staff immediately resolved the problem. Love the location, grand kids enjoyed the pool and spa, we will be coming back on our own. Room is great coffee machine is a nice touch. Balcony overlooking the garden was great. More information about breakfast and where to have it would have been helpful.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times before. We are saddened that that shabby state of the carpets has not be replaced. The reception area and rooms carpet needs stretching and relaying.The dinning room carpet looks unclean when you can see the real colour around the window edges. The state of the decor was raised at reception about five years ago and is now more than over due for an ACCOR hotel. Breakfast helpings are not suited to the needs of the customer rather what has already been set out in the kitchen. This keaves a huge waste of food particularly in the cereals. The plated mains with toast on the same plate is gross and also over done. This needs to be looked at and perhaps offer a buffet for the cereals and plate the cooked breakfast. The coffee was great and the best part of the breakfast. We love to swimming pool which is not overcrowded and the indoor set up means we can have a swim regardless of the weather. It is the view and the pool we would come back for. This is key selling factor for us. The rest needs an urgent upgrade and the breakfast suitable adjustments. The George in Christchurch does breakfast well for a boutique hotel. You may like to take a leaf out of theirs.

Our stay was good, only disappointed by the restaurant Saturday night not being able to seat us. We were not notified by anyone during our stay that we had to book, as guests we assumed we would be able to use the restaurant. The bar was booked for a private function, which is understandable at this time of year, but we were aware of this by the signage. We arrived at the restaurant about 8.45pm and there was a vacant table for 2, the attendant who greeted us after we waited at the counter for a while, asked if we had a booking, we said no & did not think as hotel guests we needed to book, regardless of being guests she said there were no tables available. After I pointed Out there was a vacant table she said she would have to check with her manager. The manager was very visible at the coffee machine and it was quite clear he did not want to seat us as perhaps he wanted an early night. The attendant came back & told us unfortunately the table was booked. We left the restaurant & went outside to find somewhere else to eat, we came back perhaps 45 minutes to an hour later & the table was still vacant! The manager obviously did not want the extra work and placed the attendant-who was a trainee - in an awkward position. I did mention this to the assistant manager the morning of our checkout, she was quite surprised & did take off our parking which was a lovely gesture & very appreciated, however we were still disappointed not to be able to enjoy dinner in your beautiful restaurant.

« Excellent location, attentive staff, clean and well presented room a very enjoyable stay. »

All staff were friendly, courteous and accommodating from check in to check out. We were very impressed with the room and grateful for the upgrade. We were not able to have a drink at the bar due to a function however drinks were brought up to our room. We had breakfast which was included and lunch at the hotel each meal was a good size and well presented.

After checking into my room, there was a very bad burning smell which lingered in my room 410 for quite some time. After having the head cleaning and duty manager come and see me (I was on hold trying to get through on the phone for almost 5 minutes), they then realised the person in the apartment next to me had accidentally left eggs boiling on their stove and forgot about it which caused the extremely bad smell which lingered for some time. Also, after going to the pool there was a man with two young children screaming and splashing in the pool - not very enjoyable at all.. I paid $416 for the room for the night and very disappointed about my stay.

All was fine except (1) the bar was too crowded and loud and taken over with mostly nonresidents of the hotel. Also, one night there was a private function in the bar area that made matters worse. And I couldn't eat in the Q restaurant because it was fully occupied by a private dinner. These were not announced when I checked in.

Have been wanting to try out this hotel for a couple of years now and finally the Circular Quay location was perfect for what we were needing to do while in Sydney. Our room was well positioned with a gorgeous view of the Harbour Bridge. The noise from the busy quay is easily blocked out when doors and windows are closed so future travellers need not be concerned about this. The apartment was spacious and the decor was welcoming. Some furnishings and paintwork is a little tired but aprt from that you can't fault the Pullman.

The location is perfect. I stayed here about 8 years ago and loved it. The reception staff , room service staff and maintenance were second to none in terms of response to any requests we had. We had a great stay, however I feel the hotel suites are due for an update now. The carpet is worn and the bed was not nearly as comfortable as I recall from my last visit.

I’m a regular at the quay grand whenever I have an occasion that I need to show off our amazing city, I stay here in a Harbour View room. I love that it has a balcony, a kitchen, separate bedroom and perfect location. The Pullman is my first choice of hotels whenever traveling. If there was a nicer, outdoor pool this would be the best hotel in Sydney!

The hotel experience was generally good except on the day of our check out. The night manager on duty was very unfriendly, an anomaly for the usual level of service I receive at other accor/fairmont hotels.
