« Great Location »

Had 2 days at this lovely hotel. Stayed here last year for the first time to go to a show at the Opera House and was my choice for this trip. Lovely apartment rooms with balconies overlooking the Botanical Gardens and Circular Quay to the Harbour Bridge. Getting around is easy from here as harbour ferries and also train station very close by. Q dining is a lovely restaurant both for dinner and breakfast. It is an upmarket hotel. Will stay again next time in Sydney from Perth.

It was a lovely room, that was clean, but the room service was terrible. The chicken sliders tasted like fish and the dip was sour, no spice what so ever.

« All great the room and view was fabulous, »

All went well, except the breakfast staff were a bit off the ball on the second day we had breakfast and it took ages to come out. The first day the staff were great. Otherwise all great.

Had a nice stay due to location and room. Great concierge and porter staff. Not satisfied that late checkout not available later than 2pm to Platinum member. Breakfast quality very disappointing 3 mornings in a row.

« Needs a good clean, an update to customer service, and some long overdue maintenance »

We had to clean the bath prior to using it, as there was hair in the tub and shaving cream/hair up the wall. I found a mobile phone under the coffee table and a sim card on the couch. The toilet seat looks like it has seen much better days. Organising the babysitter was tedious, we booked through the hotel and rang back to confirm. Information regarding the service was not clear and we were rung back on a couple of occasions to confirm the service and it appears the dates were incorrect (the babysitter confirmed she had been told the wrong dates). Booking the room was also tedious and we had to ring back twice to do this. Housekeeping were inconsistent, complimentary water one day, no coffee pods the next. Outside cleaned and then not cleaned. Ringing for assistance was answered promptly and professionally. Overall - for the price paid, I expected a lot more and would not stay here again, nor recommend it.

services are awesome, staffs are friendly. except the facilities needs to be renewed. the tv remote doesnt work, tv has few locked channel, drapes are old and stained, ceiling are cracked. all the funiture feels old. ironing board collapsed few time when i trying to iron. the fridge door seal needs to be serviced. keeps opening by itself (could be haunted lol). otherwise everything is ok

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a fantastic location. The room was large, had a lovely view and the kitchenette was really useful. Unfortunately it wasn't as clean as I have experienced in other 5 star hotels. The cupboards in the kitchen were dusty and the crockery was dirty.

The room was tired in need of renovation and not as advertised. We were able to change rooms for our last night Very disapointing first stay in a Sydney we have lived on gold coast for last 12 years before that UK Trip was for husbands 60 birthday i feel the staff didnt offer anything to make up for shortfalls

Have stayed many times and an essential part of our Sydney experience. Breakfast was included and seemed to tale about an hour every time. Equivalent to a stay at Fawlty Towers as kitchen appeared very disorganised. Waiting staff appeared embarassed with the situation. Room 1015 very tired. Needs new carpet and bathroom. Lighting very poor in kitchen area. Room service was good and speedy.

Everything was great but when we had breakfast they forgot our order and we waited for 30 mins for the order to come. My poached eggs were like hard boiled eggs. Our coffees were late and when we confronted them she was so rude. I always stay with u but will rethink for next time. My sister and I turned 70 and this was an awful experience

I was disappointed in your public spaces. I had specifically contacted your hotel and explained that my 98 year old mother was flying down from Brisbane and we were spending the night at your hotel before boarding the Queen Elizabeth in the afternoon of the following day. My query was as to where we could spend the day and have lunch in your hotel. Obviously somewhere quiet and easily accessible for a 98 year old! I got the impression that there was a comfy lounge we could spend the afternoon in and have a light meal and felt the actuality did not match that. Our choice was - a formal dining with hard surfaces therefore noisy, a noisy Italian bistro on the ground floor or the Lounge/Bar we ended up in. Music turned up - though they reluctantly turned it down when asked (not the bar fellow I asked, he was very off-hand - but a pleasant waitress took the initiative herself, thank you!) and mainly bar food. So not what I had been led to believe!

The only good thing about my stay was the amazing view. But service was terrible. No one helped me with my luggage from the car to my room and vice-versa because of ‘staffing issues’ ( not my problem!), phone wasn’t working in the room etc. I am an Accor member & use the hotels often. My experiences at others AccorHotels are great. I must say there is nothing 5 star about Pullman Grand Quay.

We booked a 1 bedroom and were upgraded upon arrival, a small gesture that meant a lot to us. The boys had balloons and lollies on the table which was a lovely touch. We felt important.
