Overall, it was a luxury experience with friendly staff and comfortable bed. But sometimes little things count, like a small supply of tissues with no spares in the cupboard.

Our initial experience with the Pullman Grand Quay can only be described as exceptional. From the moment of our arrival we were very well taken care of. Firstly the Valet took care of our car, followed by the sincere and warm greeting from the Reception Staff. We were escorted to our room and upon opening the front door we could immediately see the fabulous views of Circular Quay, the Harbour Bridge and Opera House ....then we readjusted our eyes to see just how spacious and lighted filled our room would be for the stay. Every detail had been taken care of by the Hotel Staff including a surprise bottle of bubbles which was waiting for us to help celebrate our anniversary. The bed was very comfortable and room service breakfast was a lovely start to the following day. There was a bit of noise from a couple of the boats closest to the hotel but not a fault of the hotel. Overall it was everything and more than we expected!!!

From the friendly receptionist to the surprise plate of lollies and a balloon in the room, my 2 children were very excited and enjoyed their stay. The view was great, location handy to everything (easy to get public transport or similar). The pool facilities were also great.

Enjoyed the view. Location is fantastic. Staff very nice. We only had one negative. The water temperature in the shower was up and down. Couldn't regulate.

Disappointed with state of room - shabby especially bathrooms & dusty in bedrooms. Also the 2nd bedroom (room 401) did not get internet . Great views & location very good. Breakfast was very good but the service during breakfast was not the best. Also found check in & out somewhat lacking as regards to information & helpfulness. Certainly not up to other Pullman hotels in this regard. Very disappointed with gym. Had to ask staff for assess early morning & no free weights & weight machines pretty limiting.

Excellent deluxe harbour room with spectacular views. Was perfect for my two business meetings and my clients very impressed. If I were to be picky - The TV could have been slightly larger and facility for chromecast or netflix. Kitchen was great except one very large serrated knife only to cut up a few small lemons. The dining table light could have been brighter or even a dimmer to be able to work in the evening. One out of 2 treadmills not working which was a problem for me personally as I only had limited time to use the gym area - and they were very cheap outdated models. But these things didn't dampen my stay.

We had a confused and unacceptable check in experience - was told 1 room which included a $1 breakfast but it was not ready. We came back and was given a different room and was told we would have a $1 breakfast. When we got to the room it was already occupied. We went back to reception and was given a 3rd room which was nearest to the noisy and ugly construction site and were again promised a $1 breakfast. When we went to breakfast we were again told we were entitled to the $1 meal. When checking out we were asked to pay for the breakfasts.

Very comfortable, layout of room very good, it was wonderful having the balcony with the view over the harbour. At the same time it was very quiet. Breakfast was also very nice. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. A few small areas for improvement- * no shower cap in bathroom * need a less expensive wine option in mini bar or half bottles * dirty dishes were still outside our room when we returned at 4pm (had left at 11am) * perhaps not controlled by the hotel but disappointed that Hacienda bar closed at 10pm after we had returned from a show at the opera house, also could not get a coffee there in the afternoon * my husband ordered fish of the day from room service- I think it was around $45 and there were no chips served with it, only a very small amount of greens - this was disappointing not to have a full meal for this price. These were small things as we would definitely stay again, particularly when special deals are available! A few things

This hotel is in a great location. A quick walk to the iconic opera house and close to the water ferries that will take you to any other harbors. The views from the restaurant and bar are beautiful and it is a very relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of eating establishments on the harbor front.
