The Pullman Grand Quay is in the perfect location when visiting Sydney. The views are spectacular - day and night - and being able to enjoy Sydney Harbour from the balcony rather than through a pane of glass sets this hotel well apart from others in the area. The reception staff are efficient and friendly. The apartments are a great size and very comfortable. Our only criticism would be that the housekeeping was not quite as good as when we stayed there in January but not enough to spoil our visit.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is central, close to train and ferries. The view of the bridge is magnificent. Fine dining are just a walk away.

From the moment we walked in to our suite we knew it was something special for our wedding anniversary. Beautifully appointed and tasteful with spectacular views of the Botanic Gardens and views of Circular Quay when dining.

Needed a break at an hotel with a warm indoor pool for exercising a sore shoulder. Apartment was spacious with a great spa bath. Pool was okay the first day, then temperature dropped and too cold to use thereafter. First day breakfast in restaurant, no buffet, had to order and a long wait. My food was lukewarm but my daughter's was fine. Second day we ordered breakfast up to room and everything was perfect. Would definitely come back if pool was kept warm. Views lovely.

Lovely bell man Rick was very welcoming from the beginning, a real asset during our stay with his friendly manner. Breakfast was very nice and young gentleman there was again, a real asset to the hotel (name was Jos or john tues 26-fri 29 July. Would suggest that glass coffee table , glass shelf at entrance and wobbly bathroom cabinet in room be removed or replaced as were not really safe or practical for us with the power wheelchair. A water jug would be handy in fridge. Unfortunately couldn't visit the Hacienda Bar as was used for functions during most of our stay. All in all, lovely position and would consider staying again, mostly for that reason and 2 great staff .

The booking and reception staff staff were great. Except for the cleaning service that did not have the courtesy to check if room was vacant and disposed our water bottles and were cleaning our room while we were having breakfast and before check out. Room service could have been better. Breakfast was poor. I asked for Eggs Benedict and I was told that sauce was not gluten free, so I ask the order without sauce. When I got my order after waiting for a long time my order only included two pieces of toast and two poached eggs nothing else.

And a very great THANK YOU to Vaish at reception for recommending the Harbour view room and ensuring we had a pleasant stay. Housekeeping was great as well. Keep it up & will definitely return when visiting sydney.

We have stayed in Sydney 3 to 4 times a year for the last 10 years or more and this is the best Hotel so far. Not only were the staff exceptional and more than willing to please, the location is perfect for travel. We arrived by car but the train is a good option as well as access to the Ferry Terminal and Buses. We are back in August and look forward to eating at some of the other Restaurants we missed on our previous visit.

We feel so comfort with the services and hospitality of the hotel and employees. It is perhaps due to the diversity of employees background providing the service in the hotel - so there are some mixed hospitality and services of west and east. When we arrived in the hotel, the staff still remember us from the last year visit and still remember of what we asked in our previous stay. Some of the staff even remember the request of help that we asked in previous year and asked if we still need the same help... that really was really gave us a feeling like we have somebody that know our needs. Improvement that we feel the hotel can do: 1. There was a duty manager (?) that we did not familiar with the face from the previous year (perhaps a new one?). When we asked for possibility of our breakfast delivered to the room due to we had to leave so early, the first answer was a big no, before even talking to us (this was not the last year experiences). But after talking to the staff and asked her to explain to him what happened in previous year and what we asked we checked in, he let the staff to talk directly with the kitchen....so finally we got that. To us, if he could just be nicer and listen before saying a big no, that would really great. 2. The variety of breakfast food for kids. If this could be improved, that would really great and we have no headache for our picky eater kid.

This is a very well positioned hotel - 3 min walk to the Opera House! The rooms are very spacious with great views. The staff is really friendly and attentive. We booked a garden view but the upgraded us to the Harbour view which was very nice.
