When I come to the hotel arround 10am on 1 Sept,,the room was not ready yet. Receptionist welcome me with hospitality and good services,,and she suggest me to wait until 1 pm, my bag was take care by her, so I can go arround the hotel for coffe shop. And 1 pm I ger call from hotel, and get to the room,,take a rest. Room is nice, clean . and hotel location nearby the mall,,so not difficult to find food , shopping

Great Option for Brisbane CBD

This is a great option for people needing more room facilities than a hotel room. Easy and economical parking. Shopping and restaurants nearby including a good restaurant in the Sebel itself. Great option for runners to access river and garden trails. Service is good, albeit a bit laid back which is typical for Brisbane.

As usual, very friendly checkin. Didn't have my room ready but I was early so understandable. Biggest issue for me is still the room service in the evenings. There is a lady that calls me 'sweetie' or 'darling' or something like that (I don't like either way), but I order ice-cream and chocolate sauce every stay. Sometimes, I get sauce and sometimes I don't. This time, I asked for Ice-cream and chocolate sauce - I received ice-cream and strawberries. I'm allergic to strawberries. I called the restaurant and asked them to add to my file that I'm allergic to strawberries (was disappointed with no sauce, but not a big deal). The lady offered to deliver a new ice-cream with chocolate sauce but I declined her offer (as not a big deal), but then she proceeded to tell me that it is my responsibility to tell them about my allergies every time I order as they don't keep a record. I said that if strawberries were mentioned on the menu (or even potential list of ingredients) for ice-cream and chocolate sauce I would have, but usually ice-cream and chocolate sauce is just ice-cream and chocolate sauce. She then raved on about her nut allergy and explains how she tells everyone about it every time she orders anything and I should be doing the same. I will from now on sound like an idiot and ask for no strawberries when I order ice-cream and chocolate sauce, but I really didn't appreciate her response. This is the same person that I've had issues with before - wouldn't let us order room service from the restaurant as we came through the hotel, also wouldn't serve us a complimentary wine (had my free ticket) to take to our room as the till was closed and a couple of other things here and there. None of these are big things but they just don't reflect the very positive, friendly and helpful attitude of just about everyone else at your hotel - I love them all! I think I'll just order takeaway or run down to Nightowl for ice-cream from now on and save us all the angst :)

Friendly staff, very nice rooms. Only one downside: the shower/bath had no railing or hand hold to help us get in and out. Made things awkward and a bit slippery.

We received a warm welcome on arrival and were checked in hassle-free. Our room on the 25th floor was spacious and very comfortable for our 2-night stay. Location is great, only a short walk from Queen Street Mall and QPAC. The Croft restaurant was very convenient for an early dinner prior to our show at QPAC.
