Purchased chocolates with booking, no chocolates on arrival. Then was told chocolate fee would be waived. Was given 2 drink vouchers. On checkout, "free" drinks were included in the bill and chocolate fee was not waived. Was told these charges would be reversed. It is now Wednesday. No reversal. I have now had to call back and explain again that charges were applied incorrectly and please return to my Credit Card. I am now waiting for hear confirmation that a credit will be applied to the card. Overall a poor experience for me.

« I think I've found my Brisbane Hotel! »

I've stayed in many hotels around Brisbane in the last few years. The Sebel Brisbane may have just become my new go-to hotel. It's centrally located to the CBD, the modern clean rooms are far more spacious than most. If you're sensitive to noise or light entering the rooms, you'll find these quiet and really dark with the curtains closed (noted I was on the 29th floor). The on site restaurant served great food (although service time was a little slower than expected). The breakfast was a wonderful start to the day. Parking each night was $28 which is very reasonable for a city hotel. However - do note if arriving by car, you will need to arrive before 7pm to access the carpark. For every future stay in the CBD (and I'm arriving before 7pm), the Sebel will be my go to Hotel.

Checkin friendly but room wasn't ready even at the later arrival after 2:30pm - but I wasn't in a rush that day so no big deal (but could have been). Checkout great. Room service very timely. Shower didn't spray everywhere - happy days :)

Lovely experience however I did have 3 guest over for a dinner party and had to request seating in a one bedroom apartment. The balcony had no furnishings and the dinner table was only equipped with 2 seats.

Room, location and facilities fantastic. I didn't get asked about membership or told that my voucher was in the packet or about the internet. Receptionist seemed a little distracted. Room was lovely but given I was with both kids it would have been good to have 3 towels and a hand towel also. Overall great accommodation and kids and I enjoyed a swim in the pool.

We received an upgrade which was appreciated. The room was well appointed and spacious. Breakfast was included in our overnight stay. The restaurant was extremely busy and the wait time was longer than anticipated. This was the only downfall of our trip.
