« Nice hotel but beds let it down. »

Service fantastic, friendly staff, excellent hotel amenities, room needed up dating. Bed disgraceful, sore back every morning, the sag in the bed so bad one could see it even when bed made up, lie in it and sink into the middle. Time for bed mattresses!

Our experience in your hotel is enhanced by your staff, from the young lady outside to attend to the car to Yuku at the book-in desk They are always friendly, efficient and ready to help. Dinner in Cocos was wonderful and again the wait staff were very attentive and helpful. A great place to stay!

Hotel is beautiful and conveniently located. Interior and space of the room was above expectation. However, I did not have any in room internet due to the internet was down. As I am not a local and am on business trip, it is essential for me to have internet access to continue working and communication. I was asked to go to the lobby to do my work.. And maybe just a suggestion that that maintenance of the elevator can be carried out at night? There were long queues and had easily waited for 15-20 mins a couple of times before managing to squeeze into one. Despite of all these, overall stay was still ok.

Please accept my apologies for the issues you experienced due to our internet being down, rest assured we did work to address this issue with our supplier as quickly as possible. I am also sorry that our elevator refurbishment works also caused disruption to your stay. Unfortunately the work cannot be carried out at certain times and then the lift placed back in order, as the works involve removing the mechanics of the elevator, meaning it is inoperable during the full time it is being refurbished. I am pleased to advise these works have now been completed and all our services are back in working order. I enjoyed the stay very much. all staff I met were extremely helpful and friendly. the staff are reception who checked me in was very knowledgeable about the place and gave very easy to follow directions for our little excursion. the staff who checked us out offered to call me a taxi which was really nice. the lady at the restaurant told us to join the accor club to get discounted breakfast and told us about all the food at the breakfast buffet. Overall, I was very satisfied with the staff and the room.

Stayed in a 2bd penthouse with hot tub. A lot of space, huge deck with grill and hot tub, wonderful master bathtub, 2 comfy king beds, excellent cleaning services, good A/C. We got a special deal online with advance booking so it was great value, not sure about the rack rate.

Upgraded to guest of the day for my two night stay - totally unexpected and after a week of conducting business trips in Brisbane, Tasmania and then Cairns, this was a very pleasant surprise. Staff were always available and welcoming, knew their jobs and made the stay relaxing.

« Great customer service but lacking in connectivity »

I have to say my experience was a bit mixed. Firstly massive compliments to the young assistant named ash, his service was impeccable and really helped smooth over the issues i had with not only tv reception but even issues with the audio on the movies system, add to that some lackluster internet speed, which made the week long stay a bit of a headache. Guven that other hotels in the pullman brand in other cities have way better connectivity overall, it was a bit disappointing for a supposed 5* hotel in one of australias biggest travel spots to be so archaic. This needs to be rectified asap!
