« An excellent choice »

This hotel offers excellent value and is a high end establishment in interior appearance and quality of rooms. Service is not as personable as some comparable properties so far as reception and concierge experience. Water temperature in rooms could have been hotter, and hotel does not provide a personal computer for guest use. Overall, this was an enjoyable place to stay.

The hotel staff are all friendly, pleasant and polite. The room allocated to us couple has been handy, with reasonable views, spacious and clean enough to our standard. It would have been great to see a suitable plug provided for the bathroom basin so it is functional for each use in order to conserve precious water. We love the hotel ambience and services and the amenities are excellent. The wifi could have been better as it has its moments.

From check in to check out I could have not asked for anything more. The staff were some of the nicest people I have encountered in all of my travels, the room was tidy and the view was something you would typically see in a magazine

« Not happy with the parking »

We were a very happy couple on arrival, until we were told about the parking arrangements. The Valet parking, that we didn't asked and are force to paid. I live in the region and a local. We aren't in a big city. This is just cost and cost.... If we want Valet parking we would of asked for it. Next time I stay in Cairns, the Pullman Cairns International Hotel will be last on my list. We were grateful for the upgrade and being chosen as special guests especially as we were using one of our free nights. The staff as always were exceptional in every area. Very important to me because of a medical condition the air conditioning is excellent. The Pullman Cairns is our favorite hotel in Cairns.

« A lot can be improved »

I had a beautiful view from my room. Staff were helpful. But the room has not been upgraded in a long time. Surely if people book rooms they expect to come to rooms more appealing and in synch with the status of the hotel and cost. I think my room has seen better times. It’s furniture is peeling off and desperately screaming for revamp. I wouldn’t choose it if I had a chance to view it.

« Fairly good but some basic mistakes »

It was fine, I was there for a conference which was convenient. Unfortunately my credit card had a pre-auth taken for my entire stay, even though I had an all charges back to company booking. It then took three calls until someone could identify it, let alone offer to fix it. I was twice told it must be the casino across the road even though I did not stay there or even enter that building. Having worked in hotels myself, and being very aware of how pre-auths are applied and can be cleared, I was disappointed that this happened and took 10 days to clear. Particularly as it was for a card with a very low limit and I subsequently got a overdraw fee.

Our experience was amazing. We are Accor members and were awarded Loyalty Member of the Day which upgraded us free to the Presidential Suite. Wow! A beautiful surprise. What a wonderful way to reward your members. The stay was amazing and staff treated us like royalty. (they always do)

Very pleasant, a nice place to stay and the corporate rate makes it very reasonably priced and a much more suitable option than some of the other 'budget' accommodation in Cairns.

« A fabulous experience from the wonderful front desk staff to the gorgeous view ! »

I stayed for one night on the 4th floor which was nice and I had a few nice swims in the pool, meeting great people from around the world. I found the front desk staff, to be really professional and kind! On my return to Cairns I stayed another night. I had been at a work meeting for a few days and was really tired. I was upgraded to a TOTALLY FABULOUS suite on the 16th floor and was so incredibly grateful and happy - THANK YOU! I travel to Cairns regularly for work and have stayed at quite a few different hotels - I will now ALWAYS stay at the Pullman.
