We were booked in by our airline as we had missed a flight. Although we were warmly welcomed, enjoying the buffet and nice facilities, I had the impression that overall there was the slight impression of an overall impersonal atmosphere.

The staff were great and friendly. The room needed a paint job and the room was a little musky smell. Our shower head was brocken so water went everywhere we did report to front desk they did offer a room change we said no as we were in our way out to dinnee and would be back late. The hot part of breakfast was not hot at all.

people in the hotel is nice, but equipment in it is not very good. I lived in it and found that the shower head is broken. At the end, I reported it and moved to another room. Many hotels in Australia is a little bit old, so things like that may happen.

I was blown away by the 5-star service I experienced during my recent stay at the Pullman Cairns International. I was very well looked after by Thomas, Andre, Letitia and Ghinna in particular. Their professionalism is second to none. I don’t think I could find better service anywhere. As a local working in a role where I meet hundreds, if not thousands, of visitors every day I would be inclined to suggest Pullman Cairns International as my top pick for the best hotel in Cairns.

The location is great. Staff are always so friendly. Food and beverage was spot on. My only negative....some areas are looking very tired. ... 15th carpet is worn through, outdoor furniture outdated and mouldy and table in room peeling.

I love the size of the room. Really spacious and well rugged. The continental breakfast was awesome. Except for the pool which seemed to be detached and too small for the many people using it everything else was perfect.

Very poor. Staff was nice. Food was fine. Elevators didn’t work most of time. Design of do not disturb sign was foolish as they are open ended and all Ofer the hallways. Rain soaked rugs on most floors. No effort to dry them out. Mold smell. Toilets took about 3-5 minutes to stop after a flush. Sink took about 3 minutes to go down after usage. No real way to control air conditioning with Him air vent right over bed. So blowing cold air or warm in room all night choice. I could go on ..

Never recieved complimentary moet on arrival as we were told we would. Other than that it was a pleasant experience. Except for the noisy neighbors on either side of our rooms. They left doors open when arguing so noise carried into our rooms. Enjoyed the buffet breakfasts but never got to enjoy dinner menu as times we would like were booked. But we expected some difficulties on this weekend as we did leave it late to book.

Looked for flatter pillow in cupboard and when I pulled the pillow out a condom fell out. The pillow looked used and not freshly ironed. The bed was uncomfortable and hard. The mattress topper was hanging off one side about 6 inches so was short on other side of the bed. Making it uncomfortable. It looked old and flat. Pillows were like rocks. I have stayed many times before and I think the standard has dropped and prices have gone up. The star rating I feel is incorrect. The hotel is looking tired. Paintwork etc. We stay regularly in hotels in Cairns area as a break from our country home. I have delayed responding to this survey as I didn't enjoy my stay and was disapponted. This is all constructive criticism and my experience. No doubt others have enjoyed their stay there. Not sure about returning.

Very pleasant experience as usual. Check in was fast and efficient and we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was very comfortable and I appreciated being allocated a room further away from the elevator as per my preference listed with my loyalty club membership. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel apart from checking in, getting ready for our patty and returning late in the evening. The bed was very comfortable and I was able to have a good rest. The only small inconvenience was housekeeping knocking on my door at 11:30am as I thought loyalty club members have a late checkout time of 12pm, but I may be wrong.
