All the staff were friendly and helpful, it was a very relaxed place to stay, the room was lovely with the balcony overlooking the water and the bed was so very comfortable. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

We had an enjoyable stay in what is a quality hotel. Unfortunately over the years we have stayed at the hotel the level of service has dropped with no room service any more and no secure parking which meant we could not enjoy the stay using our sports car. The service from staff is still exceptionally good and the accommodation is still top quality.

we booked a one night stay for our wedding anniversary we had brought a bottle of wine and a few drinks to sit on the balcony and enjoy the afternoon we could not even sit on the balcony as it seemed to be only wide enough for standing only there was a smoked marijuana joint on the balcony floor really disappointed with this hotel

Very friendly, helpful staff on reception who provided a happy atmosphere to our stay. Questioned the frosted glass panel by the shower because if anyone gets up in the night to use the toilet the light shines into the bedroom to disturb any other guests. Really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evening enjoying the view of Dolphin Bay and there were dolphins leaping when we looked out in the morning

It started and ended with a smile. The front desk staff were friendly and courteous. The rooms were clean and well maintained. I enjoyed the breakfast, I only wish it opened at 6:30 instead of 7:00. Convenient restaurants just a short walk away. Overall the stay was pleasurable and look forward to returning.

« A wonderful experience »

Upon arrival to check out I was greeted with warm, friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel is presented beautifully, breakfast choices was good and although the hotel itself doesn't have room service they offer a good range of local business that are on the boardwalk, close by and who deliver to the hotel. I stayed in the spa room which was massive including the balcony! The bed was neatly made and comfortable to sleep on. The Spa is big and due to the size it does take a while to fill however unlike some other places it has continuous hot water and was the perfect way to end the day after a course which was my reason for staying. The room is on level 2 and sits above a pub/restaurant at first this was a bit disappointing however once you had the tv on etc you couldn't hear the noise downstairs even with the doors open and during the night. I have stayed at other places which spa rooms etc are higher than the normal rooms and assumed the same but in all honesty an equivalent room type at a certain hotel in buswood would of been the amount i paid for to stay 2 nights at The Sebel would of been the same for one night at another. Overall I enjoyed my stay to the point where i didn't want to leave and would stay again - all ready planning a possible stay soon. Although the hotel itself doesn't have parking the public car park next to the hotel is free and i felt my car was safe in this area.

This room type does not reference a spa bath when booking, only advertising "our spacious bath tubs with Appelles luxury products." I can confirm that our hotel does have one (1) Spa Suite that you can reserve, this one is advertised as our "Spa Suite 1 King Bed Water View". Alternatively, if you're concerned when booking online, you are always welcome to phone our friendly hotel staff on 08… so you're certain of which room you're reserving. I am truly very sorry that the disappointment with your room has had such a detrimental effect on your special stay with us.
