hotel room was very clean and tidy, views from the balcony were great, staff were very friendly and very helpful, the only thing I was not keen on was parking on the public car park, but it didt put me off the hotel,

Booking - very helpful and could not do enough to assist over the phone. Advised of the special online and held on whilst I made sure I found what she had suggested. Customer Service of this lady was A1! Her Customer Service was that good, I felt very happy about our stay coming up. Room - clean, side lamps could only be turned on altogether which does not work for a child in the bed, had to sleep at the same time. TV was not easy to work out. Bed was comfortable. Minibar had good selection. Would have been good for a small table to have a drink or food on whilst watching tv. Temp was good. Bathroom - cracks in sink which was not good, potential for mould. Bath and shower were good and products were very nice. Good space in the room but would benefit from a little table to eat dinner off ie coffee table. Reception - Hard to locate from the carpark without signs and had to get directions from the tavern at the front. (Not a regular to Mandurah). Reception is not warm or inviting, felt like going to motel. Did not see anywhere where I had to reproduce my credit card as it had not been paid at the time of booking, thought it was paid when I booked online. Was not advised prior to that I would have to have a deposit taken? Not much information provided upon checkin ie where we could eat for dinner or whether we needed anything, would have been a good opportunity to make the experience more warming. Having worked in Hospitality, I expected more from the Guest Checkin experience. Morning checkout - requested if possible for a late checkout and was advised no problem. I was not advised to what time so I asked to what time this would be (assuming 2pm), only offered 1 hour later. Opportunity missed as only wanted a 1.00pm checkout but was advised that it could not be done. Breakfast - Good selection (had already rang through on the day prior to booking to ensure Nut Allergy could be catered for). Thankyou to the chef. Please note that cracked pepper in the large bits looks a lot like Walnuts crushed, a minor panic. Ate Poached eggs, sorry but very disappointed. They were cooked (all 4) as Boiled Eggs on the inside. Brought to the attention of the Breakfast attendant. Not offered replacements only that the Chef is sorry and they hopefully will be better next time. Breakfast was not that busy at the time. Checkout - Efficient, polite and smooth.

I would like to start off by saying your staff and the breakfast at the Sebel Mandurah was very good - staff extremely helpful and the breakfast fabulous. This is the first time staying in Mandurah and we checked the rating for the Sebel which was very good. Unfortunately our room was not so positive. Our room number 210, was above a bar/restaurant area which means we could hear people talking/laughing and music playing quite late into the night. It was therefore a not so relaxing stay as we couldn't sleep until it was quiet on the ground floor. We would have happily upgraded if we were made aware of this. So we were disappointed with the accommodation due to this.

We had book a room with a King Bed, sofa bed with Breakfast. Unfortunately there was a slight technical problem and although I had paid for the deal in advance together with another short stay, neither booking could be found. However, the Front Office Manager rectified this quite quickly. Due to the inconvenience that was caused, we were upgraded to a Water view and given a late check out, which we thought, was most appropriate in the circumstances and were happy with the outcome. We were also happy with how quickly the situation was resolved. We would like to thank all staff involved in particular Nicky. Our room had a pleasing decor and was very comfortable. It was air-conditioned (air-conditioning/heating). In the room we had a King size bed and a sofa bed for our daughter. We had a LCD TV, bathroom with shampoo, conditioner and bath gel. There was also a hair dryer and iron and ironing board provided.as well as tea/coffee making facilities. We also had the delightful water view. It was lovely to look out onto the peaceful Mandurah Estuary first thing in the morning. Each morning we enjoyed a cooked breakfast as well as cereal, pastries, fruit, yoghurt and pancakes. The staff were very friendly and helpful and check out was quick and easy. Again, special thanks to Nicky who helped us at check in. We look forward to our next stay.

No update by staff after we requested early check in before 12 online, we got there at 1 and had to go for a drink before we could get up to the room. A phone call we could have delayed arrival, thus not having to leave all our bags at reception, including 1000,s of dollars of jewlery and alcohol. It was a bit of a worry. Apart from that ,helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms , but still no inhouse food, cant wait for that to happen hopefully one day. Takeaway is just not the same.

Where do I start? Location wise, your hotel is just down the road to the train station. We attended the Pink concert that night and chose The Sebel to stay at to park and ride, as driving in the city can be quite hectic. The staff are high end, top level friendly and very accommodating. They smile and their smiles reach their eyes which makes me smile no end I was very fortunate to be a Guest of the Day and I was over the moon ecstatic having been up graded to a room with a view of the river, bottle of wine, chocolate drops, robes, swans on the bed. Very special indeed! The room and amenities are top notch and very clean. Due to time constraints, we unfortunately couldn't utilise the bath as much as it was twinkling with its' sparkliness. The next day, I was looking forward to my $1 breakfast and I was stunned that as Guest of the Day, we were provided with a complimentary cooked breakfast option. Oh wow! My stay just got even betterer! I had the Sebel sandwich and it was very very yummy and filling which ticked all the boxes in terms of flavour and textures. The addition of avocado lends a creaminess to the crunchiness My partner had the mushroom omelette and was very happy with the light option offered. She did think that perhaps cheddar or colby cheese might be better than mozzarella as she finds mozzarella can be a bit claggy and difficult to chew string if there is alot of it on board with any food in general. Overall we were just blown away with every aspect of The Sebel and we will definitely be staying here indefinitely when we are in Mandurah. Living in the country, we have had to stay at hotels when attending shows in Perth and we have stayed at a few over the years. "Guest of the Day" or a guest of the hotel, The Sebel, Mandurah has left a lasting impression that I will happily recommend to my friends and endorse online. So thank you for the wonderful experience
