Staff was lovely happy cheerful.. room was amazing.. the first thing I noticed when i walked in was how clean it smelt. The view of the water was amazingg. The bed was so comfy the pillows where the best.. I bought my pillow from home and didn't even want to use it I loved the hotels way better then my own. Will be back hopefully one day

Stay was very good indeed. But spoilt after departure. I received on the morning of departure my Ac as booked showing the booking total due ( No CC fee ) We decided to have breakfast and reported some water taken from the Mini bar. Reception was bussie and said revised ac would be spent having confirmed the cost with us. The revised Ac received the next day included a CC Fee on the entire Ac. This sort of practice is not acceptable...........!!

Very pleasant stay. Easy check in. Friendly staff. Disappointed on returning to room at midnight after attending a wedding and found no milk in the fridge for my coffee.

Everything was well handled from check-in to check. The $1 breakfast is amazing - where do you get breakfast for only $1 these days!! The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. Excellent value for money.

Check in was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location of the sebel is really lovely for a conference. The breakfast is very limited and I do feel a little expensive for 2 eggs on toast and 2 slices of melon ($29)

« Not the best room »

When I booked the room online I requested a foreshore view room. When we got there we didn't have a foreshore room, we didn't even have a room with a balcony. What we got was an end room with no decent view and no balcony. It was like a last resort room. The room was stuffy because they couldn't think to turn the air con on before we arrived. We had the air con at 22 degrees and it felt like 28 degrees, and it was very loud. The bathroom door was very hard to open, at times I struggled to open the door.

From the moment of our arrival, we were impressed. A warm greeting from the Hotel Manager, Nicky Copper and we were then shown to our room on the second floor which had a balcony overlooking the lagoon. The room was clean, well-appointed and everything was in good working order. The breakfasts were wholesome and well presented. Whenever we had a query or wanted information. the staff were there to help. We would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to our friends.

« Nice location for our needs. »

Very good, great upgrade room but airconditioning wasn't work and we had a horrinble sleepless night. At checkout told nicky at reception who feined surprise and she said she would report it, as we left we saw the airconditioning company were working in the plant room, would have been better to be honest and say yes there was a problem and it was being worked on.

Once again, I am terribly sorry to hear that you experienced with air-conditioning issues during the stay and can appreciate how uncomfortable this would have been for you. As promised the air con unit in the room was checked upon your departure to ensure no issues for our next guest. I wanted to reassure you that there have been no air conditioning contractors in the hotel. I wanted to clarify over the phone where you saw these as I have come to the conclusion that they must have been attending to one of the private apartments or another building in our strata complex. Adding credit card surcharge without notice and when using a debit card is not ok. Adding a $50 per night charge to clever potential extras sets out an immediate distrust of the establishment with its clients.

Dear Bobbi and Peter, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the The Sebel Mandurah. I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. At The Sebel, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. I'd like to address your two points that you've made. Firstly, our bond policy is in place to cover the hotel against any potential loss due to non-payment of bill or damages caused to rooms, which unfortunately is a common occurrence in today's age. Most large hotels and hotel chains charge a bond ranging from $1 per night to $500 per night depending on the individual hotel's policy. In this instance, you charged an additional $104.00 so the remainder of the bond was released with the final payment. The credit card surcharge is another issue altogether. I personally checked you in so I am truly sorry that I didn't recognise your card as a debit card as opposed to a credit card. That is totally my fault and I am terribly sorry for this mistake. I have submitted a refund request with management so you should see the $7.06 return to your card (ending in 1647) in the next 24 hours. When a card is identified as a debit card as opposed to a credit card, we would then process a pre-payment of the accommodation and bond (without a surcharge) and then we refund the difference of the bond upon departure. So I cannot reiterate how sorry I am for missing this detail on your card. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Kind Regards, TIani Cox Assistant Manager
