We stay here every December for my wife's birthday, always enjoyable, relax, nearby cafes restaurants within walking distance, delicious breakfasts served with a view of the river, staff always efficient and very friendly. This year we had an upgrade to a huge room with bath, wine, much appreciated. Plus we often stay here prior to flying overseas as it is only one hour drive to airport. Recommended !

I was in Mandurah to talk to business people and to demonstrate a product. In the evening we had a pleasant dinner in The Peninsula restaurant on the ground floor and the following morning we had a breakfast meeting in the Sebel. That was after a morning stroll around the canals. The room was very quiet and comfortable.

Firstly let me say that I rate the staff friendly and helpful. In the room the coffee mugs had not been properly cleaned-stained from previous use so we cleaned them before use. One of the hand towels in the bathroom-rolled up like the other bathroom linen ready for use-was dirty. It looked like someone had wiped dirty hand on it-visible dirt-and put it back. The fitted bedsheet had a small tear in it which had the tear being at the foot of the bed I may not have noticed but it was very close to the pillow. Tear was just on the side of the mattress.

Overnight with a little ballerina who was performing at the Arts centre next door; the room was well presented, she felt very special having her own bath towel and accessories set. The balcony with bay views was lovely and the lady in the breakfast room really sweet.

I would highly recommend this hotel in Mandurah - from the moment I arrived the staff were engaging and welcoming. When I entered my room I was extremely impressed by how clean and fresh the decor was, and although I knew there were many Christmas events occurring that night - I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet and noise proof my room was - I would definitely stay here again.

« It is unacceptable to not clean hotel rooms daily. »

Deeply dissatisfying to return to my room to find it uncleaned. Rang reception to be told rooms are not cleaned daily. A lack of daily cleaning reflects a lack of customer care. Secondly, it is 2018 and just as hotels have given up charging for internet use, so too should they give it charging for movies. It seems petty to turn the tv on and be quoted nearly $16 to watch a movie. Overall, the experience was very poor by comparative hotel standards.

The room was great, except when the band was playing in the bar below. Fortunately they stopped paying at 10pm. The bath was great, as was the balcony. The room was well maintained. overall an enjoyable experience, as usual
