The apartment was beautiful with the views I requested, many thanks for that, I will be highly recommending Quay West Suites to my family and friends, also to my sons hockey team who travel to Sydney to play league games from time to time, the service was excellent, and the personal touch of my request to welcome my family from the UK, was the tray of Australian goodies, thank you so much we loved it, yes we will be coming back to this apartment in the near future.

We love staying at Quay West, something we do at least once a year, more often if we can. The views are amazing. Staff are excellent. Apartment very comfortable and clean. Would love to have a 3BR apartment available though! Only disappointment was that the bar and restaurant were closed on Sunday / Monday.

First rate! A stunning view of the Opera house and Harbour Bridge. We watched as the Sydney Ferries performed an elegant Ballet as they arrived and departed from their respective wharves. If only someone could put their “ dancing” to music, we are sure that visitor numbers to Sydney would soar even higher. The friendly service by all of the staff that we met cannot be too highly praised. Edward ( the Consierge ) knows that we still have $A26 left on our Opal Card which we have been told is valid for nine years, so we WILL BE BACK!!

Overall our stay was very positive. The apartment was clean and tidy, and was very spacious. Check-in was quick. Location was very central to everything we needed. The only concerns we had were things like the air conditioner being very temperamental - the lounge room had to be set to 5 degrees for the bedroom air conditioner to be cold enough to sleep (if the lounge room was higher, it didn't matter that we had the bedroom set to 5 degrees!). There was no price list for the mini bar provided for the first 2 days, housekeeping obviously noted and corrected this later in our stay. There was no guide to Quay West - therefore we didn't know any details of the location of the pool, it's opening hours, or details for the restaurant/bar, etc. We would definitely be happy to stay at Quay West again in the future.

The Harbour views from this hotel are hard to beat. From our room we could see the bridge,circular quay and the opera house. The only issue we had was the AC not responding when we adjusted the wall however once we alerted the staff it was immediately resolved. The breakfast was great as was the coffee, they maybe could have had one more waiter and they wouldn’t have been so busy. Room were nice, they are almost due for an update but who goes to Sydney to stay in the room. Overall we had a great time and would 100% stay here again.

Nice vacation, although facilities in the apartment were not quite as successful, with,for instance, the oven refusing to function.....the position of the hotel, and our superb views, compensated to a great extent.

Apartment was very conveniently located and furbished for a family of 4. Some inconvenient situations happened during our stay, A/C went down during the day with 29 deg inside apartment when back inside, fridge forgotten to be refurbished, same for shower gel/shampoo. Breakfast is not worth it, pastries outdated, and make to order dishes very average. Altogether we enjoyed our stay as location beat everything with young children. Apartment facilities with laundry is a big + with young kids. Service needs improving. I would come again if price / value ratio can improve.

Quay West is ideally situated for access to all the key attractions and transportation options to maximise your stay in Sydney. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. Having the washing machine and tumble dryer in the room is a great benefit. The team are very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We arrived around 7am and Edward arranged for us to be able to shower and change and make the most of the morning until our room was available later. Edward also helped with information about local transportation we made full use of our Opal cards to go to Manley, Coogee, Bondi and the Sydney Cricket ground. This is our second visit and we will definitely return on our next trip. Thank you for a great stay.

Unfortunately whilst the hotel is situated in what would be a much sought after location by the harbour bridge and Circular Quay, it is currently within close proximity to a building under redevelopment and road works. The construction noise from both were virtually incessant with work continuing until the small hours or overnight as well as throughout the day. Whilst this was not the fault of the hotel, no warning or notice of these long term works was provided. A change of room would not have improved the situation

I am a regular weekly customer. It was my first visit for 2019. Check in is seamless. However, There was no welcome water / platter in my room on arrival. There was no shower cap. Little things like this demonstrate that standards are slipping and it is not the same facility or service as it was 3 years ago.

We were greeted warmly on arrival by the concierge and reception staff; our room was above expectations as we had lovely water views overlooking Barangaroo and also a view of the Harbour Bridge. We were then delightfully surprised with a complimentary bottle of Bubbles and a hand written note offering congratulations and best wishes for happy 50th Wedding Anniversary. Breakfast was delicious; and the only negative during our stay was that the lift call buttons were out of order on Sunday morning, but the staff did their utmost to mitigate any inconvenience by doing their best to send up the lift as soon as possible and thus the wait time was not that long. All in all, our experience was REALLY GOOD!
