Good size, well equipped apartment. Great for family with television in both rooms. Pool and spa temperature was perfect! View was outstanding, especially during vivid.

Excellent room , everything we needed...disappointed we could not get a harbour view room...I feel city view not the best description as all you can see is tall buildings. Our grateful thanks to Joshua (Front desk) who endeavoured and succeeded in resolving the problem of cigarette smoke coming through the air conditioning on two occasions.

This is the most sensational place to stay. View is right in the middle of the Sydney Harbour and Opera House. One take 3 minutes to walk to Circular Quay. If you only do it once - Do it. They have some great little packages available too. We even had a $1 full breakfast each day which I could not fault. We stayed from 12.6.2018 until 15.6.2018 for the Vivid light festival and have done so for the past 6 years. We don't stay anywhere else.

« Worth it for the view »

I specifically booked a 1 bedroom apartment with harbour view and that was what I got, the view was magnificent. The apartment was spacious and very clean if a little dated. The staff I met were very friendly and professional although they could do with another staff member in the breakfast area. I have two negatives, firstly sachets of Nescafe Gold are not what I would call 4 star coffee. Most quality hotels now supply a pod coffee maker or at a minimum coffee bags or ground coffee and a plunger (plunger was supplied but I did not byo coffee). Secondly I found out at the end of my stay I could have had a coffee for free from the bar, I was not aware of this because there was no information about hotel facilities in my room. I even asked at reception and was told the information had been removed from rooms. It could have been available via the TV screen in the room, but some form of information should be available to guests without them having to ask specific questions of staff relating to access to each facility e.g. coffee, pool, viewing deck.

« Great views, slightly old »

Desk staff were helpful. The room had great views of the harbour and was amazing to see the vivid lights from the lounge. The swimming pool was pretty and had a little splash area for my toddlers to play in. However, the toilet was old and the flush seemed to get stuck and the water ran. The toilet and the kitchen could do with a face lift. And I guess it isn’t quite a hotel but it was quite suprising to see a shaver and toothbrush set on the minibar.

« Needs to lift it’s game »

To put it simply the Quay West is average at best. We had a terrible experience at breakfast where no service was visible at all which wasn’t great. Overall Accor needs to be better in managing this property in all areas.

« Great location & good sized rooms for family stay »

We decided to stay last minute for one night to see Vivid, and having stayed at Quay West before we knew the location was excellent and the one bedroom apartments were large enough for a family of 4. We had a great experience, access to the hotel was easy and with concierge parking it was good to be able to drop our car at the door and take our bags straight into the hotel (without having to park and cart the bags to the hotel from a parking station). Overall we had a great time and wished we could have stayed longer.

Together with my daughter and granddaughter we experience a wonderful stay with Quay West Suites, Sydney. We booked into a harbour view room which was amazing. Watching the Vivid lights at night and the beautiful harbour during the day. Staff were helpful and friendly at all times and the room was maintained in a clean and neat manner, as expected. However, we did feel that staff in the restaurant at breakfast were overwhelmed at times. A few more staff members would have solved this problem.

« We keep coming back for the unbeatable view and the great facilities. »

Having stayed at Quay West in the past it’s hard to consider going anywhere else. We are generally a mixed family group, sometimes four generations, and the apartment format with self catering works well. The beds are very comfortable, and we certainly make the most of all the facilities, including the beautiful pool. This time the heating didn’t work so we had cold air blowing on us throughout the first night. This was remedied as soon as we reported it next morning but in retrospect we probably should have mentioned it earlier as we all went home with colds.

« Disappointing stay »

5 ladies booked into a 2 bedroom apartment with Harbour Views to celebrate a friends special birthday Arrived at 5pm. at 6:45pm rang reception to report toilet in main bathroom not working. A gentleman arrived and checked toilet and said that unfortunately it could not be fixed that evening. We left for dinner. The next morning we discovered that the shower in the main bathroom was not working so 5 ladies had to que and wait to use the small toilet and then take turns showering. Not a nice way to spend a morning. We informed staff at Checkout and was told that GM not available. I was disappointed and would have expected a follow up call with some compensation offer in lieu. Perhaps this email survey is the follow up call? I hope so.
