Excellent service but terrible rooms. Planned to stay for 4 nights in a park view room. Arrived to find car parking easy and service polite. However that was the end to the good experience. The elevator and hallways were dirty. The room had water damage, smelled mouldy and was dark. The sheets didn’t quite cover the bed on one side. The view of the park was nice, however the window didn’t let in enough light. Disappointing, we didn’t stay. Found an alternative hotel nearby for a similar price.

Overall this was an amazing 5 days away for my birthday. there were a few small issues: Ordered Ice buckets as there is no room in the fridge to store cold drinks and no sink area to throw some ice in and store drinks to keep them cold. I like ALL my drinks cold, water, soda water, champagne etc. For a jnr suite you need to put in a larger fridge or 2 fridges. On my bday i had 3 guests over and waited 3 hours for ice buckets to cool my drinks so i can pop open the champagne to celebrate. This appeared to be compensated at the time which i am very thankful for. on day 3 we requested the room to be made up while we were out and the room was only partially made up and the bathrobes were not replaced. Even after i called down to get them replaced, they never arrived. Next day housekeeping did a better job making up the room - replacing only one bathrobe so my partner didn't have one. Coffee pods were not replaced and we love our morning coffees. Overall a great stay, I just wanted to point out a few small issues. Given it was a weekend i am sure it was very busy, I wanted to give a huge shout out to the room service manager who was always very polite and obliging with my ice buckets and delivering our meals - i am sure he was glad to see the back of me. :) noting the ie buckets were to also store non alcoholic drinks so they were nice and cold. Enjoyed a few beautiful sunsets by the pool which i love the rooftop there. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Hotel is well located to the Museum for shows, hence our selection. After our first night of two, we left the room at 8.30 AM & placed the 'Please make up my room' sign on the door. We returned at 2.30 PM to find the sign missing and no service had occurred - bed unmade & wet towels on the floor in bathroom. A call to reception was met with an indignant response: 'You want your room done now...just new towels?' The room was attended to without further ado, & the housekeeper prominently displayed a 'Go Green' sign at the bottom of the bed! We had dinner at the ground floor restaurant. the barman was great, & food good, however the waitress service was very poor. She delivered the incorrect bottle of wine & poured it, this was corrected without fuss as expected. When she came with the main course, she hadn't cleaned up the entree plates, so used the dinner plates to push them to the centre of the table & went to leave, I had to ask to kindly remove the dirty dishes! Not really the service I expected from a Pullman.

Poorly maintained fixtures

I found the Staff and location to be excellent. What is letting this Hotel down is its maintenance of fixtures. For example, stained and damaged walls, cracked and woefully repaired Bathroom vanity and tiles, soiled shower curtain- I managed to clean it myself, don’t know the Cleaners could not have managed this? Also, Minibar was not replenished. The whole place just felt shabby. On the positive, the Bed was excellent and view is quite good. Overall I would struggle in rating this Hotel above 3.5 star.

It was sadly only a one night stay , no real complaints. Only that there was things left on the floor behind the bathroom door , and some hair in the bath. The room was comfortable , and not noisy. Will be back
