« Great views. »

It was a nice experience. We had a work function near by as the main reason for our staying , check in and check out was flawless . We really appreciate the upgrade as the room had superb views of Hyde Park. We would've like to stay longer and try the restaurant and the bar, perhaps next time. The only comment I would like to make is that your staff needs to smile more and speak more clearly. It was difficult to understand the lady at the checkout desk. Thanks

We found attentive, pleasant staff. Our room was clean, comfortable and cared for. The view was great (15th floor). Unfortunately the TV needed some “switch fiddling” to get it to work. The smaller button the toilet needs to be fixed- these were minor matters.

Very pleasant and relaxing stay we enjoyed our complimentary wine followed by pool/spa. Room service and reception very helpful. We are booked in again for new years and look forward , will spend our day at darling harbor as i was told hotel doesn't any new years function on at the hotel, hopefully will happen in future...

This is my second stay at the Pullman - the first was in July this year. My wife and I arrived early on Friday for our Wedding Anniversary weekend without kids. Reception was quick and friendly, they were expecting us and early check-in was no problem. Our room had been splendidly decorated, with a cake and chilled bubbles waiting for us. Staff had also hand-written an anniversary card for us - very special. The room was on the 17th floor and the views were amazing out towards the harbour and Eastern suburbs. It was very clean and tidy, a large high-definition digital TV is a new addition since my last stay. The bed was so comfortable, as were the pillows - best nights sleep in ages. We used the rooftop pool every day and in December, it's a welcome respite. The location is very handy - walking distance to the CBD shops, museums and train stations. We didn't eat on site this trip, but previously I had tried the buffet breakfast and it was very good. I would definitely stay here again. Checkout was simple, with no surprises - thanks Irina for looking after us so well

« Lovely hotel, no hot water »

It was all fine - except there was no hot water for my shower in the morning (and also my vegetarian pasta tasted a bit bland and watery). I didn't have time to get the shower fixed - but the front desk staff were very apologetic and gave me some wine.

Always good. We always request room 1017 and our only concern is always a difficulty in switching on the TV. Your concierge had a problem assisting us with it on the latest stay. That won't deter us from requesting 1017 again.

Overall very disappointing experience for a star hotel. I was woken up many times at night for a week because of the sound of elevator going up and down. I have never had this kind of experience in any other hotel. One of my colleagues was asking me why I didn’t ask for a room change. Well, I was too lazy and tired because of the jet lag to ask for a change. I was at the bar one night and was surprised to see that they only had one type of red wine (Shiraz). Why have a bar if you only have one type of red wine? I wouldn’t call the employees at the hotel very friendly, especially at the restaurant during breakfast. When I checked out, they didn’t even ask me about my stay which is typical even in low end hotels. The room and bath were quite good and view was great. The breakfast was also very good. I unfortunately will not recommend this hotel to my colleagues.

Good experience until we got in the room. The disabled toilet was not good. The shower was hopeless. We would stay here again but ask for a different room. The staff were very pleasant anh helpful.

Overall was very happy, the service was excellent rooms were lovely beds were comfy and the only negative feedback is the tv, terrible service 9/10 very couldn’t get channel 9,10 or 7 for a 5 star restaurant in as a little disappointed that this wasn’t available or Foxtel, also no wifi . I also believe a room book would be handy

The Housekeeping was a bit sporadic in that the newspaper never arrived, the water bottles reappeared some days and not others, but generally the breakfast were good and hearty albeit it repetitive after 5 days. The vent management was OK, with them often times being difficult to find when needed. However, the overall experience was positive and we'd return again.

Did not feel valued as an Accor member or guest. Booked for 2 nights though separate bookings as plans changed. I flagged this by phone before arrival and again at check in however our keys were cut for one night only and we were rung twice and door knocked once on our first morning to ask why we hadnt checked out yet. Mini-bar not restocked on our arrival but refused this service (another intrusion) as already in the bath. I have since been charged for items i didnt consume. I havent been provided an invoice for such either even though I explained on check out this concern about being charged for other people's consumption. No welcome snack on check in - provided later on day 1 and overnight day 2. Further intrusions. Aircon in room didnt work. I was called Ms, Mrs and Mr!! Gender pronouns are irrelevant but stick to one. My preference is Miss BTW, not that my marital status is any of the hotel's damn business. Furniture was orange and foam, seemed cheap and was uncomfortable . Was not pleased with this stay at all. Was not provided a 5 star service. Will not stay at Pullman again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The location is handy, check in and check out process was seamless and I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. I also really liked the selection of pillows and bedding.

pleasant- staff were helpful at reception, bar....however breakfast was a whole other experience. When we got to breakfast the welcome staff were lovely. We ordered our eggs, mine came out straight away, however the other couple we were there with- her eggs ( room 1211) didnt come out same or similar time (we ordered them together). She had to go and ask about there 3 time, each time being told its a min away. Finally, the staff came up and said they cant do poached egg or something like that and offered her scrambled egg-that took another 5 mins. Juice was a issues... we asked 3 staff for juice as there was only limited apple juice and NO orange juice. Our used plates were piling up and not collected....making it a very limited space to have breakfast. I think you need more staff during the breakfast run..... I think that is the key to improving the quality and experience of breakfast time.
