Overall I had a wonderful stay at the Pullman and was made to feel most welcome. The Executive Lounge is still not available due to renovations, however level 1 restaurant staff did all they could to make guests feel welcome and looked after our needs well. Compliments to all.

It was a little underwhelming. We weren't informed that the Executive lounge was being renovated - before we had added it to the stay. So the first time trying to find the "lounge" that we were told was on level 1, we couldn't access because there was a function. Very confusing. We were simply told to come back for drinks & canapes later in the evening - fine. That's not a 24hr access lounge. Then realised it was just the regular hotel restaurant for breakfast etc. Certainly not Executive, not 24hrs, & not a lounge. Very disappointed. The service otherwise was fine - but had it been explained at check-in about the renovation...it would have helped alot! Not to mention the drills above our head in the morning. I was trying to create a certain ambience for a holiday with 3 generations..it didn't happen. Pullmans elsewhere have been wonderful. We tolerated an all night party in a room next door to us, known to staff. We did have to ask multiple times for our pre-booked rollaway to be brought into the room, after arrival, and for the additional towels etc. The bathroom setup could be improved. As i said, it was underwhelming. Not what i expected from a Pullman. I hope things can improve, it's a great location, with great rooftop facilities. Cafe 36 also filled a gap with the missing lounge, but at an additional cost. Unfortunately they had appliances breaking down on them also. Pullman Sydney, quit the DJ & put money into the bricks & mortar. Are you a club or a hotel?

« I will not choose to stay with Pullman again »

I am very disappointed with Pullman, how they tried to overcharge me without any investigation. Bad customer service. I stayed for 4 nights, they claimed I double booked one night and then they charged me that one night with full rate when it was supposed to be the same rate with the other nights. I work for a large company that uses this hotel but I will definitely not recommend Pullman.

Overall experience good - unsure if meals/drinks at Café & Bar 36 on Sunday night 26 November 2017 were discounted as per AccorHotels Membership that accommodation had been booked in. Would appreciate your feedback on this query.

My Room ( ruined furniture/for 5 star I would expect better in condition) wasn't that welcome as was room in Pullman in Olympic Park which I visited in March this year. Welcome reception, great, but when I access my room and wanted to order my food I couldn't find any phone number where I need to call. I had to back to reception, there were busy than I accessed restaurant and they ordered food for me. There was no spirit in room bar, they have spirit in Olympic park. At breakfast I was missing more fresh vegetable or salad, I couldn't see any. As a single visitor they couldn't find any suitable table for me. Most of the position in restaurant I didn't like it. The rest was OK, thank you

Poor service on arrival - great service on departure. As Accor Silver members the service on arrival was slow and poor. Priority service did not occur despite the fact that while we were second to arrive at overall counter but in Priority line, a high maintenance customer took considerable time and when another receptionist finally came on duty she took from the non priority queue and we were served 8th. Secondly, when trying to get attention to a TV at reception (after phone was not answered) there were three staff attending to one customer - while this for that person is no doubt fantastic, it leaves a very poor customer service impression to those of us waiting. Departure could not be faulted with Kevin's personal efficient and attentive service - this is the model of service that should be normal. Room great after TV fixed. Breakfast and service at breakfast great.

The room was great the view amazing, the service appalling... I checked in late at night under emergency circumstances , at check in I asked about room service the attendant said yes call when u get to the room, just don't trash it... mind you I was dressed in Calvin Klein and carrying an oroton over night bag hardly someone that would trash anything, then when I got to room. I looked for the room service menu and there was non, I dialled reception no one answered, so I went to bed starving.--- on check out they asked about mini bar, there was non existent and then I was I charged for it

we were upgraded to Executive status only to find that the Executive room was closed for maintenance and no access was possible. Whilst they did still offer pre-dinner canapes in Windows, the fare was minimal and certainly wouldn't have been worth paying extra. The original room allocated to us had been recently painted and within ten minutes I had a chemical headache. I decided to upgrade to a suite with fresh air access...saved the stay...the room was fine but the $70 extra rankled somewhat...

Very pleasant, the staff where very friendly and helpful. We notice a lot of hotels now are not providing a top sheet, only a doona, why, they are heavy and hot, therefore we have the air conditioner turned down to cool the room, using more electricity. Our simple request is for our rooms to always have a top sheet. Thanks.

This hotel is in a wonderful location in Sydney. Right on Hyde park, easy access to the city, nightlife and transportation. The staff are great. My room was newly refurbished and well presented.
