I requested a quiet room as I am a light sleeper. really enjoyed my stay. As requested I was in a very quiet room and not troubled by the noise of the air/con or the refrigerator. Well done Pullman. I will certainly stay there again.

Enjoyed room but breakfast and dinner not up to Pullman standards. the food was not as described cold bacon and no mushrooms at breakfast . The dinner was poor with no potato bake and just 4 tiny tomatoes . will not stay there again . The barman was super Paul Williams , nothing was too much trouble .

This was my second time staying at the Pullman and unfortunately I've been dissatisfied both times - based on this I wouldn't choose to stay again. My first stay, my partner and I had booked room service for sometime in the morning, however as we were jet lagged we woke up at 2am and had a lot of hours to kill lying awake. During this time I repeatedly rang the front desk, house keeping and every number possible to ask to have our room service pushed forward to an earlier time slot so we could get up and leave earlier than we had planned, but the phone just rang out all morning. When I mentioned this at checkout, I was given no explanation or apology, more or less a shrug. Also, during the same stay there my partner ordered me the 'cocktail of the day' at the hotel bar, when the barman said he thought I 'wouldn't like it' and he could make something 'much better'. He then proceeded to make me a really average mojito and charged us handsomely for a drink I never even asked for. Simply because he couldn't be bothered, or didn't have the ingredients to make me a drink that was advertised on the bar in front of us. Again, no explanation given. My second visit just recently, my first interaction at check in with a gentleman was for him to snap rudely at me 'Do you have a reservation with us?' after I'd arrived at the desk quite tired and frazzled and was trying to explain that my stay had possibly been booked under my partner's name instead of mine. I paid $65 for valet parking, and was told to give 15 minutes notice the next morning before I needed my car. At checkout the following day, at 8am, I requested for my car to be ready at 9am so I could leave immediately to make an important appointment an hour away. I went to breakfast, and returned to collect my luggage at the front desk and wait for my car at the front of the hotel at 8:50am. After 15 minutes had passed and my car was no where in sight, my sister returned to the front desk to the same staff member who had booked in my request, and returned my luggage just 15 minutes prior (with me assuming the car was on its way at that stage), who said she had 'forgotten' to let valet parking know. By the time my car arrived it was almost 9:15 and I was running really late for my appointment. Hardly an apology given, and I was very late and stressed driving through Sydney traffic to make it somewhere on time. I also found the breakfast experience frustrating and to be honest just lazy and lack lustre. I spent most of the time at the coffee machine, trying to pour myself and my family members a coffee alongside about three other guests, each of us asking for help from the food attendant who kept huffing and muttering to himself about it just cleaning and ignoring us while we stood there for around 15 minutes trying to get the machine to work (it wasn't cleaning, he just couldn't be bothered to fix it for us). I gave up in the end, and returned to eat my now cold breakfast. Most of the staff were standing around chatting, seemed completely idle and lazy. I've had better customer service any day of the week in a regular cafe, where at least I can get a decent cup of coffee and service with a smile. The rooms are incredibly dated and uninspiring, and nothing much to see. In summery, I have rarely felt the urge to even submit feedback for a place I've stayed and I'm not hard to please at the best of times. Unfortunately the weekend just passed was a very special occasion and a treat from myself for my mum and sister and I was pretty embarrassed and annoyed by most of my interactions with the staff and the sloppy service you provide for your guests. I won't be back.

As an Accor staff member and an Accor loyalty member I expected a much more better experience to feel like a valuable part of the Accor family. There was no part of our experience that's made us feel like there was any value in being a loyalty member. It was very disappointing . The room was subpar house keeping good but the breakfast was another big disappointment.the amount it cost us to buy the breakfast we could buy a couple similar breakfasts elsewhere.very disappointing. There is really ALOT I can say but all in all being a part of Accor loyalty at Pullman's Sydney is not in anyway different or worth it

Booked on line but on arrival there was no booking. You double charge for the first night. A $75 mini bar bill which was incorrect as we don't use the mini bars in hotels. Overall your booking/accounting system needs to be reviewed.

Our flight was delayed five hours and then Jetstar lost our luggage so we didn’t have any of our bags! The gentleman Mohammed I think his name was checked us in and kindly gave us toothbrushes. Ashley was outstanding, what a lovely young woman she is! She gave us an upgrade and arranged a cheese platter in our room on arrival which was exactly what we needed as we skipped dinner due to our late flight. She even offered to lend her personal straightener as my girl friend didn’t have one and we were meant to attend a wedding. The next day, the concierge team worked hard to keep us updated on our baggage location. Overall everyone was upset friendly and helpful! Will definitely be back!

Room upgraded - nice but I chose the room I did because I hate shower curtains Lifts are painfully slow ideal location close to trains and buses Great value breakfast for $1 really enjoyed fresh cooked eggs Room was not serviced on the Friday so left with no clean towels and no toilet paper ): The worst ever experience was to be woken at 2 a.m. by a domestic in the room next door, yelling, swearing, things hitting the wall. I tried to call reception and had no dial tone on phone, it was terrifying. I have to commend the security though, they attended very quickly and got things under control quickly and quietly. Very disappointed the hotel did not make any contact to check that guests were okay and to be told the situation was under control. I did not go back to sleep that night. Bottles not removed from room on Saturday. Not sure what the $6 charge to my credit card on leaving is - nothing taken from the fridge?

disappointed in the décor of the room and bathroom. the foyer was rather garish too. The towels were not soft and there was no vanity set in the bathroom. Room service club sandwich was very poor. the toast was not toasted and there was no salt and pepper on the tray. Additionally despite the price in the room service ,menu we were charged an extra $5 to have room service. Altogether disappointing for a 5 star hotel. The experience was saved by the staff who were excellent. Check in, valet parking, concierge and reception staff were all excellent, friendly and helpful. Our room had a great view.

« Lovely stay but could be improved »

We had a lovely stay for 2 nights. Our room was a good size and we appreciated our upgrade to a room which had a view of the park. I also saw that rooms on the opposite side of the hall were bright and sunny in the morning which is great and would be good to note in the room descriptions. I assume many have good views over Darlinghurst too. Some parts of the room seemed quite dated (phone next to toilet, styling in bathroom) but overall it had a modern feel and lots of amenities. PowerPoints or usb charging points on the bedsides would be great. The lack of a good coffee option in the room was disappointing (only Nescafé Blend 43 sachets). The bed was very comfortable. Parking was good quality compared to other places in Sydney but the ticket machine was broken both days on entry and the price seemed a bit high. The pool and rooftop amenities were really nice and the views from there and from the lift lobbies are fantastic. Great location for the city or for walking through the gardens and down to Circular Quay and close to Museum station which is great. We would consider staying again in future as overall it was a good place to stay.

Every part of the stay was excellent. Great facilities and location. Only negative was the room cupboard which kept coming off the tracks. It was fixed immeadiately it was reported. Would definitely stay again.
