Overall good. However, we found the seating in the bar area unsatisfactory. Even though there were plenty of seats the majority were centred on large tables that meant people felt uncomfortable trying to join that table or gain a seat

We booked 3 rooms several weeks in advanced and confirmed they'd all be next to each other. Upon check-in, they'd made a mistake and booked us on different levels. Some of our credit cards were charged incorrect room fees and also mini bar. The whole operations of the hotel was woeful. Very disappointed and won't be staying there again I'm afraid!

Overall I’d like to commend the service offered by all staff. From check in there was a little misunderstanding with the original booking but staff were working to assist us (brilliant). Staff at the restaurant were extremely helpful. As a member the service standard is high , I’m happy but had to distinguish the difference a member my get. Improvement, when we stayed at Novotel South Wharf we had water provided in our room. We didn’t have any in room on arrival and asked but it wasn’t in room each day thereafter. Also not sure I received Accor points for 3 rooms booked and paid for as it looks like 2 rooms only. Overall great service and would stay again.

Roon service menu VERY average after 10:00pm - extremely off point for a major international hotel in a major international city,; mismatched glassware at the bar; and TV channels not all working.

Hot tub on top floor was not running hot. Stay in room with spa bath, spa jets did not work. These were two of the main reasons for booking this hotel and room for a stay. Was disappointing after staying in the Adelaide Pullman a few months prior and having a great stay.

A great stay although very brief , only 3 nights . Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Great pool on the roof . Really good location close to FABTASTIC cafes and restaurants. Walking distance to the city and botanical gardens . My fav hotel in Sydney.

Lovely friendly staff and excellent service. Comfortable, spacious rooms overlooking Hyde Park or East Sydney with all the fascinating rooftops, gardens and terrace houses. Very convenient for transport from Oxford St to city CBD and other destinations, including Bondi. Our favourite hotel in Sydney.

I was disappointed by the staff assigned at the priority lane

Everything else was good. It’s just that disappointing experience with the Asian lady who’s in charge of the priority lane. She doesn’t seem to know and was literally blank in some requests I phoned for. I asked for late checkout and immediately said its chargeable without even trying her best given that I’m a Silver Accor member. She eventually gave me 2pm after explaining repeatedly to her. I also called one time and asked her something and she said She’ll check and come back to me which she never did. I eventually went down and asked another person. And since I saw her there too I couldn’t help myself to ask her if she was still in training and i would understand but she said she was not. I just think she shouldn’t be handling the priority line or helping priority customers. This trip was a miss for me even though the location was a really good one.

Maintenance could be better

Our junior suite overall space was great with a good view over Surry Hills. However, on arrival we noticed a few loose hooks and brackets in the bathroom. A maintenance guy appeared shortly after our request, but didn’t fix the problem, in fact he took one hook away. So ... tired bathroom, lifts under repair, an overall impression that the hotel is feeling a bit tired.

I really enjoyed staying at Pullman Sydney Hyde Park, rooms were clean and comfortable. I loved the view over Hyde Park. Breakfast was fantastic and would have been made that little bit better if you had lactose free milk.
