Couldn't sleep as room wasn't soundproof and faced the street (with garbage collections regularly through the night). But it also took 20 minutes to check out due to an incorrect bill and repeated untrue statements from multiple staff members.

I am so sorry to hear that you were not able to have a great night sleep, we will ensure that you will not be allocated to that room again. As for the charges, I understand that there was a significant confusion as to what charge was going through to the account due to a system error. Ideally this should have never happened and last thing we want you to feel is 'taken advantages' as that is not something we do here at Lindrum. I am extremely disappointed to read that feedback. We will ensure this won't happen again to anyone and I am so sorry this has occurred to you. I have been an Accor member for many years and remain so because of the standard of accommodation and the great service provided. We consider that we live in 5 star accommodation so staying in your hotels is as good as being at home. The Lindrum gave me that standard. I will come again.

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was great as were the rooms. The hotel is located near to the centre of Melbourne, so convenient for restaurants and site seeing.

« The hype was not met »

While we enjoyed the size and the amenities of our room we were disappointed to see that the decor was tired and showing its age. The light beside our bed constantly flickered, the refrigerator door did not close correctly and the drapes and furnishing were showing wear. Despite our request our plunger coffee was not delivered to our room. And the phone charger that was accidentally left behind still has not arrived to our postal address despite calling reception and requesting it be sent.

It was OK but, but I'm a light sleeper, who normally lives on a 40-acre farm, as I explained to the hotel. My room window was only a few metres from a multi-storey carpark so I found it difficult to sleep.

We loved our stay at the Hotel Lindrum - it was within an easy walking distance of everywhere we were wanting to go, great coffee, very friendly and accommodating staff and a comfortable and cosy lobby space. The hotel room was much bigger than we expected and the bed was divine. My only recommendation is that the room only has one tv - as when you try to change the channel on one it often changed the channel on the other tv, but not the one you wanted. It was a bit confusing but hilarious!

« I won't look anywhere else in Melbourne to stay, other than Hotel Lindrum »

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we will continually book this hotel in the future. A beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the city close to all attractions. Also, it's in the perfect position for restaurants/cafes with many within a 5 minute walk from this hotel. I also have to make a special mention of all the staff - who are always polite, courteous, accommodation and hospitable. The most friendly staff I have ever come across at a hotel

It was a lovely stay ... the sweet anniversary message and desserts were a nice touch. Having the bed turned down was also lovely. The building is beautiful however it’s looking a little tired... the bathroom had mould in the grout, ceiling fan had dust clumps hanging off it, carpet had stains ... the buildings features are very appealing but the amenities let the experience down a little.
