Staff at the bar are bored of their work, don't seem to have miminum hospitality attitude. Very poor hospitality.

This was my 2nd time. Hospitality redefined. Am extremely unhappy that I didn’t include breakfast in my package. Your breakfast looked very good. Only thing I did not like is the designing of the room in which I stayed. The basin counter was outside the wash area which is not very preferred and the air conditioning was not chilling. Overall, a good stay.

It's a great property in the heart itself. The staff is always smiling and really helpful...Specially the front desk manager Karen Wu (always keeps smiling and in helpful and all possible ways). The ambiance is great for all the places.. Food really good and again Pradeep (the restaurant manager) is the person to be applauded as he's very friendly and makes the other person feels comfortable ... stayed in the property for 4 times since March 2018 and every time the experience was above excellence....

Our experience was very good as always for the service (especially Roger) who goes above and beyond, rooms, food but only problem this time was the Buffet dinner, seemed without the same care and attention as we have experienced in the past, many food items were not to "temperature" which is very risky for a large hotel ? Food quality and preparation was not to usual standard. We were very disappointed We also had dinner at the Italian restaurant which was excellent. We are booking again soon and have VIP guests/clients with us so we hope it is improved

« Opulent décor, real touch of french elegance! »

Definitely, it is the best Sofitel I have ever stayed in terms of interior design and quality! Each of the 4 different themes is unique and truly beautiful. I will say even most of the Ritz-Carlton have this standard of furnishing! The staffs are also friendly and very professional. The Lounge staff can remember your name. I'd like to give especial thanks to Season Tang who assist me a lot before and during the stay. But the food of the lounge is so so, there is not any hot food, just some fruits and snacks. And it seems Accor is not generous to their Platinum member to have upgrade, at least not as generous as Marriott or Hilton who will give the available suite to their Platinum/ Diamond member in most case!

I’ve a pleasant and a memorable stay. Junior suite(Neo Chinese) was a nice, clean and spacious. I would like to recognise Paul Lin for his time to show us (me and my husband) around the hotel rooms and the Napoleon Grand Ballroom. The Napoleon Grand Ballroom is gorgeous and we love it. Thank you for a warm hospitality from Karen Wu. We would like to say thank you to Jan(Reception), Victoria, Vivian, Gloria and Emma (Club Millesime) for looking after us. They’re all an asset to the hotel. Definitely recommended. Looking forward to come back next time.

At time of check out I wanted to pay in cash. I was then told the hotel does not accept dollars. However, they did take dollar as a deposit. I ended up settling the hotel bill with the credit card, reluctantly. I should have been notified at time of check in, when they took the dollar deposit, that upon check out I need to settle my bills in RMB

You have a great hotel, amazing design, art pieces everything, surprises here and there and good looking people but you need a strong guest service team, particularly concierge/bell services. We were a party of 7 on business trip. Upon arrival, the guys had no idea which luggage belong to who. Then what's the point of offering luggage service? In the end, all luggage was sent to one room after one hour. Upon departure, luggage was not taken down to 1st floor after we went outside for 2 hours. Had to go back to skylobby and retrieve on our own. The arrival and departure experience totally ruined the whole experience. The French restaurant buffee was ok however the bar on the 60th floor had terrible service. We were sitting on rooftop. After we finished our first drinks, no one, literally no one came to us and offered additional drinks. At least someone should have walked around. We were talking and couldn't step inside to order drinks. It was just the service that fell apart.
