Experienced for the first time in my life being discriminated by staff at the dinner restaurant. I spent two hours at a table assigned to me and the very same person who attended to me kept passing me by helping customers who just got there. I had to go directly to the chefs to place my order, that's when they attended to me.

« Dissappointing »

My experience was pretty poor, for a start the computers were down so none of the key cards worked, this resulted in having to find a member of staff to let me in to my room every time I needed to get in. It also resulted in cards not being accepted so cash was needed to pay for food in the bar. I can accept this might happen on the odd occasion and obviously I was just unlucky it happened during my stay. However, the worst thing about my stay was the noise, it made absolutely no difference to the noise levels in my room whether the window was opened or closed, this clearly shows that the windows are just so poor and poorly fitted that there is absolutely zero sound insulation from the outside. It was impossible to sleep.

really helpful staff who were friendly professional and gave great customer service. they were a credit to the hotel. you need to make sure cleaners can reach the top shower head as it was very scaly. otherwise perfect stay and love the new shower doors so much easier to use.

Excellent stay in this hotel, good location especially if you're at an event in the ExCel Centre. Well decorated, staff were very friendly and helpful in giving me all the information I would need concerning my stay. Rooms are ultimately basic Ibis but I only tend to use them to keep my luggage in and sleep so that's not a bother. The wardrobe/storage piece in my room was quite nice though. Only slight negative is it could have used a plug socket by the bed but I managed to bravely struggle through.

I found the rooms clean and comfortable, breakfast had a good range to choose from. The food in the pub was good although a bit expensive. £4 for a bottle of water is asking to much, also £15 for parking has made me think again about staying here.

Easy to get to our room. All staff were very helpful, able to leave bags with hotel for the day after checking out to collect later. Very easy. Only downsides would be the room was very cold and given 1 heater which was very warm but could not heat up our large "home from home" room. Also the breakfast came with the hotel. "Breakfast included" however I would rather the option to opt out of this and save us this money as I do not think a continental breakfast is worth £10 a day. Unlike the other ibis 2 minutes away offering a full English breakfast in a buffet style. This would have been much more acceptable.

Checkin was smooth and room was modern and clean. Work was going on to renovate the hotel so there was some noise during the day. Breakfast was good and despite being busy the staff replensished it well.

« Nice people but horrible room »

Check in was fine but the room was one of the worst I've ever stayed in. It was clean but smelt very bad - of poor drainage. It was almost unbearable to spend any time in the bathroom. Overall quite depressing. If the smell hadn't have been there, it was still a tiny room with nothing endearing about it at all. Thankfully I was only there to sleep and leave.

We stayed at the hotel as it was a short underground ride from the O2 where we had attended a concert. It was perfect for the short time we stayed in London and meant we had a good nights sleep before travelling home the next day.
