When we arrived the heating in our room did not work. Your management lent us a heater for the 3 nights but it was adequate. I asked for a newspaper in the morning but only managed to pick one up at breakfast on the first morning. The pub did not seem to be open on the Thursday evening. The breakfast was fine but the room was very noisy - bare floors and noisy chairs.

A great value hotel opposite the ExCel exhibition centre and Custom House DLR Station. The rooms are simply furnished, but spotlessly clean with comfortable bed and good shower. It was also very quiet for a city location, which was very welcome. The staff are friendly and courteous, and there is a bar on-site that serves good honest 'pub grub' at reasonable prices. A good place to stay for anyone attending shows at ExCel.

On arrival for a four night stay we were booked into a Duet room but had booked a queen room, complained and moved to a queen room. This room did not have a safe and was in the middle of rooms being refurbished, complained again and given another room. Tried to use the safe but it kept giving an error code and was not actually fixed in. We asked for this to be sorted but were told the person to sort it had gone home(it was around5.30pm) and was not back in until 7am the next morning. The following morning we again asked for it to be fixed but they were not yet in and told it would be fixed by the end of the day, so we ended up carrying our valuables with us again. On return that evening it had still not been fixed so complained again and were given the fourth room in two days. We packed and unpacked again, we had checked the safe before moving rooms which was fixed in and worked. We thought we were sorted but then discovered the hot water was not working after running it for five minutes. Complained at reception who sent up the maintenance man, he tried and said it wasn't right, checked next door then came back and ran the water again. After ten minutes it started to come hot but he said it shouldnT be like this and we would have wait until they could fix it properly but in the meantime we would have to run the water for ten minutes each time before we used it. We had to do this for the rest of our stay. The only plus point was the duty manager (whose name I do not know) who did his best to help.

Loved the nice clean bathrooms, however Hotel looked a little dated and felt a little well used, not what I'm used to with Ibis Styles however decent stay. Staff very helpful and pleasant.

Room and bed were really OK, bathroom even great compared to the Ibis' capsules. I do see area for improvement though for staff (this includes hotel's pub!) as well as breakfast room and breakfast itself.

Another comfortable stay at a Ibis. Helpful friendly staff and nice clean room. Only minor issue is the same every Ibis I have stayed at. The Lifts in the morning are slow due to the volume of people checking out.

To be honest, wasn't expecting a lot as price was so good but we were very happy and would definitely stay here again. Really useful having DLR opposite the hotel, and only took 15 mins to get into Central London. Staff were helpful, room was good, quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, lots of options. Overall we were very satisfied

Walking distance from DLR and Excel Centre, very helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, rooms comfy and adequate, but small but that's not a problem when you are only sleeping there!

The room was kept clean by the staff to an exceptional state, and the reception staff were extremely kind and friendly on check in and check out. However, the smell of vanilla that was covering up another smell in the lobby made many of my friends feel sick as they walked through to their rooms, and something in the room triggered my allergies and meant I couldn't breathe properly. The window also didn't seal properly meaning there was a freezing draft at night. Other than that though it was a nice stay.

Excellent service as usual, great breakfast with a variety of options. The is only issues found was the pillows we not very comfortable, feeling quite solid. The second being the wifi, when it worked was great but we spent most of the time having to reconnect as it would stop working or it removed itself completely.

Nice size room, compact ensuite with all you need and comfy bed. The long desk under the window was an added bonus. My room had a heater and as the air conditioning unit didn't heat the room (when set on heat and a reasonably high temp) so the staff pointed out the heater on the wall, which did a great job. Right across the pedestrian crossing from the DLR lift, so couldn't be handier for travel purposes

Bottle of water in bedroom which is always a good touch. Breakfast adequate but not outstanding. Would suggest more fruit and, as this is season for English apples, I was disappointed that the apples were not English. No handtowel provided. Sink very high and step into bathroom which could be problematic. There were drilling noises but as I understand hotel is being refurbished I assume this is a temporary problem. However, there was noise from outside which which is not satisfactory. Rather small television. I ate with friends in the Crown Pub and also had something in the café, so am able to say that your major asset is the friendly staff. I would particularly commend Sharriff on Reception.

The room was clean, cozy and comfortable. the personnel was kind, helpful and polite. There was some remodeling going on and therefore the hallway to the room was dusty and a construction zone. Also, there were a lot of people there from another convention (Comicon), and they were loud. Not the hotel responsibility, but did not help our stay. Breakfast was OK, nothing special abt it.
