This isn’t up to the Styles standard found on the continent. Breakfast was poor, didn’t even eat on my final morning as croissants, baguettes and pain au chocolate had run out. Bar was like a council estate pub. Air conditioner broken for 4th night. Very hot in bedroom.

Firstly impressed to be upgraded to an apartment. However the room, while clean, had a faulty wash basin plug and the hot water pressure was very poor. The TV was fine though the sky box was saying there was no broadband connection so only the aerial feed was working.

First of all,thanks for enquiring. When I arrived no one said « hello ».I had to say it first which is quite awkward as I am used to warm welcomes.Then,I was told that someone payed for me...He booked for me.It was quite rude. Throughout my stay no hellos,except from Zoltan.People in the pub were very kind and respectful,especially Wasseem and Emanuele(The young ladies were very kind too).At reception,after enquiring,they told me that I could pay for my meals when I checkout but at the pub,they said they should have told at the reception that I had to pay credits in advance (Once again,not used to that)but I paid all the time.I am not that fussy! On the last night,I asked for my free drink.I wanted a gin&tonic but I wasn’t allowed,so I got angry.I hate being taken for a free bank and I ripped the coupon and paid... The following morning,when I left,I had smiles and warm farewells.Hypocrits. I know you’re gonna apologize for it in a very kind way.And I know that Mr Olivier Renard won’t answer himself...Social comedy.I play the game without being a fool. I did not feel good in a hotel for the first time in my life. I hope this will change(I believe in miracles)in the future but I don’t feel I will book in an Ibis styles hotel in London anymore.This looked like an Ibis budget with an extra...A pub.I am still a customer even though I am not the one who booked(and,again,I PAYED for it!) Mostly good. The breakfast staff were cheerful and courteous. They were helpful. Reception staff were also good. I didn't have much contact with them. The waiting staff in the restaurant/pub were also courteous. There was something odd going on in the kitchen. It was closed suddenly IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SUPPER! I wasn't allowed to order a puddie. I wasn't allowed to have an explanation and think the chef just walked out. (I'm pretty sure this was on the Saturday evening.) Rest was good. Cheerful and helpful staff. The room was looked after well too.

Clean & comfortable accomodation and a reasonable price for London. Outlook and area not particularly attractive. Breakfast very basic but adequate. Shower cubicle in room small. Step up from room into bathroom hich can be a hazard for trips when using the bathroom particularly in the night with lights off

« My stay was fine. »

There was a little hiccup at the beginning with payment but the staff were extremely friendly and supportive and helped me to understand how payment actually works as I assumed the hotel had already been booked and was unaware that a reservation is not a booking at the Ibis. Checking out however could have been better, it is understandable that the hotel was busy but though the reception is small perhaps there could have been someone to assist queues and just make sure people were not blocking exists and overly crowding the space. It was a little chaotic and some guests were a little annoyed at how packed it was. If there are large groups maybe they could be told to wait in the other area. The room was extremely clean and the staff were very nice.

Excellent location for the 02 and right next to DLR Station. The room was OK. Few Staines on the carpet. Shower area was small. We stayed 2 nights and on the first morning we had no hot water so both had a cold shower. Staff nice and friendly. Overall I would stay here again if cheap enough.
