Good, food and comfortable beds. Odd policy on allowing guest cerial bowls in there room when they have an early start though. Can't believe the restaurant manager thought it would be dangerous.

This was a perfect place for a pre-Ride London stopover. It's on the doorstep of the Excel and only a three mile ride from the Olympic Stadium. Room was clean, bed comfortable and bathroom modern and very clean. No problem keeping bike in the room.

Love the hotel but used online check in for the first time and was charged £110 instead of the £84 my confirmation quoted. No response to a customer services email either. WITHOUT THIS I WOULD HAVE GIVEN A SOLID 9 OR 10.

I have stayed twice now with a baby. The hotel is clean, basic but meets needs a at good price. Unfortunately both times the experience was less positive from the same member of staff - I did not get her name but she was working on reception both times I have visited. Her attitude is very poor and she does not appear to enjoy her job or understand the needs of/how to talk to customers. On our first stay we had requested a travel cot on the booking (booking.com) and called before to check and ask it was in the room ready. On checking in, she said booking.com don’t pass information on and I would have spoke to someone in the Philippines, not the hotel, so said they had no knowledge that we needed a cot, and was none committal about when a cot would be brought up. This was at 8pm at night when I pointed it my baby needed to go to bed. When we got to the room one was already in there, so all was fine, just her having a poor attitude. The second and most recent trip we put it on the booking again (booking direct) and tried to call but no one answered. We asked at the desk and the helpful man said he would arrange one. However one did not arrive and the WhatsApp message was not immediately picked up so my partner went to enquire. The gentleman (Phillipe I think) again was helpful and trying to sort it but she was rude and told my partner there were no cots as we hadn’t put it on the booking, and then that we should have called. We had done both and this also contradicted what she had said last time! She had no understanding that it was past 9pm and our baby couldn’t go to bed and no customer services skills. The rest of the staff appeared embarrassed at her attitude and were very helpful and found us a cot. It is a shame as both times it hampered an otherwise positive experience. We have been staying to visit my sister with her family, and many other families are visiting her but this would put me off recommending it when I would otherwise. I also was planning to book an Accor hotel for our wedding later in the year but would not want an experience like that. For her it is clearly not a one off and she was observed talking to other customers in a similar manner. However I must note, all other staff were friendly and helpful, helping us at breakfast with a high chair and clean table, and Gemma on reception in the morning was lovely and compensated somewhat for the negative experience! Otherwise, the rooms are clean, breakfast is included and it’s good value.

I booked a mansion from home room as my partner and I am in a wheelchair and there was no disabled rooms available. When I asked them to change the sofa to a sofa bed they said they don’t think it is a bed so we checked leaving the seat cushion up we asked them to change it to a bed they said if it can be done they will, so we went to eat when we came back they said it was broken and cannot be done, now I and my partner are both wheelchair bound and would have appreciated the help but we did make it into a bed eventually but I was very disappointed that they lied to us as you could tell it was in working order.

Great location and awesome having an internal pub to relax in during the evening.

Friendly efficient reception staff and pub staff (and Leon the chef!). Lovely housekeeping staff. The refurb made for a nice room. Shower was hot and water plentiful. I would have appreciated the water provided to be one per person, and in a recyclable glass bottle rather than plastic. It was good to see the not-every-day washing of towels was encouraged. Breakfast was mixed: the fresh warmed baguettes and the cereal selection were good, though the juice was below par and the fresh fruit was fizzy (not a good sign of its freshness) The beds were super comfortable.

Very nice hotel with an own pub for the late night beer. Breakfast is enough and quickly refilled, Hotel is clean and staff very friendly and helpful. I miss a refrigerator in the room but I think that’s a feature reserved for the Novotel class. I would definitely book it again there.

Booked Room not Available so downgraded then noise outside all night long

Very poor. I arrived at the Hotel having booked an apartment to be told there were none available and I would be downgraded to a standard room. Had I known in advance that was the case I would have stayed somewhere else. Then my room overlooked the back of the hotel and was above the restaurant and there were two air-conditioning units which started making a terrible racket at about midnight which went on through the night. My air-conditioning unit in my room was noisy so I turned it off, however, this did not stop the noise coming from it. There was no plug in the sink in the bathroom so I couldn’t have a shave in the morning. The shower holder was slightly broken so when I turned it on so it was pushed up with the force of the water which then in turn went over the top of the shower door and soaked the bathroom. When I checked in I was told breakfast was served until 10am. I double checked this at the time. The information on my TV was suggesting 11am. I checked this via the methods indicated in my room (text & Whatsapp) but didn’t receive a reply until much later. All in all a very disappointing stay and likely will put me off staying with this brand again.
