This mercure hotel in Belgium close to Lille and Gand is great (20minutes from Lille if you avoid the traffic jam period.) . I had a free upgrade in a suite. What a room. Big, (35sm), incredibly well equipped (even washing machine and dryer!). The hotel is recent and in a very good state. Very good quality of beds and pilows - very friendly staff. As a platinum member, you get a nice little surprise as well. Hotel just off the motorway so great if you travel by car. So all in all, great hotel in my point of view.

Hotel between Lille and Gand - on the side of motorways so very easy access by car - hotel pretty new - rooms are modern and in a very god state. As Platinum member, I always get upgraded in this hotel. Always a pleasure to come here. Paul C

Everything fine except that I have been charged for an additional night by error and do not have any correction despite 2 emails (4 days ago and yesterday) and a phone call (yesterday).

Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Helpful staff. We ate in the restaurant twice and liked the food. One of the reading lights in my wife's room did not work. The road works made it difficult to go to and from the hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mercure Roeselare. The staff, food, room were best we have had in any Accor hotel. the only downside is parking which is a bit of a problem.

Parking at the hotel is not a fair system - if you are lucky enough to get a space just outside the hotel, you don't have to pay but if all hotel spaces are taken, you have to pay to park

Hotel and room clean and tidy. Breakfast very good. All staff very friendly and helpful. My only complaints would be that the pillows on the bed were uncomfortable and that I had to pay 12 euros for parking my car in the underground car park when the parking directly outside the hotel is free.

« Good hotel for onward travel »

We chose this hotel to break a long journey, so being close to the main routes was important. The hotel is clean, modern and the room was large and well equipped (particularly appreciated British tele!). We were very comfortable, We didn't use the restaurant, we went into Roeslare to eat ( about 4 miles ).All in all a good experience.

Convenient (if soulless) location, friendly staff always a plus when arriving late in the evening. Rooms good, clean & comfortable. Breakfast was excellent & included within my room rate. Parking a pain...it's in a business park & there seems to be little parking for Accor, many of the spaces are marked for other businesses with a risk of clamping / towing if you contravene.
