Upon check in was told to wait for room as it was being prepared. After 20 minutes was asked if i wanted to wait further 15 mins for Sea Facing room otherwise back is ready. Eventually after 30 mins room was ready. When i opening the curtains there was a huge building in front. Apparently if we were on a higher floor than we could have seen the water. I asked Mustafa the logic in having to wait to see a Building. Internet speed is fast only in public places. Complained several times. Standard response we will reset it. Shocking in this day and age we stayed 3 nights with intermittent internet. 2nd day the frame of the main door came out. So we had Maint. fix it. As an Accor Member I never recd complimentary frinks voucher. Even asked Mustafa and he said ok but never gave.

Novotel services is my choice whenever I'm travelling with the family. The hotel policy for childrens still the best among othet hotels. Do not think, that I would recommend Novotel at Karakoy to stay: it's perfect location and services are very disadvantaged by the construction of Karakoy passenger terminal - you can imagine construction noise, view and somewhere dust.

We liked this hotel very much and will stay here again on the next trip to Istanbul. Breakfast was very good. Staff was great. They wanted to make sure that everything is Perfect. We spent 8 days at Novotel Istanbul Bosphorus. The place is comfortable, clean, and the food is great. Staff were as helpful as we expected. If you are lucky to have a room on the 4th or the 5th floor, you will see the best view of the Bosphorus with the golden horn to your right hand! If not, then you will see them every morning from the roof-top restaurant while having your breakfast. The hotel is strategically located near restaurants, ferry terminals, and tourist attractions, many of which are within walking distance.

Firstly, on our check in date, the room rate quoted by FO varied from the rate quoted by Accor Hotels which I booked few months ago. Upon highlighting this difference, FO abided by the earlier rate by Accor. Thanks to Dilek our check in was smooth and she allowed us to check in earlier. She provided us wirh a lot of tourist information. Sad to say our rooms were not cleaned properly. Disappointed that shower caps were not provided. Roof top bar was amazing and service was professional and friendly. Spa service by Derya was equally good and the hammam and massage by Afag was fantastic. She was friendly and pleasant. What a wonderful experience, relaxing and rejuvenating. If time permitted i would have done it again. On one occasion we noticed concierge staff with bag trolley had entered the lift before the guest.

We had a great 4 night stay at your hotel. The room was nice, loved the rooftop restaurant/bar. Service was partially fantastic and partially just ok. Check in was very slow. We were asked to sit down and wait and the'd advise us when the room would be ready. This was at 12pm. After 30min I asked when it would be ready, he said by 2:30pm. Did he expect us to sit there for 2.5h and wait for the room to be ready...? Service at the bar at night for cocktails patchy - the guys were more keen to talk to each other then service the guests. cocktails inconsistent, wine pours inconsistent - one time we'd get 10 cl the next time 20 cl. Flavor of cocktails good but guys aren't following standards as every drink was slightly different. Breakfast is really great but as an inhouse customer you shouldn't be paying the full rate of 20 Euro which in relation to your room rate and market prices in Istanbul feels very over-priced. It took 30 min to get an ironing board and iron to the room. These are the areas you should be improving. Saying that, the rest was great and we would stay here again for sure.

We stayed here on our honeymoon with high expectations. Unfortunately a number of small errors made by the hotel made it a disappointing experience. We booked an airport transfer with hotel that after an hour never showed up. Very frustrated we took a taxi to the hotel instead. When we arrived the staff were very apologetic and offered a free transfer for our return flight which was a nice gesture. When we got to our room, the smell of smoke was overpowering. The hotel quickly rectified this by moving us to another room, but it was again frustrating. As an Accor Plus Gold Member i usually get a complementary room upgrade, but no rooms were available so we were offered a free breakfast instead. With all the great cafes in the local area we ate out most of the time anyway. When we did have breakfast at the hotel it was a nice view, but the noise from construction was so loud that it wasn’t very pleasant. During our stay we contacted the reception to make a restaurant reservation and they told us they would take care of it. When we came down at the appointed time we found out that no one had contacted the restaurant. Reception called the restaurant only to find out it was booked out. Instead they gave us a great recommendation for another restaurant which was even better but we were disappointed that no one had followed through with the initial request. A minor annoyance was our tea bags not being refreshed during our 3 day stay. Finally when we left the hotel we asked for our bags to be brought down, and we were about to get into the car when one of the staff told us a bag had been left in the room. Again, the issue was rectified but disappointing that it happened at all! On the positive the staff were generally very helpful, food was nice and the onsite Turkish baths were very nice.
