« Perfect stay »

The location, service, personnel, rooms, cleaning briefly everything was perfect. Unreal cost-benefit rate. I stayed with friends who are very happy to stay in novotel bosphorus... the Roof and some tooms have the best view. I certainly recommend....

« NIce clean hotel in a fantastic location but additional housekeeping staff may be required »

Hotel itself is nice, clean and located in a lovely part of Istanbul easily accessible to public transport and alot of touristic destination. We did however feel that some additional staff may be needed at the hotel as we couldnt check in till 3PM as our room wasn't ready and on one occasion we didn't have any bath towel left in the room after room service and had to call twice and wait 1hour to get towels sent up to our room.

Comfortable room, professional staff working there and we also enjoyed the spa. Walking distance from the main tourist sites and the tramway station very closed from Novotel Bosphorus helped us to move easily throughout the city. We really enjoyed our week in Istanbul and will check in again at Novotel if we are back some day

« Hotel is great, but hotel staff working for their privat interets are oposite than extra mile!!! »

Hotel is very nice, very clean, most of the staff is very usefull, but when you need some asistance with services outside hotel, some staff member work for their own interest whith their friends, and than comes problems! After that same people are coming back to hotel to give provision for job to your staff members! Than make me feel disapointed because I had belif in sour kindly staff

First if all, thank you for the room upgrade. The room is very nice, well mentioned, clean and comfortable. Check in check out process were smooth, staff are helpful and friendly. Appreciate for all help given. Especially due to my late flight, the gentleman granted my late check out request, and even offered to extend the SPA opening hour for me to do refreshment before heading to the airport. Thank you very much. However, there were a few suggestions I would like to make. As my package did not include breakfast, on my first morning in the hotel, I went to the restaurant for my breakfast, I asked if there is discount for Accor member, the gentleman said why not I charge the breakfast to the room and if there is any discount, it will be reflected in my bill. Upon checking out, I realised there was no discount. It is fine if there is not any discount for my membership, just that this shows the gentleman at the restaurant is not sure about it, at all. I experienced this kind of situations in other Accor hotels also, so I think it is quite commonly happened. I feel it would be better at least someone in the property could be able to answer such benefits enquiry on the spot. In the night I was leaving, my friend and I had a drink at the roof top bar, it was a Saturday night and the place was packed, I supposed all staff were quite busy, so we waited for quite a while for the menu. As we were sitting near the bar, I saw a misconduct there. The bar tender played with one of the waiter's hair and without washing his hand, he immediately made a cocktail and picked some greens with his bare hand. It is completely fine to be a bit playful at the bar, but hygiene must be in top priority in F&B. Where we got the bill, I asked about the Accor discount again, but the captain(?) just gave me a "what are you talking about" kind of face, I felt bad like I was some cheapo customer asking for discount. My habit is I always ask for the benefits, and most of the time I would get something like "we are sorry sir, we do not provide discount for Accor card" or something more friendly (or polite?), instead of just a simple "noc and a little bit of rolling eye face. Sorry if I am too picky and demanding, my experience in the restaurant/ bar was just not that good and was a bit of show stopper. For the stay, I would give it a 10 marks, it was almost perfect, and once again, would like to say thank you for everyone who made it stay a pleasant, memorable and wonderful one. Please keep up with the good work!

+ Hotel employees friendly and helpful, room service fast and convenient - During my stay wasn't posible to have dinner at the roof resturant, room condition must be improved - water leakage on the cealing, tolied light switch not cleaned from wall paint.

Hotel is good, service is good, every time after one stay a questionnaire is not nice inclusive reminders to fill it in. I ll keep coming back so I guess that is proof enough that I am satisfied?

We really enjoyed our stay at Novotel Bosphorus which is located in one of the nicest neighbourhoods of Istanbul and near the water. It's a nice hotel with friendly staff who go extra mile to make your stay pleasant.

« Not suitable for families »

Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good but water wasn’t free and tap water had a bad taste. No privacy in the bathroom even when the glass is frosted. I asked to empty the minibar since I have children but I was informed that this can be done only next day at 12:00 and next day nothing happened and I requested again and waited till the third day to empty the minibar. I was given a smoking room even that I asked for a non smoking one but it was changed afterwards. PlayStation in the kids area in the looby wasn’t working.
