I started my experience with a simple online check in. As soon as I arrived to the hotel and walked up to the front desk, I was warmly welcomed and was told they were upgrading my room. Beautiful suite, well maintained, clean, smelled good. I only wish I had a better view out my window (But I was only on the 3rd floor and the construction across the street blocked my view). Went out for dinner and came back later than I planned - I ran down to the pool and even though closing hour had just arrived, the workers were amazing and let me have a 10 minute swim. Last time I stayed at the hotel, the breakfast was on the lobby floor. Now, it has moved up to the roof -and IT IS STUNNING!!! With the late sunrise in Istanbul, I got to see the sun come up while having my really tasty breakfast with a beautiful view over the bay. Seriously the best way to wake up. Came back to my room to pack up and head out - went downstairs and had a super quick checkout procedure with the nicest of smiles and warm farewell from the staff. I will definitely be coming back for another stay - and I strongly recommend this hotel for your next visit to Istanbul.

« Quiet nest in busy Istanbul »

Your hotel was just a very conveniently located and comfortable hide out between excursions in the thousand facets of the city. Particularly liked was the swimming pool / sauna / hammam area although instructions for the later would have helped as we expected a lot of steam which wasn't there. Breakfast with a view is also great to plan for the day ahead whilst all services were up to a very good standard

I would say that everything was perfect, specially the breakfast buffet. The hotel location is so close to everything you may need. It's a modern hotel and all the furnitures are brand new. However, the only negative point was that the cleaners did not clean the room every day and they just recharged the used toilet accessories. The toilet floor was not even cleaned once during the 6-night stay. There was a guy in reception named "Ozan", if I am not mistaken. He was fluent in English, quite polite and very happy to help. I would like to thanks him. I would stay there again.

« Lacking the personal touch »

My stay at your property was lacking the personal care and I didn’t feel welcome. Your staff seemed not polite. For example, at the front office they were nearly shouting at guests. The service was dry. I am a Gold Club member, which was not recognised. The atmosphere at the rooftop bar was not friendly. This is not what I am used to during my stays at other Accor properties. Please put efforts in training your staff on customer care and service.

It's one of the best Novotel's I have stayed in till date. Being a gold member I have stayed in Novotel's across the world and this one has by far the best food, rooms and not to forget the lobby till date. The only one thing that has a scope of improvement is the housekeeping. My room was not cleaned upto mark on the first day and I called the desk and complained and the reaction to that was also slow. Second is that being a gold member I would expect at least one bottle of complimentary bottle per day which was lacking.
