« Relatively new hotel with cleanliness issues »

The hotel has been chosen since well located in Santos in the new center. I was staying here last time in March 2018. Already that time the rooms and corridors were showing poor cleaning standard. This has been addressed to the management. Now, this stay I was astonished to find similar conditions which clearly show the poor workmanship of the cleaning personnel. The room was not clean (many long black hair on the floor, dust in the corners and under the bed). The bedding was not clean and showing spots. The holder for the shower was broken off. Furthermore, the corridor was not being cleaned for various days and in a poor condition. Finally, the fire alarm was tested without informing the guests adequately. All issues have been addressed to the reception personnel immediately but for days nothing happened. Only after having a word with the General Manager Christian all problems have been solved. An other issue I have learned about only some days after my return home. The shop where I bought clothes (Iporanga Shopping) contacted the reception staff and asked them to leave a message. This info was NOT received at all and finally caused severe trouble.

Very friendly and helpful people working at the hotel but service lacks the standards I received in other Novotels around the world. Room and bathrooms need to be more clean, upholstery was dirty, some days I had no towels and my bed was terribly done, it seems like the cleaning lady never learned the technique to make the bed nice and fresh, specially in a tropical destination. I was wrongly charged, to my surprise, so the hotel receptionist needed to add another 2 days wrongly calculated in the original bill (not very transparent). I spend 7 day at the hotel, b breakfast should change a bit every 2 or 3 days.

« A good experience »

I had an overall good experience, the staff is very friendly and my room was well maintained: towels, paper, etc. The services i used were good (restaurant and laundry). I would appreciate a bit more tidiness in the clean up of the room (i found some cut nails on the floor). The gym had a weight machine broken.

The room was clean and nice. The breakfast was fine. The gym was dirty, I tried to use the running machine and it was very dirty it was disgusting I did not use it.

Arrived tired after a day of work in Sao Paulo and the drive to Santos. The check-in staff were cheerful, helpful, and quick in getting me to my room. Comfortable and quiet room made for easy rest. Great location near downtown and with an easy walk to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. Great value for the money.

First of all, I didn't feel welcome as the AccorHotels' spirit is being annouced. I do believe there's a lack of consistence between the idea behind the brand and the customer facing services. The room was pretty great, from the architecture perspective, and the services (breakfast and other facilities were also ok). Problems: - Breakfast: it was too crowded and there were no enough employees to assist everyone to find tables; - WiFi: good, but could be better; - SAP: when asked to change the TV language to the original ones, it was not available because this change would affect all hotel infrastructure.

Dear Mr Cristian YNONYE, I was in room 26-03. The right window did not close properly. I could hear the town noise. I asked to have be repaired, but there must have been some misundertanding because this has not been done. After having used the shower, I noticed that some water was coming under the washbawl. Some noise was also coming from the toilet from water drops falling behind the wall. I hope you will take these 3 issues for the next resident. Best regards
