The clerk attendant at the checkout, Marcos was very impolite when we complained that we needed the “Nota Fiscal”. In Brazil it’s always like that when you checkout the system is always out, the night before we stated that we will need the document... So far I haven’t received the NF.

Some of the staff were engaging and friendly, but I was surprised that the front desk staff appeared to be more involved with each other than the guest. The room was small, but adequate, barely. The food was ok and I was impressed with the serving staff in how they treated guests and also how they maintained food quality. That was perhaps the most impressive part of my stay.

Jail time

Terrible, room was the size of a jail cell. Bed only had one thin sheet to sleep on and one thin sheet to cover. Two crap pillows. One towel for the whole stay. No drinking water, (most hotels normally give at least 1 free). No coffee maker or hot water boiler. Simple blah room. Breakfast extremely overpriced.

As our flight were cancelled, we were allocated in the hotel by the flight company. The receptionists were cordial. The provided food was simple but good. We only stayed in the hotel for a couple of hours.

Convenient but uncomfortable

It is very close to the airport which I had meetings. But the hotel itself is not that good. May be better to stay a bit far and get. More comfortable one, once Manaus doesn't have much traffic. The bed was bad, the mattress was a thin layer. The noise isolation was also terrible, I could listen the person on the other room, people waking on the aisle. And the worst: when the guest next door closed the door it completely vibrates the wall! And wakes you up since the bed is on this wall.

It was good but I think they need to have a store with personal things like toothpaste, toothbrush, etc ... and a restaurant with empanadas, sandwiches, juices. Near the hotel there are not many restaurant options and as the hotel restaurant opens at specific times, it is complicated for travelers arriving in the afternoon.

The Ibis Manaus Aeroporto is a great place to stay for a night or two! It's very close to the airport. The staff was pleasant (and one of the staff was able to speak English) and fast at check in. The rooms are very small, and not fancy, but bed was comfortable. There's a little restaurant with limited hours that serves a great breakfast and a good dinner! There's also a small bar. The room and bathroom were clean. For the $, this is a great little hotel!

cigarrett smell in the bathroom

This time it was avarage, for some reason the bathroom had a strong cigarrett smell. Posibble the smell came in through the vent's or drains.

Worst accommodation in our 6 month trip

No issues with staff. The check in process was the longest of all hotels we stayed at. The staff was typing as fast as she could so I assume that the process is just very long. The hotel is revolting. Our toilet was leaking and the ceiling and shower had mould all over it (room 157). The entire fl 1 also smelled of mould. The whole place is screaming for a paint job. We had bed bugs and bugs were also seen in the cafeteria. Only had irons available on fl 2. This place is an indictment on Ibis and makes us want to never stay in another Ibis hotel again. It was the worst place we stayed at during our 6 month trip which included hostels in Bolivian salt flats in the middle of the desert.

The room given was damp and the bed was so wet that we were unable to stay and left the hotel after only afewhours

Hotel too close to road with a lot of traffic. Many rooms suffer from the traffic noise.

The room I first had was suffering seriously from traffic noise. I had requested one away from the road. I then had one further away, but still the trafffic noise was a pain. This hotel was badly planned, what regards the traffic noise. It is a very new hotel, so it could have been planned much better!!
