I really enjoyed the ibis Rio Branco. The hotel is modern, clean, and stylish. The bed was comfy and I appreciated having working A/C and a thicker comforter to use. The view was decent as well and the location convenient.

Hello, My room cleaning were great, but in my third day I saw a gekko walking on the floor, then the wall and finally hiding behind the bookcase. I called the staff but they couldn't find it. They couldn't change my room that day, but neither the following days. Not good

------- About your food -------- If you want people to really look forward for staying at your hotels, you should change the view you take on food services. Everyone knows that the real way to a man's heart is through his stomach. If people are well fed, they will cherish the stay and overlook a great deal of problems with the accomodation. If you are going to do such a bad job at preparing dinner options, why not just drop it and provide an around the clock breakfeast-like buffet? That way, when I get back to the hotel from my meetings, I can enjoy a cup of coffe or tea, having some light snacks and finishing my affairs on my laptop computer. Charge 3 times the price of a breakfeast service and call it an all inclusive stay. If the desire is to provide a dinner service, the hotel should aim to be a 'go to' place, instead of a default last option. By mastering some 10 to 15 dishes you can please any client that comes through your door. It is not impossible to do - look at Applebees or Outback steakhouse for instance. Those restaurants have a much more complex menu while keeping a great quality and a great level of standardization between their locations. You already have great locations around the world, most of them with easy access, parking spots and a handfull of possible clients checked in the rooms. All of those locations are well known to local inhabitants and have proper visual communication already set up. Each of those locations has an empty dining room, and a sub-utilized kitchen. Why do you ignore that possible revenue stream? ------- About My stay -------- There is a 2 hour difference from my city to the city of Rio Branco. There are no nearby restaurants, so I had to wait a long time to be able to order a burger. It was so bad I had to leave most of it untouched. I even forgot to order the desert I had already paid for and headed back to my room. The air conditioning temperature couldn't be properly regulated. If it was on, the room would be freezing. If it was off, I could enjoy the humid heat from a tropical rain forest. The rest was great. The staff is very friendly, the hotel itself looked very fresh and new. I always find it amazing how the rooms are exactly the same anywhere in the world - That creates a sort of home feeling, specially if you travel a lot.
