The elevators, hallways, the room had an unpleasant smell. The sheets had a blood/wine stain when we first checked in, when we asked for change of sheets it was again the same stain in the same place. The towels, the bathtub everything had hairs. Hygiene, for the first time in ibis hotels, was beyond terrible to my experience.

You denied the cleaning service, the 6 and 7 of April, except the 8 and checked out the 9. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you faced during your stay. Cleanliness is of utmost importance to us, and we have strict protocols in place to ensure the highest standards. Your feedback regarding the room condition will be addressed with our housekeeping team to prevent such occurrences in the future. The free drink we usually get with the Ibis fidelity had to be a bottle of lemonade since they didn’t have beer or wine. I couldn’t drink the lemonade as there was no bottle opener in the room. Room was super small, but clean and adequate. I received and email that for express check-out, but that wasn’t the case since I had the daily tax to pay. I’m usually very pleased with Ibis, so this was a bit disappointing.

As usual the staff was very friendly and helpful with all my questions and requests, I cannot complain. My room was clean and everything was working. I thank the management for all their accommodations and wish a Happy New Year! I will be back in 2024 :)
