Been here last year. It looked new and grand the first visit but this trip condition of hotel seems dropped. Entrance carpet with stained, lobby lounge area was not clean on floor also tables not wiped when i was there waiting for friend. Toilet area of my bathroom not cleaned well with unpleasant smell.

It is our first time coming to Jinjiang and Shishi. Our relatives were a little bit old so we never asked them to pick us up at the airport and to tour us around. My first intention was to take a local Taxi going to the hotel from the airport. However, the Hotel Concierge, Mr. Roy Zhang told us to take the hotel car to and from the hotel and airport. I was happy that i listened to him because i later found out that public transportation in Jinjiang and shishi is challenging. It is hard to look for a taxi. Unlike in Shanghai and Shenzhen, they dont have subway/metro. I think Pullman Shishi Mattison is the best Choice of hotel in Shishi since i never saw other international brand hotel in the area. It compose of 2 building however only 1 building is with hotel rooms and this building also houses the Mattison Apartment( I think this is a serviced apartment). The hotel room is huge, clean and beautifully designed. The bathroom has a separate shower and bathtub. Between the bathtub and the bed is a glass where you can see both sides, but they have electric powered curtain in case you want privacy. There is a Western Style restaurant in the Lobby. From the 3nights we stayed there we ate there twice and i want to recommend to have dinner their since the taste of the seafoods are great. They also have some Steak which is also good and Hotpot and more. At the back of the hotel, they have this Chinese restaurant which we did not try since we thought it is cheaper in the lobby restaurant. Amenities- Swimming pool, gym, billiard(with pay), Table tennis, Jaccuzzi, Sauna in the 5th floor. Other amenities like the table football and air hockey game i did not ask if it is complimentary. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful which i think is a standard in an international brand Hotel like this Pullman. I am not sure if this will be the same case in other local hotel I am very happy to meet Mr. Roy Zhang because he was not just helpful and kind, he was sincere and very eager to teach me everything i need to know going to places i want to go. It was my first time coming to Jinjiang and Shishi. I don't know anything regarding the place. I just heard that we should come in from Jinjiang airport and stay Pullman Shishi Mattison. After my reservation, i was so happy to be contacting Mr. Roy Zhang of Concierge. He told me to take the hotel car to/from the airport to the hotel. Well it was a great choice since i learned that it was hard to take a taxi in Shishi and Jinjiang. Also, coming to China, i knew it was better to stay at an international brand hotel rather than their local hotel. I knew that hotel staff will be well trained and will be very friendly and helpful and courteous. Fortunately Pullman Shishi has a concierge in Mr. Roy Zhang. He is the best hotel staff i have ever encountered among all the hotels i have stayed before. When i ask a question he gives me an answer that is helpful and then after a few moments he gives me another or better option from the previous question that i have asked him. When i learned that it was hard to book a taxi he offered me to install a taxi app in china in my cellphone. Then he noticed my chinese character reading is not so good so he informed me when i have time i can look for him and help me change it to english. I know all hotel concierge must be friendly and helpful to the hotel guest but i think Mr. Roy Zhang is not only helpful and friendly, he also has the heart, the sincerity, the thoughtfulness and effort to help hotel guest which i think he stands above from the rest. As of today, in all of my hotel experience, Meeting Roy Zhang was the best experience. I also notice that (But i am not so sure) he seems to be not so good in english but i saw his eagerness to learn and help me specially in installing the app in my phone. There were many question i asked him not regarding to the hotel but all of the question he answered it to the best effort that he can. There was 1 time i ask him where to buy a chinese book, i was surprised that he bought it and gave me as a gift however i insisted that i should pay him. There are only 2 reasons why i will come back to Shishi and Jinjiang, it is because i want to stay again at Pullman Shishi and meet Mr. Roy Zhang again. However there was just 1 thing that disappointed us. It is the mosquito inside the hotel and even in the hotel room. But overall stay was very good. The mosquito issue, i don't know how to suggest the hotel to keep them away but even outside the hotel, there were many mosquito. Our flight leaving Jinjiang airport was 1430, Mr. Roy Zhang told us to leave the hotel at 1215. However jinjiang airport is different from other airport because we arrive 1230, the gate was still close going to the check in counter. In other international airport, the counter for check in opens at least 3 hrs before departure. Then when the gate opened at 1300 everybody made their way going in without properly lining up. Whew, if i can do it again, i should have came at 1330 where i think almost everyone is inside so we dont have to go thru the chaotic experience again. Regarding buying simcard for foreigner, it can be challenging since not all store will sell to non china residents. We tried 3-5 stores, and only the last store allowed us to buy the simcard for data and local calls. Amenities in the hotel are excellent. They have recreational like billiard, table tennis, gym, pooland more. I did not try the chinese restaurant at the back of the hotel. The restaurant at the lobby was great, it was very worth the price we paid. Food taste was excellent. we ate their 3 times during our stay.

Pullman Shishi Mattison is almost perfect. My suggestions for improvement: 1.)Implement key card security for the elevators, so that only guests can have access to their rooms. 2.)The comforter blanket was too warm for the weather in April.

I regularly stay in the Pullman when I'm visiting Shishi. I've found the hotel to be comfortable and modern and the staff to be friendly and helpful. I would like to make a special mention of the concierge, Roy, who has always been a great help to me when I'm planning my visits. I like the room that I was given, it was lovely and the bed super comfortable. Specially mentioned to the Executive floor, thanks to Colour, she did very good services and make our trip enjoyable. We also dinning at Cafe Aria, food provided not so good at this time. But I would like to thank David, he provides good services. It was pretty good if hotel can attentive to A+ Platinum Member, such as offering welcome fruits/snacks, even welcome drink, I didn't received. I need to wait for a long time to up grade my room.

My stay was generally smooth, I just noticed a few changes in the menu on breakfast, but I think it is just a cyclical change. Perhaps the gym, sauna and jacuzzi should extend operation until midnight to cater those coming in late.

the rooms are well kept and clean. location may not be exactly in the center of the city as eateries are few and good. breakfast at the ground floor cafe need improvement on the selection and quality of food items. front desk staff are courteous but need brushing up on the english language

Again this hotel didn't disappoint me. The room is up to my expectations. The breakfast is reasonable. The gym is just right for me. I didn't have time for the swimming pool. But the best was the service courtesy. Inspite of the light season, the Executive Club maintained a very friendly attitude.

I was so disappointed by my last visit because I was not given an upgrade even with my record stay of almost 30 days in a span of 7 months. I asked the receptionist to upgrade me to a suite considering i am a gold card member of ACCORPLUS and have many night stay at Shishi Pullman Mattison . The reception check the computer and agreed that indeed I am a regular guest and have stayed there for many nights. She said that she will ask the duty manager about my request. After a few minutes she come out and together with the male manager and said he can not give an upgrade . although I am a gold member he can not give me an upgrade. What really got me really upset is the he follow it up by saying if even you are a Platinum card member he still will not give me an upgrade to suite. This hotel is new but the staff there are constantly changing. I can hard see a regular staff in my less than one stay. The staffs are poorly trained to live up to a Pullman's Hotel.

This was my 3rd time at Shishi Pullman. Same issue happened everytime. 1.English speaker Only 2people can communicate well. I ubderstand there are more Chinese customer, but hotel is international brand 5star hotel. More international people coming now. Hard to communicate with hotel people at the lobby bar and lounge. Really bad when I did phone call for room service and any additional request. Need to improve this. 2.Lounge Hotel doesn't open lounge. I complained this lst two times. I met international travelers at the lounge. They had same bad experience. People spen money for lounge access, but hotel doesn't open it. How come hotel do this? People spend extra money but no benefit. No matter there are no platinum member nor executive room people, hotel have to open the lounge everyday. 3.Spa Still cannot use sauna and jaccuzi. Zero service at the spa. Have to open for customers. 4.Laundry service I requested in the morning and hotel had to send it bacl around 6pm. But no clothes back to my room until later night. That day was my last night at the hotel, but they told me they can return it next day. No english speaker, so it was terrible to talke with people. Finally I've received all of my clothes after midnight. This was unusual, bad experience. 5.Smoking Hotel doesn't care Chinese peopel's smoking at the lobby, lobby bar and elevator. I saw several cigaret and ash onthe floor and elevator. This is disgusting and really bad. Hotel need to strictly control this. I like this hotel although there's nothing around this hotel. Like room and food at the hotel and I also expected good service as Accor platinum member. I expected better and improved service everytime I book the hotel. But don't expect anymore. There's new Hilton hotel opened 15-20mins distance from the hotel. Acccor needs to focus on improving service.
