« Overall a satisfying & straightforward stay. »

I phoned late afternoon & called twice before call was answered. As l arrived after reception had closed was checked in by dining room staff. Though courteous there was no engagement with me, no warm country style welcome or offer of help/advice re my surroundings. They did however offer very good table service during my dinner & meal was lovely. For a stunning location by the sea & surrounded by rolling green hills my room was quite devoid of colour/warmth; leaves no lasting impression. The bathroom was lovely & clean.

« expected more from a 4 Star hotel. »

recepetion not staffed at all times, no one to answer the phone no room service, excuse - resturant was booked out?????? not enough towels in rooms. 1/2 an hour for a poached egg for breakfast, come on!!!! we booked 4 rooms, all my family were disappointed. rooms clean, but uninviting

« Friendly and well located hotel, walking distance to most things. »

It was relaxing, friendly staff, good food at the restaurant and was an easy walking distance to most places we wanted to go to. Lady at reception (greek appearance cannot remember her name) was very accommodating and went out of her way to ensure our stay was a good experience

« A local surprise »

We arrived after Reception closed so the checking in process via the restaurant was haphazard, the Surname was misspelt, wifi code not supplied. However, the room was larger than expected and dinner in the restaurant was delicious. There was a very noisy group of 20 or more in the restaurant which reduced our enjoyment of the setting . I felt the waitstaff were distracted by the large group as we weren’t offered further drinks. We enjoyed the complimentary drink after the waiter took a few goes to work out which beers were offered. Another small issue- when we arrived for breakfast we weren’t on the breakfast list!! All Minor complaints considering we were very comfortable & pleasantly surprised at the size & quality of the facilities. Even better was the excellent Accor deal we received!!

« Another excellent stay »

This was our 3rd stay in only about 6 weeks. We chose this resort because it’s only about half an hour away and it’s in a quiet relaxing beautiful part of the world. All we want is a relaxing afternoon with dinner, wine and comfort and that’s what we get each time. It’s perfect for us.. All the staff are very friendly and happy as well.. This time we tried the day spa and what an amazing experience and idea it was.. The perfect way to spend a couple of hours and we definitely will recommend this to people.. Thanks to David at the restaurant for looking after us again at dinner..! Overall, we loved it and we can’t wait to come back.!!!

« More than We expected.Well done Team »

The restaurant staff were so amazing.20/10 to Reneigh from Front Desk. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was spotless. Overall an extremely wonderful one night stay.Well done to all departments.Liked the laid back and welcoming attitude of the staff there.

« Dissappointed with Restaurant staff »

Food order was wrong, 1 member of our party received chicken and rice instead of fettucine, another clearly requested no sauce on steak when ordering, but this was overlooked. As waiter put it on table, he remembered so took it back behind the bar, scraped off the sauce and brought it back out!! Waited for over 45 minutes, but restaurant wasnt busy. I ordered medium rare, someone else medium and another well done - we all received the wrong ones but didnt realise until partway through meal. Waiter in charge came over and asked if there was a problem. When we explained, he responded with an insincere sorry. No offer to fix or provide meals requested. When asking about cocktails, waiter behind bar (who was in charge) couldnt tell us what was in one - his response was "sorry no idea". The ordered 4 cocktails but requested soda water in 2 instead of lemonade. When brought to table, they were mixed up. Finally dessert was brought out, main waiter asked who had pecan pie. No one had ordered but when we said we ordered apple pie, he said this must be it - he clearly didnt know the menu. Overall attitude was poor, particularly from older waiter who was main person. When paying, chefs had music blaring from kitchen, looking completly unfocused.

« It was very pleasant and perfect for our short break. »

We have stayed at your Gerringong Mecure before and thoroughly enjoyed it. On this occasion when booking I explained that my husband had a disability with walking. We were offered an appropriate room but as it had no view we rejected it for a room with an outlook and verandah. It wasn't until about 8pm on our first night that we realised this room had a shower over a bath making it impossible for my husband to safely shower. Reception had closed so we managed. The next day we were given a better room with a walk-in shower and we were very happy with that. However, I was surprised that staff were not aware of the inappropriateness of the first room nor was any consideration given to allocating a room with immediate and easy access from the car to the room. The staff were very apologetic and helpful but perhaps they should be better briefed on the layout of rooms and accessibility.

« Another fabulous stay! »

Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and an error with our room allocation was immediately identified by the receptionist who swiftly fixed the error and allocated a room on the level we had requested. Our room was clean and comfortable and since our last stay improvements in the amenities were apparent. Without exception this is our favourite place to stay on the South Coast and we can’t wait to stay with you again.
