best part was the bed and ability to sleep through the night - loved the ability to close the outer sliding door and enjoy how quiet and dark the room was. bed was quite comfortable as well. proximity to Gangnam district also great. breakfast solid as well.

« Helpful customer service and a neat room »

The customer service was very helpful. We arrived at 10pm, and they recommended us some places to go so that we could have dinner and a brief walk. :) As this was a business trip, I only stayed for 2 nights, but the overall experience was great! I'd definitely visit Mercure again on my next trip to Seoul.

We were a group of three as entered at time of booking, but all the amenities were for two people. Two bottles of water, two toothbrushes, etc. I don't think I want to stay here again.

Overall: very good hotel, all staff members were friendly and very efficient. Hotel lobby and breakfast room looked nice and clean. WiFi and also cabled internet worked was fast and without any issue. However, things for improvement: - Air conditioning is very low (not sure if anything can be changed about this) - The light in the bathroom is not optimal. There is no bright light coming from above or next to the mirror. At least in my room there was plenty of space above the mirror where an additional light could be added easily -> would recommend that an additional light is added there.

Great location, comfy beds. Nice rooms. 2 things of concern - despite presenting my loyalty card I was not recognized as a loyalty member . Needed to ask in second instance - air con did not work in our room, temperature stayed at 26.7 C . Engineer apparently sent during absence and mentioned things would work now. Temperature in room was still 26.7 C hours later. Only then a new room was offered Thanks for the kind apology the next morning.

I always enjoy staying at your hotel. The warm and familiar welcome I feel when I arrive makes me smile. Katie one of the front desk managers always gives me a hug upon arriving. I've stayed in your hotel at least 4 or 5 times now and have always enjoyed it. The breakfast is outstanding and the rooftop bar superb. However, I was disappointed this last visit because I was given a room facing the business tower side of the hotel, so I couldn't open my curtains in the morning. I figured even if my rate wasn't prestige, after staying there 4 times before, I would have received some other preferential treatment when I inquired to switch rooms.

I’ve used Mercure during my last 2 visits and likely to continue as I’m overall happy with your staff and services. I however was not very happy with your bath towels as they have a smell that indicated it was not properly dried. This did not happen I. My earlier trip.

It was nice that I got a complimentary room upgrade to a deluxe room. However, I didn’t know that it doesn’t come with the benefits e.g. complimentary beverages. I found out by calling the front desk to confirm. The front desk should have explained this at Check-in. Because the beverage list in the room said complementary to deluxe room.
