« November in Sochi »

Unforgettable one-week stay in the first-class hotel: excellent service, very clean and quiet, good breakfast, convenient location in the heart of Sochi, stunning sea view from the balcony of the panoramic deluxe suite. A warm sunny weather was an additional bonus. The only minus was improper functioning of hammam for men (practically no steam and too chilly), I lacked it sometimes after walks at the seaside.

Lovely rooms with modern amenities and comfortable layout. Good breakfast and great location near to the port. Wines in the bar were a little tied and older vintages, especially for the white (Chablis) but all in all a good stay

« Very good impression »

We were very pleased to stay in this hotel. Particularly pleased with small yet very nice attention from the GM Mme Severine Krawec for my birthday and our long-stay. The location of the hotel is perfect with short access to the beach and a very nice open terrace in the yard. The swimming pool location is great at the high floor. Breakfast is full and diversified. Hotel staff is in general very friendly and well-trained. My only disappointment is with surrounding infrastructure: very noisy restaurant Light house, low profile music and shouting people prevent from having a rest in the night until 11pm. I would also suggest to have a closer control of 3 points: 1) cleaning ladies in the room, as they tend to skip a lot of corners and forget small details at a regaular basis 2) swimming pool discipline. as this place is without supervision, guests tend to be extremely noisy, running, jumping into the pool and preventing others to have a peaceful rest... we were very disappointed with the atmosphere 3) concierge service. My expectations would be to find an exclusive assistance, instead I was redirected by the concierge to find tickets for a special event by myself at the site of the event! - LOL. Think about the decoration of the hotel, very design - oriented, it definitely lacks plants and flowers)) that one would expect in the south of the country, where they are not rare))). I would like to thank the GM and the staff of the hotel for the warm welcome and recommend this hotel to my friends and collegues. Totally liked the hotel! Clean spacious rooms, good breakfast and cuisine at restaurant, great sea view from upper-store deluxe rooms, extraordinary spa at top floor and executive lounge, accompanied by perfect overall service of the hotel stuff - great experience!!!

The room was OK and very clean. reception team was very good. most of them are the only English speaking staff of the Hotel. Pavel Efimenko ,Yunalda Avos and Eukaterina where exelant , very knowlegeable and helpful with good Enslish. The breakfast is far below Europe standart including the food ,(vedgtable are very poor) and all the service standart should be upgraded.and the staf in the restarunts should know basic English. The hotel in total, apart of the receptopn staff) is not prepared for forign torism. Internet service slaw. The taxi ordered by the hotel is more expensive in at leat 25% than Huber or GETT. Class of wine at the hotel bar is 20 EURO why? more double than in Pullman in Germany !!! the demand for deposite and adavance paymyment wile you give your creadite card as security is really very insulting!

« Great weekend, but lounge and beach must improve »

Loved the spaciousness and comfort of the room, and view that beats any other in Sochi. Have to specifically praise bathroom amenities and sun cosmetics that was a nice touch. Also, totally enjoyed the restaurant, where both food and service were excellent! Must notice that service in general is improving with each visit, and all teams (front desk, bar, restaurant, pool, housekeeping) have been doing great job to keep the guests happy and wanting to come back. A little bit of frustrating experience we had at the lounge: choice and quality of beverages (we expected the lounge to offer at least wines, but there was nothing apart from "cocktail" jars, which were empty and not refilled during 30 minutes that we were there) and snacks was miserable, and overall ambiance has been poor for a luxury hotel. Beach was another upset, but I assume it to be a problem of location (Sochi) in general, though the hotel could have worked better to make Pullman (moreover, suites) residents feel more welcome and exclusive. I hope things can improve when the bar and lounge area open later, but staff definitely needs to be trained, and carry Accor brand, better. Another minor thing that could be easily improved is airport transportation. For instance, it could be nice if the driver offered some water and refreshing towels, which was not the case. To summarize, room, food and service have been on the upside, while lounge, beach and transportation could be improved (and other Sochi hotels, including a neighboring 5-star international competitor, do it better).

It was one small problem - the beaches covered with pebbles. But the perfect kitchen, amazing view from the high floor and the friendly staff gave us total relax. Thanks!!!

It was very satisfying, there was a small hick up with Sochi regulation that required me to move into hotel within the first 24 hours, which I have not, as I stayed with friends for 3 days upon entering the country, but it was resolved by the staff during check in. I wish I would have been informed by Expedia.com where I purchased the hotel stay about this rule. Thank you

Splendid breakfast ( both for choice and restaurant interior). Nice beach facilities. Excellent SPA center. The only problem was WIFI through mobile - it kept disconnecting and it was difficult to reconnect. Voucher is a better and easier choice providing stable connection.

« Good situation, good restaurant, but service to be improved »

3 Nights stay with a b'fast inclusive rate. Check in rather cold and minimal in terms of information given about the hotel. No upgrade in spite of my Le Club Gold status. Good diner at the restaurant the first evening, but the atmosphere of the restaurant is cold and it was empty !! On the first morning, we ordered b'fast in room and had the bad surprise to be charged in full for it (usually with a rate inclusive b'fast, if you take in room you eventually have to support a small premium for service, but not the full cost of b'fast !). Very beautiful and clean Spa on the Top floor, with amazing view, good hammam, good swimming pool. In general, wherever you go, the staff is shy to communicate with guests, or sometime unpleasant. In a nutshell, the hotel has good basics, and housekeeping is welle in place (we were surprised though not to have bed turndown in Deluxe Room Category). But the team is young and shy, and should receive additional training about how to better communicate with guests.

Room 1216 was excellent and comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Welcome drink coupon is appreciated. My one recd is to upgrade the quantity of food / canapes served in the Executive Lounge; you are not competitive with the other hotel chains like Marriott for example that offer much (much!) more substantive food and even drinks (alcoholic)! I would suggest to add complimentary red and white wine and maybe beer as well
