« Trying a different Mercure »

We normally stay in the large Mercure opposite the station and were disappointed that it had completely changed and we needed to try a different hotel. I was very pleased with this hotel.Easy to walk to from both the Gare du N'ord and the Gare de l'Est. Beautiful shower room.Large walk in shower and sink.All fittings were spotless.Comfortable beds.Fridge was a bonus. I would have liked a hook on the door to hang wet coats on. All staff were polite and pleasant and ready to help. Breakfast was great with a good selection. Lovely lady and n the breakfast room.Very helpful especially when my husband upended his apple juice. I would be happy to stay here again

« Good hotel, decent location »

First of all, the hotel staff deserves a 10. Very friendly and helpful, every single one of them. The location of the hotel is convenient as it is very close to Gare du Nord and Gare del Est. Despite being next to a main street, the rooms are quiet and you don't really get noise from the traffic. My only negative point is related to the beds. In my opinion, they are very uncomfortable and small. Perhaps a double bed would have been more comfortable, i don't know but we had twin beds and for me, they did not live up to expectations.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was well appointed and clean. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Ideal location if you have an early morning train from Gare du Nord.

It started badly before we arrived, 3 emails were ignored by your staff requesting a restaurant booking. Paris taxi driver didn't know the hotel and drove straight past due to lack of outside lighting, causing us another 10 mins in the taxi. After arrival the staff were fine but we suffered the now expected Mercure problems. Few or no rooms with a bath tub and no rooms with containers for overnight denture use - only very small fragile plastics or cardboard also inappropriate.

« Convenient location for easy access in & out of the city »

The hotel is very conveniently located a couple of blocks away from Gare du Nord station. Its clean, my room even though was an individual room, was pretty spacious too and had a mini fridge to keep my beverages cool. Staff is nice and the buffet breakfast was great. Bed was comfy enough but wasn’t the best, bathroom extraction didn’t work so showering meant the whole room filled up with steam wich I had to let out opening the window wich also meant welcoming the freezing breezes, and the hair dryer was sth out of the 90’s barely blowing enough to dry a toddler’s tear maybe. Also the closet was worned down, clunked and shook everytime I opened it. Inside was the safe, wich was not attached to the closet (it was loose and just tucked away in the closet floor). Overall its very convenient if you are looking a quick in and out of the city through the station, otherwise you have better options for the same price I feel. Next to the hotel there is an indian take out place, they make incredible curries!!

Had a amazing experience when staying at this hotel, staff were great and room was perfect and always clean. When arriving women at reception even gave us a room with a balcony that had a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower. I had bad food poisioning from a resteraunt in the city centre and the women on reception was so helpful and when my boyfriend went downstairs to ask for som fruit she provided it free of charge. However the safe in our room was broken and when we asked for it to get fixed we were told 3 times nobody could fix it. This was the only downfall of our stay.

The hotel is ideally located next to Gare du Nord so after dropping the luggage we started visiting Paris. The hotel is clean, comfortable and has everything you need to have a nice stay without spending a fortune.
