« A good place to stay in Cambridge »

We had a really nice weekend. We travel with a baby and we had a big room and the baby cot was perfect. All the staff were kind and helpful. The bar has good atmosphere and the food is correct. Excellent choice!

Super friendly staff. Such a funky hotel with kind staff. I was a little annoyed that the kitchen staff were rude to our waiter, when it was the kitchen staff who made the mistake, but other than that, a fantastic stay. We would love to come back again!

The location is great - just outside the train station, with bus connectivity, access to taxi stand and a Sainsburys across the road. The front-desk staff are prompt and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable, though a little cramped. The bed is comfortable. The service quality is okay. However, we found very few English language channels on TV and sometimes the housekeeping staff did not provide sufficient tea bags / sugar sachets - small stuff, but can be irritating. Will stay here again when we visit Cambridge.

Amazing hotel, exaclty like the photos and staff were very friendly and helpful! Perfect location right next to the station:) WiFi worked very well and there was a room to put bags after check out!

« A very enjoyable one night stay. »

Check in very smooth. The room & bed very clean & comfortable. All our party located on the same floor. Did not sample the food as we had other arrangements but had a few drinks in the pleasant lounge. Extremely well situated if travelling by train but also parking convenient if driving,

I chose this hotel for its proximity to the station and because I could get a twin room and it was great value for money. I didn’t get the name of the lady who checked us in. She was friendly, efficient and even asked if we were there for a specific event. When I said it was my friend’s birthday she gave us 2 welcome drink vouchers which was a nice touch. The room was clean and had everything you need for a short stay. Easy check out too.

The hotel is new and conveniently located. Upon arrival, received by nice, friendly staff and guided to the room. The room was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds. After a good night sleep, a great breakfast greeted - such a good way to start a busy day!

Booking rooms were incredibly difficult. Only merit was just the location as it is next to the train station. This was the only reason I booked the rooms for my guests. I had to send emails, make phone calls several times to complete the group booking. This experience made us to thinking to use Tavern hotel instead of IBIS.

You no what to expect at Ibis and you get it every time. The standard is consistent throughout the company. One slight niggle, the air con. fan had a tick tick tick noise that developed over-night so had to be turned off. Room 414 Cambridge central. Not really a problem though and I did report it to reception. With regards to booking the room the website would not work therefore I had to use your 'premium rate' phone centre. see below. "Thank you for contacting your customer care service and I confirm to you that your request concerning the technical issue encountered when Logging into your is registered under the reference 20…53."

Lovely welcoming friendly staff. Room clean. Beds and pillows super comfy There was a bit of confusion in our room. We had cookies and free drink vouchers in our room for another guest and as my hubby and I were talking about this a member of staff entered our room using master key and this startled us. I explained about the vouchers and we were told the room has been cancelled by another person and we could use them.
