Passing through so planned a stay at the Mercure. Suitably located to look at the town and sights of the port, the Mercure is an all in one hotel, attached to a sports club, fitness centre and own restaurants. Service excellent and rooms clean and tidy, Hving travelled for two weeks in Australia and a different place every night, this was the highlight as far as accommodation and service went. Thought the buffet dinner was expensive but was probably the only retsaurant open that night in town (Sunday).

Lovely hotel rooms and well designed. Great they you put us next to our family as requested. Also wonderful to have undercover carpark. Bar food wasn't that great for snacking though. Being an Accor member, we always get two free drinks per room and Receptionist when booking in didn't give us these and went back later in the afternoon as only given a card for two instead of the four as had two rooms booked.

Generally good. Instant coffee for breakfast is a total let-down. I don't feel like paying for glamour coffee. I think there should be a large pot of brewed coffee i can pour myself. Bar menu very limited. Would expect a burger

During my recent stay in Gladstone our company also conducted an event in the function room over 2 days. The facility was extremely well presented, the catering was excellent, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a number of participants doing welding demonstrations all morning and arriving at the motel around 11.30am, i called and asked the service desk if they would be able to arrange to have their rooms available for early check in so they could shower before the conference sessions began. The staff obliged and rooms were available in time as requested. Over all an excellent experience, both for the accommodation and conference settings.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Mercure, Gladstone. It meets all our needs. Our one disappointment is that 2 weeks after our stay points have still not been credited to our Accor account.

I'd never been here before and received a very friendly welcome from the reception staff. Because it was my first time I had a few questions regarding layout, car=parking, eateries etc. I found my room to be comfortable, clean and a good size. When I went to iron a shirt for the following day, the iron was not working, I contacted reception and a replacement was at my door within 10 minutes. The only gripe I have is that the ironing board is one of those very small ones that sit on the desktop - not good for ironing adult clothes. I departed the hotel the next day and again, the reception staff were great to deal with.
