the place is so nice , with really nice people there , but there is some serious issues to be improved .. there is an obvious problem in the management and resources most of people there are too much loaded with work , so this is reflected on the service delivered to customer . kitchen and food needs to be with more quality to match the accor group value . animation team in that time was a disaster , i cant imagine how could you accept that level of un professionlity way and language in communication . they some times curse the foreign girls in arabic words and very b .

So I stayed at the Novohotel Marsa Alam from 20th of June 2018 - 27th June 2018. The room itself and facilities were of a 5 star hotel which was amazing. Cleaned everyday to a high standard and fridge was always filled with water which was much needed in the hot heat. My 2 disappointing points of the hotel were the pool, not the actually pool itself as it was lovely but the whole set up with people putting towels on beds although it states in policy that the hotel is against holiday makers doing this. Quite upsetting when you come from breakfast and cannot get in the pool because you have no where to put your towel and belongings. My second let down was the sea, it states at booking that it was white sand however it's far from the truth, it's stony and you have only a little designated patch to go in because of the coral and reefs. Would of been nice to have a beach day but this wasnt possible. Other than that, my stay was amazing. Friendly staff, food was alright, so I am very satifised.

Regarding the sunbeds reservation, it is true that, despite signs are displayed all over the territory regarding this information, it is not easy to avoid this. Meanwhile, your comment will help us to work on this issue in order to provide more comfort to our guests. Kindly be informed that, as most of the hotel in Marsa Alam due to the presence of corals reef, the access to the sea is only accessible by our jetty and the red flag is displayed on windy days for the safety of our guests. « Wonderful stay despite few disappointments »

Overall it was awesome. However, housekeeping was not up for the task and really needs some intervention from the management. Always something is messing; e.g. shampoo, shower gel, teabags, etc. Moreover when i request missing item it took them like forever to bring it. One incident was that i put the bedsheets on the floor indicating that it should be changed and i found that they used the same bedsheets. Also they can hardly be reached via the HK number. I have to get them everytime through the front desk. Actually everyday i had an incident with house keeping.

« A fun filled week with lots of activity, good entertainment and lovely friendly staff. »

The first night was difficult as the rooms were not set up to accommodate the number of guests booked, however staff worked hard to ensure extra beds were provided quickly and we were able to rest after our travels. The rest of the week was superb. I can not praise the entertainment team enough or the staff in the main restaurant; nothing was too much trouble for them and myself, friends and our children were thoroughly entertained and looked after. You feel as that I have made friends for life and Novotel Marsa Alam will always have a place in my heart.
