Good location for St Emilion. Great breakfast. Room was small, especially with a king size bed in it. Grounds werte scruffy and it was not a nice place to sit outside.

The room wasn't available till four but it wasn't a major problem. The location was good and the room was clean. The bar staff seemed a bit unsure of themselves but I think they were new employees.

Different things made my stay not so pleasant. 1) in the room I could hear the person of another room snoring 2)there was no minibar in the room ( to keep my things refrigerated) 3)the carpet in the toilet was not clean 4) I’ve called the reception the night before to call me a taxi at 10:15, since I had appointments with Chateaux. And the reception told me it was fine. The morning after, the taxi arrived 15 mins late and I was super angry. He was talking on the phone with someone else saying in French: “ce client m'a déjà fait trébucher”, but I told him I could understand French!! Plus, he didn’t have a pos to pay with a credit card (and the reception didn’t tell me about it). He didn’t have a compteur, so obviously this was not a real taxi driver.Plus he told me:” well, what’s the difference between 10:15 and 10:30?? Because of him, I had problems with the Chateau. I believe This is an unprofessional behavior from the men but it’s also unacceptable that your hotel provides such an unreliable service. Finally each person has his own experience and certainly mine was not that pleasant. Breakfast was good but I would have preferred to have it included in my stay (rather than paying 9€ for it). Plus, there is no way to reach the hotel other than taxi or car. For 3 km, the taxi costed 20€!!!!! And fortunately I’ve found a prepaid rate for 64€ a night (on booking.com but I booked directly with the hotel), otherwise I would have had to pay 84€ a night and this is a way too high rate for such a hotel!!! And lastly, I don’t personally find professional to see the receptionists at 10:00 am having breakfast in the middle of the other guests (but maybe this is how it normally works in France). The only very kind person I‘ve found was a girl with black hair helping me putting the bike in the garage in the evening shift. So at the end , I would probably avoid to stay here again.

We arrived in our connecting family rooms to find one of the beds had stains on the duvet cover clearly visible from the door. On turning back the duvet, we found further extensive stains (body fluids) and hairs on the sheets and underside of the duvet. I immediately informed the receptionist who came to the room and photographed the stains but did not offer any suggestion to resolve. I had to ask her to change the bedding at which she said “no - I will send bedding to the room but you will have to make up the bed. I can’t do that on my own”. I was shocked and replied that this was unacceptable, I have paid for a room and the least I expect is a clean bed, without having to change the sheets myself”. She again said she would not change the sheets. This argument continued back and forth for a few minutes until I asked for 2 new connecting rooms. She then agreed to check availability and finally moved us to the rooms opposite. There was no apology, and her attitude was unhelpful, defensive and frankly rude.

Our ferry was delayed so it was after 10.00pm when we arrived & we were delighted to get such A LOVELY MEAL AT THAT late hour. The welcome from the young waiting staff was warm & hearty. The place was buzzing & nothing was too much trouble. We had room number 1 & it probably hadn't been cleANED FOR SOME TIME

My wife and I were on our summer trip France and had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Ibis Bordeaux Saint Emilion. The staff, room, location and the restaurant were excellent. We love the Bordeaux area and the hotel's location allowed us to explore the area. We will definitely be staying at the hotel in the future.

I ended up cancelling this stay. The reason being is I book Ibis hotels so I know there is a restaurant/bar available at the of of what is normally a long day travelling. When I arrived at the hotel, the Restaurant/bar area was being renovated. I received no advance warning of this even though you had my contact details and it was booked well in advance. I was told I can ride into a nearby town if I wanted food (there was nowhere in walking distance) So I cancelled the room and ended up staying at a local Campanile for the night.....

I had booked three rooms at the hotel in January to relax with my wife and friends for three days. My wife and I had stayed at the hotel last year and found it very relaxing and pleasant with a good restaurant. This was in complete contrast to our visit this year. The restaurant was closed, workman were everywhere, the bar facility was limited, the swimming pool had been filled in and, despite temperatures in the high 30s, there were no sun shades available outside. There was dust everywhere and we were angered by what we found. Since we had booked six months before our visit, we expected to have been informed that the hotel was being refurbished, giving us the opportunity of booking elsewhere. On our arrival the staff were disinterested and when I asked if they could book us into another, nearby hotel, they at first refused and said we would need to go on Booking.com and do it ourselves. After some discussion, the manager prompted the receptionist to contact a hotel in nearby Libourne, but the facilities were unacceptable. We were told they could not link to other Ibis hotels as they did not have the means. We stayed for one night, but cancelled the other two and returned to the north of France, thus losing the short break we had planned for so long. As our friends were having car problems, they asked the hotel to hold their bags while they went to collect a hire car. My wife and I had checked out and headed north in advance of our friends. When they returned to collect their baggage, one of the reception staff demanded that they pay for the room my wife and I had occupied, accusing us of leaving without paying. When I heard of this I was extremely angry as it merely added insult to injury. Our friends and I regularly book into Accor Group Hotels in Europe, especially Ibis, but our experience has caused us to lose confidence in your brand so in future we are likely to book with a different hotel chain. My main concern was that we were not even offered an apology. Our holiday was ruined entirely due to your company’s total lack of consideration and I intend to seek full compensation. When I asked for a discounted rate because of the inconvenience, the same receptionist that accused me of not paying, refused and claimed I had used Booking.com to make the bookings. This had not been the case and I proved to her that our bookings had all been done by myself using the Accor website. Again, no apology!

The original check-in time was at 12pm, the lady at the reception wasnt friendly at all, she said that the policy changed few days ago and we had to wait until 2pm for getting the room, we told her that we didnt receive any email or notification, in a very rude way she said that it wasn't her problem, we explained to her that we had an important event soon and needed to be sorry, at the end she said that she had a free room for us, she was activating the room card and asked her if she wouldn't ask me for my ID, she replied that she didnt have time for that, how is it possible that they don't ask you for your ID, how does she know my name? How can she know that I paid? She didnt know anything about me and my couple. She was very rude and unfriendly. Another issue with another lady in the night is that I asked her help for taking a taxi, told her that we needed to be on time at train station at least 30 min before, our train was leaving at 8:17am, she said that taxi was coming at 8am, told her that it was risky because we could lose our train, she said that taxi couldn't come before, next day for 2 min we almost lose our train, it was a lot of traffic on the way to Libourne. I am disappointed with the customer service provided by the personnel from Ibis Saint Emilion

For an Ibis, the room was small and very basic. The restaurant was closed and the bar snacks were ridiculously expensive. I was charged 12 euros for a very small microwaved lasagne that was not even worth half that. The receptionist on duty was very friendly and helpful though, as were the receptionists on duty in the morning. The breakfast was good too, but overall l was disappointed.

The room was very small and basic. The bar food was expensive (12 euros for a small microwaved lasagne). I have stayed in lessor Accor group hotels that were better. Reception staff very helpful though.
