Had one of the inner rooms and could not sleep because of the noisy music arrived late, 00:30 and the room was 17 degrees Celcius. The room felt very damp, just like the ac only cools but does not take the moist out of the air. Very friendly personnel though.

The room was clean and nice. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Negatives: A couple of times there were strong smells of cigarette smoke in the room for some reason - I lived in several rooms and experienced it to a certain extent in all of them, but worst in 429. Perhaps the exhaust from the nightclub was dragged in with the fresh air to the air condition? The nightclub was extremely noisy - especially in the reception area - and I would probably have given one more point if it had not been there at all. Also it would have been nice with aircondition in the gym.

« Recieption is a mess, »

At check in I was given smooker room, the receiptionist did not even ask, there was huge noise from the night club, in addition to that I heard some of the staff at recieption front disk saying negative comments about some guests loudly, I am a world teaveler and this is the first time ever I experience this. That was from the night shift staff. The day shift front office team were decent and polite, other than that, things were good

The tv was not working and earlier in the morning there were noise and vibration throughout the room therefore I could not sleep. In addition I always stay at this hotel and every time I find the toilet very dirty.

« Bland stay. Expected a lot better from Mercure »

From being misguided to the parking (taking a longer route to the basement parking), missing concierge desk, delay in getting the luggage up to the room, the odd travel desk timings not facilitating our day trip booking (travel desk being outsourced and not being able to handle bookings over telephone when we were guest at the hotel) and the old AC not keeping our rooms cool. These small things made the experience not so great. At the same time I would like to appreciate Angie for making our check-in quick. I will not recommend anyone to book at the place is still worn out even after the renovation, the competition is doing much better. The pictures on the booking website was not a true portrayal of the property.

The room was big for 2. The smoke detector system malfunctioned twice, housekeeping just barge in to our room without permission. It could have been better if there is toothbrush and toothpaste. Amenity speaking, we are satisfied with the hotel.
