Noisy bar until 3am. Moved rooms but No towels. Toilet flush wasn't working properly, TV didn't work properly however nice spacious room and 20% off food and drink was helpful

Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. However, after a full days travelling and wanting a before bed drink, all 3 bars were playing really loud thumping music including the lounge bar so there was no where quiet to sit and have a drink except the breakfast area which was not particularly inviting ( a member of staff did ask the lounge bar dj to turn it down but it was still really loud. In the morning I asked for a taxi to pick us up at 7:20. At 7:20 when I enquired about my taxi then they organised it and I was late for work. Don’t get me too wrong the hotel is lovely but please think more about different types of quests needs and maybe listen to what they need.

My small family spent a week here over New Year. We chose to buy tickets for the rooftop pool bar party rather than the restaurant gala night, so that we would have an excellent view of the fireworks over the Burj Khalifa - Spectacular! We stayed in the Executive Suite -2 massive rooms with a small room in-between which housed the wardrobes. There is an en-suite toilet/bath/shower and a separate toilet. We only had the sofa bed in the bedroom opened so that we kept the second room as a living room. We chose not to have the minibar stocked and we filled it with drinks from the next door supermarket. (minibar coke = AED30 per can, supermarket pepsi = AED10 for a pack of 6). Alcohol is not sold nearby and so we chose to order it from the hotel at mealtimes. Children are not allowed in the downstairs bar and so if you want an alcoholic beverage in-between meals, you have to go to the pool bar or use room service. The food was always superb, except the foul madames at breakfast, which were too salty for my taste. Breakfast buffet is so worth having but the hotel were also able to deliver a tailor made breakfast to the room. Cleanliness is of a good standard. Any matters of dissatisfaction are handled very quickly. Standard WiFi was sufficient for our needs. No problems with speed. Dubai does not allow VoIP calls and so wherever you are, facetime, BTSmartalk and WhatsApp calling will not work. We loved the pool - perfect temperature all the time. Most of it is shaded but there are sunny spots within it. Shallow end is 1m, deep end 1.6m. The sun loungers beside the pool have variable sun but the ones around the corner (with the view of the Burj Khalifa) have got sun all the time (umbrellas are available if required). The only disappointing thing is that none of the rooms have an accessible balcony. I don't know the reason for making the balconies non-accessible but maybe the next re-furbishment in a few years time could look into it? Special mention to Gladys at the front desk who checked us in and assisted us throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our holiday at the hotel because of the various arrangements she made for us.

« Satisfied overall though some areas could be improved »

It was a Short stay as I was transitting to Europe. Overall experience was good . The only problem was that I was awakened at 1 am by the loud noise from the club playing songs at the lower levels . I called the reception to complain and they were gracious enough to shift my room at that early morning hours I am now back since 22 dec for 4 days and hope this stay will be more peaceful
