I have stayed in Novotel Banjarmasin since years ago. The condition is getting worse day by day. The last stay event without any tissue in the room. Only toilet tissue. The towel colour getting dark. Food is ordinary compare to other Novotel that can serve better food with so many variaty. The only good thing is this hotel nearby the airport and it can be better if Novotel can provide free shuttle on non scheduled time

Seriously, the bed stinksss. I dont know either the bed was too old or because of the humidity. Feels not comfortable for me. The wedding party blocked the way out. For me the hotel needed to give some space for other guest.

+ check in process went smoothly without too much hassle + dining experience is ok - towel doesnt look like it was cleaned properly. you can feel the smell the detergent, but it has some dirty spots - bed linen has some spots. need to be properly bleached/cleaned - cleaner missed some area in the bathroom - bathroom blind need to be cleaned/replaced as it looks old & dirty - no hot water

I had been staying at Novo Banjarmasin for 3rd times for company business and had good experiences on breakfast, clear & nice room and well personnel services. The Hotel also provide dropping off to airport even on early morning and serviced light breakfast; bread etc...that was nice (before @6am). The only thing to improve is keeping clean the pools; too many fallen leaf.

I booked 2 rooms.. A room with a queen sized bed and a room with twins bed.. The staffs are good. They permit us to check in early because we have infant and elder granma.. Rooms are good too. But the toilet in my room 1114 can not flush.. So at 2pm a call the receptionist girl and she said she will send mechanic soonly.. But until 7pm, the mechanic doesnt appear.. The receptionist girl maybe forget to send him.. So i call again and receive by receptionist boy.. He quickly send a very good and helpful mechanic.. Thx for the receptionist boy and the mechanic.. Breakfast is good and delicioso.. We like everything.. My baby like the swimming pool.. Thx novotel

The building, the design and atmosphere pleasing me when i arrive. In my opinion there’s no other hotel in Kalimantan Selatan that was nice as this hotel. The swimming pool and the gym was good, clean and tidy. The disappointment start when i walk down the aisle to the room, there are some used plates and garbage were left down on the floor and garbage trolley at the edge of aisle. I don’t know if the cleaning service are going to clean that but I don’t see any crew was there. These all trash was stay there even after i finish my swimming after 2-3 hours. And about the room, the bathroom was not clean at all. I found out that the floor in shower area was slippery, that could be dangerous for the guests. And also i only got less than 5 tissues paper in the box, i don’t know if this was the hotel plan to help save the environment or just the crew that forget to refill the tissues paper. The rest of the room are okay, the bed is nice, i got a good night sleep that night. I would like to advise the hotel to improve their cleanliness. I have read the similar issues in some travel sites about the cleanliness of the hotel so i though this was an old issue and as novotel brand, this should be can be solved easily if the hotel want to. That’s all my opinion. Thank you and i wish you could be more success than now.
