« Excellent Gateway for a relaxing holiday »

From the lobby downhill to the cable car and eventually to my room, the experience of VIP treatment can be felt all along. I felt being in a heavenly place with beautiful, courteous, friendly and smiling faces in each of the employee there. Thank you for blowing away my stress the moment I start my journey with Mercure Danang French Village. On top of that, the place is fabulous and the French settings is surreal. The place ever lively. Please keep this up.

« Amazing pool with warm water »

The room is cozy and bed is so comfort. I love the ideal of the theme of rooms, my room is Eiffel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It is inconvenience as the pool is located on other block, but it is not far from our block and we had enjoyed the pool alot.

« Over decorated and feel spooky »

It was set in French village theme with over decoration and poor English staff. Being only hotel up there on Bana Hill, the facility was just okay. Nice bed but walk in shower room and toilet were smelly out to the bed area. Unstable wifi and TV signal.

When we check in and out, Only one bell boy support us, even although we are 7 people (included 3 babies). And worse thing was when we check out, the nearer lift (cable car) was not working, so we, ourselves, moved our luggage to downhill. It seemed that people take refuge with trunks. And as it was almost flight time soon, so I asked to call a taxi at the downhill immediately that we will take it, once we are there. But.....as you imagine, no taxi is there and we had to wait 5~10min. I was really ashamed that I am a member of Accor, even Silver member because of no service at all. Ah.... even no welcoming drinking were provided for guest. Please do not expect that our family and my friends will stay at the Mercure French Village Hotel again. I will notice whoever will use this hotel that it is crazy choice!

« Pretty hotel but super bad service »

Check in was fast with clear instruction. Slightly disappointed the hotel staff was not readily to help guest with the luggage to the hotel rooms in other building. Had a nasty experience with hotel staff at the buffet restaurant and check out counter. Totally ignore English speaking guest, providing wrong information. Check out counter staff was more ‘keen’ to handle other hotel guest who were local Vietnamese.

The overall stay was ok. I was there for one night and felt it was more than enough. It was highly crowded with lots of families and children. Positives: - very beautiful village with nice architecture and design - friendly front desk staff at check-in - perfect for one night stay, no more Negatives: - over crowded - mainly families and children (not ideal for singles, couples, or friends) - Food was not very good. Very generic and not very flavorful. - Signage is not clearly defined. Was hard to find the entrance for Golden Bridge cable car and spa

Staff provided good customer service and able to understand customer need,always given warm greetings.We feel statisfaction especially for the breakfast,they special prepare the meal to us when we say that we are vegetarian,all the food is delicious. « The room is a disappointment, the theme park was nice though »

Our room was dirty, bed had stain, furnitures were dusty, bugs (mosquitoes, flies, ants) it might be because of the construction outside. Speaking of construction, that was the view from our room, nothing else but constructions.

« Got it very wrong »

Thought i was booking usual high end Mercure hotel, for a romantic weekend to go hiking in Ba Na hills, horror upon horror discovered this was part of Sun world amusement park. To add further insult I had to pay 400,000 dong to ride a cable car (traumatized my partner who has a fear of heights). No alternative to get there! Didn't get my mountain view room as booked. Captive audience and paid extortionate prices for food and beverages. All while being pushed and shoved by hoards of day trippers. Very disappointed, should have booked via my Accor membership then I might have known what I was really booking.

The check-in counter was absolutely inefficient. The counter before taking cable car up to the hill took more than 20 mins to provide the ticket without informing any info about how to proceed checking in and get a room key. When we reached the French village there was no sign to show the way to check-in counter and again it took more than 15 mins to get the room key. (Accor plus counter was empty - no staff). During checking out was the worst experience in my travelling life, it took more than 37 mins not including 10 mins before i started the stopwatch. No queue at all, everyone just skill the line and stand in front of counter (dont know if these people are hotel guest or not since the security guards allow everyone to come in). The receptionist are really inefficient and reckless - she messed up the invoice and just gave me the wrong ones for few times. SUCH AN UNORGANIZED HOTEL! Cannot believe this is the hotel in Accor group and call themselves 4 star hotel here!

« Very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience where families were made welcome and we were treated like royalty. »

Room was out of this world - a fabulous duplex fabulously furnished and designed with excellent views of the quaint village. There were many activities for all family members and our only regret was not to have booked a 2-night stay. Staff, in particular, the French trainees, showed a high level of customer service and were extremely professional. The pool was great with films for children and water games for all. The hair wash treatment was super and I felt so pampered.

« It was not great but the room upgrade made it better for us. »

The buffet breakfast was bad, it was out of food at 9am and was not restocked. The breakfast service was completely different on the second day compared to the first. In the room the generator ran all night long and was very noisy.

« Horrible »

It was horrible in short. The worst suite I have ever stayed in - Room had a stale smell, water heater wasn't working (was fixed), safe and bathroom scale were not working (couldn't bother to have them fixed), hairdryer could not be used in the bathroom (housekeeping advised that we can't use it in the bathroom, only in the main room due to a power supply difference). I have no idea why you provided flip flops as bedroom slippers. They made such a noise against the wooden stairs. Breakfast was terrible. Porridge was cold and juices were warm. Nothing was tasty. The cable car arrrangement was a mess. We could not have been the only ones who stayed more than a night or the only ones who went to the city. The concierge at the foot of the hill said we had to get a day pass from the concierge upstairs. We did, but the concierge insisted there was no need to. On our return, we were denied entry and brought to the security office. We were made to fill up an incident report and the security even asked for our photos taken at the resort, and he tried to take a photo of our photos! We were made to feel like criminals when it was your hotel that did not have proper proccesses.
