« Disappointed »

Unorganized, untrained staffs, unprofessional opposite to your big company name. Since check-in, i booked online n on the paper said pay at hotel 0 vnd. But when arrived there they just told me that they haven’t charged yet without any documents to show me. System errors make more hassle. Big company but Most staffs cant even speak English. Even though the majority of guests are foreigners. Breakfast place unorganized, staff said its closed when i was there at 10am. Have to go & back many places. The one that we had breakfast loads of fried eggs in a container look so mess, fruit looks so bad some already off. You cant serve food like that. Its look like food in canteen for worker rather than in well known hotel. I stayed in some cheaper hotel even better than this. For this kind of hotel should be more organized & more professional. Thats why I disappointed. Should be improved.

« Very Nice Service! »

The hotel staffs were active and lovely. All atmosphere was wonderful. But in the room, I think the sound insulation is not enough because I heard the people next door playing cards so loud. It was quite clear in wording they talked and shouted for hours. So at midnight I walked down to lobby and told the staff that my family could not sleep. This polite staff said sorry to me then in 15 minutes they stopped their noisy game and went back to their rooms. I don't blame the hotel at all. This is just a sincere comment.

Hi was Perfect, all the way from checkin to check out. The staff was courteous and helpful. The heated pool, the movie by the pool side, room interiors everything made our stay memorable. However, playing in the pool i lost my 2 rings. I have already to you about it and had informed the pool staff and the reception. I have friends visiting again this week and I hope the rings have been found till then. Hoping for a positive reply.

« Great accommodation but poor food. »

The room was very nice and comfortable. We did a buffet dinner at the newly open restaurant by the postal cafe and check in desk. The food options were very small. For example the roast chicken, there were only a few pieces of cut up chicken and bones. And it was never replaced. I was given the impression that it would be carved meat and fresh stir fry but there were no chefs there cooking. The breakfast was busy, there were no coffee cups or juice glasses available for almost 15 minutes. The food that was available like fried eggs, bacon and waffles were all cold. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made out experience enjoyable

Staff was not friendly during check in. Hotel was huge but direction was so unclear from lobby to room. Was raining heavily but I had to look for the room without assistance. Room condition was okay but has bugs. Bed was good.

« It was nice but a little bit loud »

We just stayed for one night. It was nice but some of the timing for places wasn’t very clear. It said lots of places were open “late” but we went somewhere at 10pm for karaoke and drinks and they were already closed. I understand it’s the slow season, I work in a restaurant so I know how it is. But maybe have an actual time that places close so people don’t get confused. Thank you

We were given an excellent room with a great view and the staff , starting from the reception downhill to the bell boy and front office staff in the hotel, all were very cordial and helpful. As a guest of the hotel, we were given priority over the hundreds of other visitors queuing for the cable cars going uphill. From the Mercure Hotel, the main attraction , i.e. the Golden Bridge, was hardly a few minutes away. And the beautiful French Village is all around the hotel. Therefore, we could visit these attractions multiple times. In all, the stay at the hotel was great !

Staff were great, very friendly and helpful - check in process was quick and our room was ready early. Down sides, the air con was stuck on 24 degrees all night and wouldn't get any cooler - made for a sleepless night for myself and partner. The room had a old, damp smell. The breakfast was all very cold - seems they cook in large amounts and leave the food there to sit until it runs out, either the hot lamps don't actually work or they are not hot lamps. Tried just having toast, croissants etc instead of the hot food but these were stale. Very disappointing.

« Worth recommending to others! »

This was my second time at Mercure. This time is much better than the first in all aspects. I love our room, no need to climb up, the furnitures are beautiful, the room is spacious. The restaurant assigned for our breakfast is very near our bldg. the staff are all nice and accommodating! There are newly opened entertainment sites. I love the Halloween decors at the park. It would have been perfect if not for the intermittent rain.

everything is great except for the service in your hotel restaurant, we take our breakfast there and the food is not delicious as we expected, coz its a 5 star hotel, we expect a sumptuous breakfast. needs improvement to the reception area and restaurant. ( the utensils are not clean and the food is not so good).
