The hotel is very functional, the people helpful and location is the best,close to everything. Total recommend.Staff works fine,printing boarding passes and tickets,even prepared a baggie with breakfast to take to the airport. Very nice.

Pleasant and professional staff at check in and in the bar/restaurant. Housekeeping was particularly good, the room was very clean as was the unbleached bed linen and towels, bed was surprisingly comfortable. Of particular note was the cleanliness of the public areas/lifts. A second chair in the room would be nice! We will definitely go there again.

« One of the best city breaks I have experienced, mainly thanks to the Ibis South Bridge »

Friendly reception, competent staff. I was a little confused when I couldn't find a reception desk but Stacey soon put me at ease. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to dine in the hotel - had dinner on my second evening and it was absolutely exquisite. Excellent ladies behind the bar - Lauren and Nicole. Room was comfortable and clean with very good shower unit. The free Wi-Fi was much appreciated. I had the feeling everyone was trying his or her best to make the guests' stay as memorable as possible - I was very impressed.

We were very dissapointed in how basic our room was, one small chair and table,no dressing table had to boil kettle on the floor.The bathroom pod has a large step into it,both tripped over it in the dark.

I would like to confirm that all our rooms meet and are designed according to the Ibis standards, however we do appreciate that every guest is individual so this may not fit everybody's preferences. This is why we have a full team of highly trained, dedicated hoteliers who are available 24/7 to assist all guests. If something is wrong or not as you’d expect while staying, we always encourage you to let us know while in house and we could try to fix the issue. We were not aware you were not happy about the room 958 (– which is one of our biggest and best standard double rooms). Letting us know about it at the check-out and/or on this review does not give us a chance to offer you a different room or maybe offer an alternative solution. The issue you encountered with the kettle is something we are greatly sorry for and I can confirm that this is something we have now resolved in every room. Easy check-in with friendly staff. Room was a good size. Found a few hairs (eek) in the bathroom! Good provision of towels but not for large people! Nice tv. Basic bedding but it was a comfortable bed! Room 802 is near the lift and removed from where the nightclub is - phew. Hotel ideal for local eateries such as Viva Mexico on Cockburn Street. Breakfast was ok - I was met with a bit of confusion when I asked for veggie sausages. The coffee was great. Nice touch to have free hot chocolate in the evenings!

The hotel is nice with high ambitions. The staff is young, trendy and very helpful and seems to like their job. Good service 24/7. The rooms, clean but simple. Breakfast is fresh but a bit few options for my taste. The location is great and walking distance.

Very enjoyable stay in great location. Brilliant facilities and extremely comfy bed in quiet room as requested. Can't fault and even enjoyed the caravan style bathroom. 24 hour bar/eating facilities and costa and sainsburys downstairs. Everything on your doorstep and will definitely stay again when have other concerts at festival theatre.

Good location, clean hotel, good breakfast, helpful staff and good services, e.e left luggage room, printer available to print out boarding passes. BUT, can't reccommend completely because of the level of noise on friday and saurday night disturbing our sleep.
