Smoke smell in the room

Have been to ibis hotels several times. But this time things were wrong. When I arrived at 10pm and checked my room there was a bad smell of smoke. I called 20 times the phone number mentioned in the reception as a night number but Noone responded. So I had no option because of the late night but to stay and smell the smoke all night. Next morning, I shared this with receptionists but I did not get even apologies from them.

Very good. The breakfast is excellent for a budget stay. The room was clean and had good shower. It is very conveniently located. Staff friendly. I would prefer 2 pillows. A bit of attention to the outlook from the breakfast area?? Dead planters and decapitated trees!

Clean room, reasonable quality for what I was paying. Ease of access. Liked the availability of a microwave. Breakfast was poor - stale bread. Coffee was pretty good though.

Excellent but rather too short a stay. Our room was spotlessly clean & well appointed, representing superb value for money. The beds were comfortable & we slept very well. Breakfast was ample & staff were friendly & courteous. All in all a great stay - we will be back.

Hotel is starting to look a bit run down to be honest. Lots of mold in the bathroom, stained ceiling, and the TV didn’t work due to a very bad signal. The bed was absolutely good — the top bed formour daughter wasn’t made though — not very welcoming, considering the late arrival. At breakfast there was no reception at all, which made it feel rather impersonal. We have slept at this hotel on several occassions. This used to be a logical choice, but we will consider other options for the first time. All in all it’s still pretty nice value for money — but it used to be great instead of “pretty nice”.

One coffee machne is not enough!

Everything is good except - like most Ibis Budgets - there is only one coffee machine. Result - constant queueing at breakfast time! In this case at Givet the machine broke down for around 15 minutes and there was no alternative. Bring back the good old coffee jug!

I booked hotel directly from hotel website. when I reached at hotel at 2:00 pm, the reception gate was closed and nobody from hotel representative was available. After that I come to know that i can check in through HMI. While check in through HMI it shows that your booking is cancelled and there is no room available with your name. After three long hours of wait, hotel representatives came and issued room to me. It was highly devastating situation for me and family to wait for three hours to get room.

Stay was really remembering, however staff are not so cooperative. They don't speak English. Many times no one available at reception, even during reception desk opening time.Otherwise the stay was very comfortable.

Great location, convenient for local services. Hotel standard much as expected, just, but fixing a few faults would really improve the experience. Shower spray would not hold up on the bar - really annoying. light in bathroom flickered. Fan in toilet never stopped. hole in duvet cover. Had to slam door to get it to lock.
