Overall, it was very good. I'd like to note that the staff is very helpful and nice. The rooms are bright and clean. However, one time I noticed that the towel had someone's hair on it. So, this is the only issue I had during my stay at Ibis.

We were so tired when we arrived as we just landed from a Long haul flight. I didn’t expect ibis Astana team to decorate up our room in celebration of the beginning of our marriage / honeymoon. 1. THE FIRST DAY THE ROOM CLEANING HAS NOT BEEN DONE 2. I USED TO HAVE A SHELF BESIDE THE CLOTHES HANGING PLACE, THAT WAS NOT EXISTING 3. THE BED WAS AS USUAL COMFORTABLE 4. THE INTERNET WAS GOOD 5. THE RECEPTIONG ATTITUDE WAS GOOD 6. I TRIED THE RESTAURANT FOR ONCE, BUT SINCE THEY TOLD ME THAT I HAVE TO PUT DEPOSITE MONEY BEFORE USING THE BAR OR RESTAURANT AND AS THEY DONOT ACCEPT USD AS DEPOSITE AND THEY DONOT ACCEPT THE CREDIT CARD THAT THEY ALREADY CHARGED THE TWO ROOMS THAT WE HAVE, I FOUND IT CAN MIX MY DAY TO PAY CASH EVERY TIME I USE SOME THING AND HAVE THERIR 3CM SQARED RECEIPTS, AS IT WILL BE DIFICULT TO KEEP THESE RECEIPT (I NEED TO SHOW TO THE COMPANY I WORK FOR TO USE AS EXPENDTURES), THEN I DECIDED TO HAVE MY BREAKFAT, FOOD OTHER CONSUMPTIONS FROM OUT SIDE THE HOTEL. THE LAST MONTH (NOVEMBER) I HAVE BEEN TO KIEV AND ALGER IBIS BUT I DID NOT FACE SUCH RULES!! WE AHVE EATEN AND DRINK FREELY THERE. WHY I DIDNOT DEPOSITE MONEY IN TENGE? BECAUSE I DONOT KNOW HOW MUCH I WAS GOING TO SPEND! WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I SPEND MORE THAT THE DEPOSITE AT MID NIGHT AND THEY DONOT ACCEPT USD AND I DONOT HAVE TENGE?? OR WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF UNTILL THE LAST DAY I DID NOT SPEND WHAT I DEPOSITED AND THEY GIVE ME THE REST? WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH THESE TENGE! BRING BACK TO TURKEY!! THIS WAS BOTHERING THE SECOND DAY OF MY ARRIVAL THEY CALLED ME AT 10PM TO TELL ME THAT I HAVE A WELCOMING DRINK THAT I CAN USE AT THE RECEPTION! I THINK THAT THEY ARE NOT AWRE OF THE SPIRIT OF THE WELCOMING DRING AND THINK OF ITS VALUE! WELL I TOOK THE VOTUER ON DEPARTURE AND I WILL KEEP IT AS A MOMORY FROM ASTANA IBIS. ANY WAY IT WAS OK! Doesn't works climate control at room , but other things were without any problems . Reception desk was superb. Restaurant and bar personal was very pleasant also. Food and drink were on 4 star hotel level at least. So next time only Accorhotel network at Astana.

the waiters to serve you beer from the resturant will take ages untill i was used to shuttle myself . it was not what i was expecting.

Staff was nice and friendly during my stay for the Global Health Conference for PHC. Room was lovely. However the food during lunch and dinner did take quite some time to make.

I am staying at Ibis Astana several times and always very satisfied with service. After On Line check in I received a mail asking as we would like to have an additionnal bed for our 8 years old sun. Very professionnal. At arrival after midnight key was ready and we get to our room without any delay.

Everything was good. I like it. I have been there for very short time; 3 night and with a very tough schedule on Global Conference on Primary Health Care. Actually, except sleeping I didn't spend much more time there. It would be better if I get some necessary cosmetic item like, shaving gel, after shave lotion, soup, antiseptic, hand wash, body lotion moisturizer, tooth paste, brush, shaver, razor and other day to day necessary thing. We got only liquid soup. We didn't have time enough to go market event order for room services. So, if your hotel has no arrangement/budget for this you might asked me what I need for toilet.

I initially thought that there will be complimentary water every day. But apparently its not. Water is basic necessity and you're selling it for 2 USD per 500ml. That is absolutely ridiculous. I am definitely not going back to this freakin hotel anymore.

« Overall impression is good, if not mention minor inconveniences. »

The main inconvenience - windows couldn't be opened while conditioner was not working. Lack of fresh air strongly affects not only health, but also the impression. It could be helpful if the breakfast was not only announced to start at 6.30, but also meals ready by that time.
