it's nice stay, but when I reached hotel I discovered that not included breakfast, I did not find it when I booked from App. I was disappointed for that, even when I told reception staff they said I should pay some amount of money again for breakfast. so I did not had it. Clean Rooms, Big Swimming Pool (extra for Swimmers), Separate Pool for fun. Too far away from the Hotspots of the Island. Until we asked for a additional timber mattress, the bed was hard as a Stone. The Beach is very stony.

Location is not so good,a long drive from the pier. The beach in front of the hotel is very small and rather useless. Services and rooms are good,helpful clean and comfortable. Breakfast is expensive and not value for money. Good enough for it’s cheap price.

Overall, it was good staying at the hotel. However, I personally think that the lights at the room I stayed are not enough. It's quite dark and have only fews plug. I am satisfied with the views and overall of the room. Only lights and plugs are not sufficient. Also, one of the staffs gave me wrong information as well. So it would be better if the staffs take care of customers equally.

I stayed in Pool Villa, very nice room. Food is good both Breakfast and at the beach. Staff are excellent with high-level of service mindset. I really feel welcome here with all staff from front desk till the beach. I will surely re-visit again.

The Hotel is a beautifully designed and situated. We enjoyed the amenities like the beach bar, private pool, direct access from the room to the beach and the spacious "Villa" type room. The breakfast was very rich and creative with daily changing items.

this was our second visit to Mercure. we visited previously on December 2014. back then we had a few problems with the WiFi, this time it worked great! we really love your hotel and the places around it that make south Koh Chang such a lovely place to visit again and again. The facilities are great - we especially loved the gym and the swimming pools. the business room as well (great cookies) we would like to re-visit in the future, so if you could get us a nice price for returning, we would love it. Things to improve: 1. The mosquitoes really bothered us. during the previous visit it wasn't so bad. We think that part of the problem is with the door to our room - the it opens and closes, many mosquitoes found there way into the room. During the room cleaning - while it was cleaned, the door was completely wide open, again with lots of mosquitoes entering the room. 2. The cleaning of room could be improved. we came for 15 nights (!) the sun balcony wasn't cleaned during our stay, it had a lot of spider webs. 3. The room service special offering for pizza didn't work. When we called and asked for it, it was difficult to communicate our order - we were billed for the full price of the pizza and not with price on the special offering. The pizza itself was very very raw and wasn't tasty. thank you for the service during our stay. we hope to visit again soon. Yaniv and Limor

« Beautiful resort, but service is lacking in key areas »

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay, but the customer service lacked in some key areas: Daily room tidying - this was appalling, most days our room was not made up until 5-6pm and on numerous times had to be requested. Each day, when the room was made up, one of the following happened, our beach towels were taken away and not replaced, our large bathroom towels were taken away and not replaced, no hand towels whatsoever. Our room safe ran out of batteries, so we could not lock any valuables away. It took 3 days and 5 requests to the main reception, and 4 different sets of people, to replace a battery in a safe. The restaurant staff and beach bar staff were extremely uncoordinated, and although I know they were doing their very best, the lack of clear English meant that orders were constantly wrong and the length of time it took to make drink and food orders made our experience unpleasant. Finally, mid-week we got a fairly blunt letter stating that we had gone over the deposit limit we had placed on our room for the week. We put down the requested deposit upon check-in, yet the letter was very demanding and wasn't very nice to receive mid-stay.

« Happy with accomodation and facilities. »

We found the accommodation and the facilities at the Mercure Koh Chang Hideaway very good. The only issue we had was with room cleaning/make up and the changing of towels. On a couple of occasions not servicing of the room was carried out and on a number of occasions we had to ask for clean towels which was a little disappointing.
