Need a refurbishment

This studio needs a refurbishment (lack of paint on the walls, lots of stains on the carpet in the bedroom/living room...). I found the night a bit expensive for the quality of the studio, but maybe this is a normal price for Bordeaux. It is is quite well located, the staff is nice. Please note the reception closes at 9pm, if you arrive later than that, you will receive a code to get in by email and text message.

We liker the room. Nice with a balcony and glad for the fan AS IT was very hot. We arrived on s sunday and AS reception was closed 12-14 we were not able to store our luggage. We called the phonenumber but the voicemail was saturated. The hotel is in a calm location a bit away from center or any shops and busstops

Cramped, stuffy room. Stained carpets, short of hot water for two people, uncomfortable bed. Breakfast left a lot to be desired: wouldn't say it was continental at all, lacked meats and cheeses. Toaster was temperamental and no milk in coffee machine. Tables always dirty from previous guests. The door handle came off inside the room. It was fixed promptly. Pool closed even tho the weather was 30+ degrees out?!

Nevertheless, I apologize that the service did not fully meet your expectations. Adagio access aparthotels are however eager to offer you the best quality of service for your stays. In addition, before planning a large-scale renovation, we have initiated floor works in several of our apartments to improve the comfort of our customers step by step. You can ask one of these apartments before checking-in (given upon availability). That's a shame you didn't enjoy our bedding, new from last summer though. Our breakfast already offer 3 different cheeses and unfortunately, meat is for the higher range, Adagio (3/4 stars). Adagio access is the economic range (2 stars). We take into account your other comments to improve the breakfast service. Unfortunately, the pool is shared with other residences and manage by the co-owned syndicate. Then we are not the decider of the yearly opening/closing dates of the pool and it was not possible to change at the last minute. Usually temperatures are less hot in Bordeaux after mid-september. I was in Bordeaux for the Marathon du Medoc and just wanted a comfortable bed. The room was clean and the bed good. The hotel was very helpful ensuring we could access the room as we arrived out of hours. A bit noisy in the street, which can't be helped, but because there is no air con we did have to keep the window open. But overall very good.

ARRIVAL The door was closed. Impossible to get any help. We called the telephonenumber, but only french language, an after few seconde only pip pip pip. Disappointing. What about a answer both in english and french, so almost everybody had a chance to get a bed they have paid for.

Dear Guest, I thank you for your feedback. Our reception closes at 21h during the week and an emergency call system is put in place from that hour. We actually knew about your call which would have last 5 minutes with the person on the phone. If you got your keys after 9pm, someone gave you the code of the safe. How did you get it please? the accommodation was simple, and the swimming pool good. The accommodation could be improved with air conditioning, and a clean up of the kitchen area including perhaps some coffee to go in the coffee maker.

The location of the hotel is good, it's very close to the city centre and in a quiet and nice neighbourhood. The room was nice and the kitchen had all the necessary amenities (except for kettle). The staff were always very helpful and friendly. Overall, very satisfied with the experience at the hotel. Only disadvantages were that there was no air conditioner (although we knew when we booked the room, but it was difficult on very hot days) and that the room was not being cleaned or towels were not being changed or throwing out the trash, it was a paid service.

I enjoyed the room and the pool. The staff at the reception were well-informed and friendly. However, my room was on the third floor facing the street and the first night the neighbor across the street held a very loud party, with music blasting and people talking and shouting until 3:00 in the morning. Because no one is at the reception at night, there's no one to help in this situation. Similarly, another night there was a man on his phone on the street who held a one-hour loud conversation at midnight and I could hear every word. It was very difficult to sleep and there was no one to help manage this. I don't think I would stay at Rodesse again because of this.

Stayed one week, they didn't clean the room during the entire stay, neither change beds of towels. Breakfast similar to ibis budget, don't expect much freshness except some fresh fruit. For the price it should have at least some ham and fresh orange juice. Breakfast is only served after after 7am (7.30 Saturdays/ Sundays) Reception doesn't work 24h. No airconditioning Parking fee 13€ day, no free parking nearby Pool is kind of unusable. It has a fridge witch is a nice to have, you can also cook something light but if you dont leave the utensils clean you must pay a 50€ cleaning fee. Surrounding area is safe and calm, you can easily walk to city center ( Opera 20min) and metro (5min). Has a silver member didn't find any kind of benefit. I expected much more from a Accord, will book IBIS or Mercure next time in short stays in Bordeaux, AIRBNB for longer stays.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations despite our efforts. It is true that the concept of "aparthotel" as Adagio/Adagio access is different that a classic hotel. Its doesn't include change of towels or bed sheets for short stays. We provide this service for longer stays than 7 nights. It is "like if you were at home" when nobody enter in your apartment. Indeed we ask customer to clean the kitchen before checking-out but extra formulas are possible to book if you want us to take care of the cleaning during your stay or if you don't want to clean the dishes before leaving. Be aware that Adagio brand is working on a new breakfast offer to improve your satisfaction, ham might be available soon. Our residence is a is a 2 stars aparthotel, so will get a higher level of services in a 3 or 4 stars hotel as Ibis or Mercure but for a higher budget too. I appreciate you shared your concerns and my team and I will keep on working on everything we can improve to satisfy better our guests. The staff were helpful. The room ok but in need if some refurbishment new floor covering a coat of paint. The location good as is walking distance to the tram and local supermarket. I am not sure why I ended up with a limo to take me to the train station rather than a standard taxi. It was very expensive.

False advertising on site. Very disappointed.

Hi, We realize there are 2 aparthotel hotels in Bordeaux. When we booked the hotel, we were shown the address, map dot location, as well as photos from the more central, 3 star hotel. We thought we were staying in a completely different neighborhood that we were. When we arrived, we learned that we were booked for the further 2 star hotel, which did not have a gym (something we specifically called and asked for on the phone), and more importantly, it was far from the center. We promptly checked out and didn't stay. We ended up booking another hotel, which was now much more expensive than we planned, given the short notice. We are really disappointed and would like to speak to someone about the miscommunication and false advertising which led us to a booking we didn't want. Thanks. Tanya and Mitch 33… ts…

We were upgraded to an apartment (which was nice). Apartment was spacious, quiet, comfortable bed. Good facilities. Decor is a little dated, e.g. new carpet would be good. Reasonable price. Handy location for us as it was literally a few metres from the apartment of the person we were visiting.
