The room was lovely, the room service was good as was the food but i was unable to make an early morning through the tv as it didn't work and there was then no answer from reception or the bar for 20 mins to book one. I eventually got through the bar who said they would book the early morning call. The early morning call didn't happen - too stressful when it shouldn't be.

« Had two sleepless nights because of the noise in the town »

The hotel is central, the staff are all very nice, the bedroom was fine but we couldn’t sleep Saturday night till after 3am - even with the windows closed it felt we were in a noisy disco with fights going on. Sunday night was noisy too but not as bad as Saturday.

« Very pleasant with excelent front of house staff »

The receptionist who booked us in was very good and offered excellent local restruant recommendations which we used and were extremely happy with her recommendation. The only fault was that the heating in the hotel room was set to high and we were unable to turn the heating down.

« Professional service but lots of disturbances »

The hotel staff were excellent. The room had amazing views across the river and was comfortable, if a little on the small side. Unfortunately, there were disturbances from other guests in the first night. The second night there were disturbances from the street on the second night with shouting and fighting.

New room décor is good, but room chairs were very cheap looking, plasticky and with no upholstery. Leaving your older chairs would actually have been more comfortable.

Would have preferred my tea at breakfast served in a pot and with a cup and saucer rather than a mug as it’s nice to be able to top up your cup with more hot tea if you wish.Was satisfied with everything else.

Stay was confortable. If I remember correctly we stayed in room 506 or 507.. When the window was open the room was fine, but once it was closwd for a while you could tell that the air quality in the room was guite poor and stuffy. That was the only minus. Staff very helpful and friendly.

« Pleasant stay in central Inverness »

Comfortable room, nice shower. I slept well although colleagues were disturbed by revellers in the street outside after the pubs shut. My only disturbance was an early morning call at 5.30am to the room next door (an adjoining room)! Breakfast was fine although I would have preferred proper coffee rather than having to queue up for machine coffee. Also disappointed that poached eggs not an option.

Warm welcome on arrival, room clean and comfortable. Nice meal enjoyed in bar. My only negative is, as a regular visiter, my Le Club points are rarely credited to my account.

« Not what I would have expected »

Worken up 5.45am by Council emptying a significant number of dustbins. Seems though the Hotel accept this!!! Scoured the Country for the flimsiest toilet paper they could find.
