Stayed for 4 nights on business. I was made to feel welcome on arrival, and the next morning the lady serving breakfast was extremely polite. Room service was delivered promptly and my room was always made up to a good standard. My only minor gripe was it took a few attempts to get room service to answer the phone on one occasion. But this in no way spoilt my stay.

Staff great very helpful throughout hotel. Room basic as was breakfast choice out on the buffet. Bread on offer was not nice. Would I say value for money , probably not. Stay at hotels regularly and this was expensive in comparison.

Room is old, shower doesn't work well, bed is good. Reception slow Bar and restaurant: DESASTER There is no staff ever you always have to ask for them at the reception. Bar not stocked properly, 3 wines not available. When you ask for the menu I think it's clear you want to order food but after 20 min of wait you again have to go to the reception to look for the waiter. Bar temperature too low, freezing. Food regular to bad, depending what you order, hamburgers overcooked and dry. Breakfast, to slow, waitress in the kitchen all the time. Not a Mercure at all,

Receptionist was exceptionally helpful when I signed in on Monday night, she was able to sort the mixed up booking dates for which I was very grateful. Overall, room was comfortable, bed was great, staff were helpful, friendly and polite. Didn't use the excellent pool facilities this time but have in the past and will in the future.

I was highly disappointed with the Bewdley Mercure hotel, on arrival in the bedroom a smell of damp could be smelt, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, and then curtains I had to hook back on as They were falling off the rail, the room hadn’t been cleaned to a high standard as there was bits of dust and debris on the floor. The bedding was also dirty. We then decided to go to the bar where I ordered drinks, however the card machine wasn’t working and I had no cash so I had to go without a drink. Highly disappointed in such a high reputable hotel company Mercure. I have got photos to show you the condition of the room is requested.

Poor service, untrained staff, windows falling to pieces, wallpaper peeling off the walls, dated decor, charged for breakfast when I had none and specifically advised I wouldn't have breakfast. Told I was being charged for the room upon arrival.

Average Accommodation with Above Average Prices” Your score 6.3 There is an Annexe with comprehensive Spa, Pool and Coffee Lounge. Extensive Parking Area Free Wifi Nice Countryside Location Main Hotel Very Outdated with Severe Staffing Issues. Staff were either none existent, demoralised or under trained. Bedrooms in need of a refresh and deep clean. No Complimentary Tea or Coffee in Rooms despite there being a Kettle and Cups / Mugs. Main Bar Area Soul less and Extremely Cold. Service Slower than Slow. Drinks and Bar Snacks Extremely Expensive.

Hi Stayed at the Mercure Bowdon Hall in the past and that was far better than the Heath. Dirty room, food quality poor and not hot, very cold dining area. Kelvin R.

Room was a good size but needs to be modernist looked like it was out of the 80s no safe to put your valuables corridors were cold didn't like my cocktail it was like a cheap holiday drink shower was hot and the best bit was the breakfast the staff were very friendly

Service poor during the day .....breakfast service good ..evening meal service good.......prices for wine etc overpriced..another couple who were staying agreed. We would have had wine with meal but £24 is a joke
