Myself and husband had a fantastic 2 night stay at mercure hotel Ayr ,checking in was quick and easy and the lady at reception was lovely, she couldnt be more helpful, all hotel staff were great from bar staff to the breakfast staff ,and the breakfast was lovely highly recommend, hotel is lovely and clean and rooms are great , will definitely book again

The hotel was well located for Ayr town centre, we had the classic twin room and there was plenty space to move around although could have done with another chair as there was only 1 for 2 of us. Decor was a bit dated but everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good.

Great location. Hotel clean. Staff very pleasant. Rooms a bit dated. Shower pressure poor but would not stop me staying again
