Fantastic 2 might stay, room comfortable & clean, enjoyed the swimming pool & sauna. Staff friendly. We found the drinks to be a bit expensive £18 for 2 glasses of wine hmm

« A bit disappointing »

Overall it was a bit disappointing as the rooms are pretty outdated and need some maintenance, although the bed was good. Further the large amount of rude Asian guests that you had especially at the breakfast is not helping in have a nice and relaxing experience.

The hotel needs some money spending on it. The decor is looking very tired and out of date. The comfort/decor of the rooms is also in need of a desperate improvement. The menu in the restaurant is also a little unimaginative, however the food was very nice in spite of this.

« Very poor outdated hotel and facilities. »

Reception not very friendly. Room very poor standard and extremely cold. Only one useless electric heater. Breakfast was shocking, the porridge you could sole boots with, the hot items were not and not replenished quickly enough for the guests. The restaurant was NOT busy either. Overall the hotel was very drab and in dire need of redecorating. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone.

« Great shopping weakend »

We had a lovely stay at the Mercure hotel Livingston in a great location for our shopping weekend to the Livingston centre Staff were all very nice and helpful rooms were comfortable and warm a bit tired but considering what we paid l thought it was very good value, would definitely use again. Some other guests were a bit much at breakfast as they were still dressed in there P.Js and there lanauge was a disgrace so we were glad we hadn't booked breakfast for both morning. It wouldn't put me off going again.

Room was ok,location was good for shops,only downfall was there was a function on so couldn't really sit in bar,however after I was charged £8.50 for a pint lager and a fresh orange and lemonade I didn't want to sit in bar Long,would of needed a bank loan for drinks.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we had a triple room, which was lovely and clean very comfortable, possibly a little tired in places but good where it mattered. Party night on but as we are early to bed we were not disturbed in any way, so had a good night's sleep.

« A brief but comfortable stay »

The Mercure livingstone is a comfortable and relaxing place to stay . The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, the mattresses are very good . The bar is nice for a glass of wine . The food was nice maybe slightly overpriced as the portions are very small. The hotel is located a very short distance from all the shops and restaurants in livingstone who've is fantastic.

Room was cold, beds where good, room was clean. First evening in your restaurant wasn´t so good experience, waiting time was long, we order soft drinks - > we get bottles but no classes, tried to get attention of the waitress was difficult. Not so bad experience, it could be possible that we come again.
