Location is good, room and breakfast facilities as advertised, actual stay was fine. I was asked for basic personal details upon check-in, including my email address, however it wasn't explained to me that this would then be used to auto-subscribe me to the corporate rewards scheme, which I did not wish to join. I feel this is dishonest and I advise other travellers to be wary of how your data may be used without explicit consent.

Stayed for three nights here. A very pleasant stay, from Reception on the Thursday until Sunday on my checking out everything was great! Room was comfy, bed was nice and breakfasts were nourishing! Thank you!

The hotel was clean, comfortable, the staff we had dealings with were friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but it is city centre so space is a premium. The big problem is the temperature. I would have expected the room to be a little uncomfortably warm in July/August but not October. We turned the heater off and still the room was stifling. We thought opening the window would be the perfect fix except this is Glasgow city centre so good luck sleeping with the noise. Bottle bins being emptied at all hours and drunks wandering about shouting their conversations. Two night of next to no sleep kind of spoiled our weekend and despite everything else being perfectly fine, I sadly wouldn’t stay here again.

See title above. Even the bathroom was tiny and caulk around tub was sloppy. Mold around tub and floors. dated, not updated, much less upgraded. Having said that, the staff was very friendly, especially the kitchen staff. The breakfast selections were few but I suppose adequate. This building is in dire need of upgrading the interior and all rooms. Location in Glasgow City Centre is excellent. A real estate pro would declare the land is not improved to “highest and best use”. Owner is short-sighted to ignore this.
