My stay was only for 1 night. The room was clean enough, however having hot weather in Glasgow meant that the room was very hot and clammy. Even with the small window open as much as I could of opened it, it was still unbearable at times. There was no air conditioning either. The shower had almost no power at all and took a long time to heat.

After staying at The Ibis Styles Glasgow West hotel several times and having nothing but the best stay possible each and everytime, my first stay at Mercure couldn’t be further from it. The room didn’t feel clean, the walls were dirty and holes still visible despite being plastered over. Tthe size of the bed was great but it wasn’t as comfortable as I’d hoped. The absolute worst thing about my staff was the towel in the bathroom that had dried blood on it. This was incredibly disgusting and shows a distinct lack of care from the house keeping to miss it and put it into any room. I actually took the towel to reception to show them, all I got in giving it to front of desk was “sorry, i’ll pass on a message” nothing else, incredibly disappointed that there wasn’t any care or genuine apology for it. I also replied to an email sent from the hotel asking how my stay was which I replied to but have so far had no reply. Really disappointed and won’t be returning, will continue to stick with Ibis Styles Weat.

Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Well stocked bar for a night cap. Fantastic breakfast in the morning.

Room was cold, and being on the corner and next to the lift and fire door it was noisy. Couldn’t all eat together as there was only one chef on duty and we had to have two sittings.

The room was small but what I would expect from a city centre room. The room was clean, tidy and had a firm comfy bed which suited me. Dinner was only okay and didn’t seem prepared to order more out of the freezer. Breakfast was nice in the morning. Best thing about the hotel was the staff who were all very friendly and helpful.

The staff were friendly. Hotel room very small and very dated - really needs a refurb. Surprised that a 7th floor room had a window that opens wide and that someone could climb out of. Disappointing stay as expected more from a Mercure hotel and a price that should reflect that. Will stay somewhere cheaper next time in Glasgow.

Great check in and out experience. Good location, powerful shower. Breakfast pretty good The hotel rooms are appalling and are incredibly overpriced. The walls and floor are very dated and dirty. No fridge is poor. No iron and ironing board is disappointing, as is no material in the room to say where I can get an iron. I won't stay again as the room was too old, dirty. musty and warm with little ventilation.

I have been there 6 nights. Only once my room was cleaned. At departure - I was part of a Tui crew pilots - we were harassed to get out of the room by noon. We work on duty time regulations, and we had to leave the room at 14:45. We were litteraly harassed to leave. After a 6 days stay, your people couldn’t give us a 3 hour break? I recommend my co. that we stay at your place NEVER AGAIN.

The Hotel & Staff were very nice the room was clean .The room we were in was a wee bit noisy I think there was a generator or something out side .We had dinner in the restaurant on the Friday night it was lovely & the young man who waited on us was very attentive. Lovely hot breakfast in the morning .I would stay here again .we were given this as an Anniversary gift ,it was lovely.

We were welcomed with a complementary bottle of wine after a quick check in. We had a small but comfortable room. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate and included were toiletries. We had access to tea and coffee .

The hotel room was lovely and it was an extremely good room as we were above the lights in the side street next to the Corinthian and it was nice to see them. The only thing I would complain about was the drilling outside of our door at 9 am on Saturday morning.
