Convenient location for when visiting family. Good quality service with professional and friendly staff who act quickly to solve problems. A very pleasant setting despite being located between two major roads. We'll be back!

The entrance lobby looked grand, but the corridor to the room and the room itself were old, tired, depressing and in need of a lot of care and attention. I had flaky paint, peeling wallpaper, windows that didn't block road noise etc etc. Worst hotel experience I've ever had.

Hotel was nice. Got told I could only have continental breakfast even though I paid for full breakfast. End of the stay I had my Van broken into which isn't great but staff helped with camera footage.

« Freezing cold room, no one answered reception. »

The room we stayed in was freezing, we tried to call down to reception no one answered after 45 minutes of trying we finally had to walk down to reception. The. We was charged £22 for breakfast we didn't eat it took me 3 days to finally speak to someone after having to ring head office

Efficient check in . Room was lovely big and clean. Quiet nights sleep in a comfy bed. Didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on that.

Could not order the burger I wanted so had to go with steak, which was overcooked (I asked for medium and got well done). Cooked breakfast was cold, and when I was checking out the receptionist tried to charge me twice for dinner - I had already paid £18 in advance for a £22 dinner contribution, but was initially charged the £18 plus the full cost of dinner - was delayed on my journey to work through trying to resolve this. Was eventually resolved, but could have done without the delay. On the plus side, the room was very good and the staff were friendly.

Me and my partner stay in this hotel very often, maybe once or twice a month. The location is very convenient for us and we like the building itself. The check in process is very quick and efficient. However, once in the room the shower was very slow letting out trickles of water. The shower wall was full of hair and the curtain in the bedroom was once again torn.

Room was sort of ok Windows dripped all night with condensation prices of drinks were astronomical *£,15.40 for a beer and a glass of wine
