« OK but not great »

Stayed 1 night on B7B basis after arriving back at airport from holiday. Checked in very late (1am) and had to ring for Receptionist who then took a while to sort out our room as it "had not been allocated". Friendly though. Room was very small and VERY hot...hot towel rail in bathroom was on full pelt (and could not be switched off by guests) on what was a hot day/night anyway so room must have been around 30C initially when we arrived. We opened both small windows (and the patio door for about 45 minutes) and just about got the room cool enough to sleep in with no bedclothes all night. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Both bedroom and bathroom in need of some updating but OK for just 1 night. Breakfast was pretty good and staff were pleasant and friendly as was lady on checkout. Public areas of the hotel seemed more recently updated and quite nice. Checked out pool area while we were there and it seemed Ok (didn't use it) and may sway us positively on whether to stay again in the same circumstances.

« Good accommodation as usual. »

It was fine, as usual. The room had a nice view of the trees by the nature reserve. We have been staying here over the last three years and have particularly enjoyed the hotel's location. After a long drive, we have loved being able to walk outside and visit the bird hides and the park.

« Our stay was terrible »

Hi, Me and my girlfriend stayed at the mecure leeds parkway Hotel on the 3rd July 2018. After we checked in we went to the room 415 the floor boards outside the room was dangerous as soon were very loose and the carpet dipped in.When we walked into the room there was a very strong urine smell so we put the bags in the room and noticed that you could order food 24/7 to the room but when we return to the room to order at 21.50 we got told we could only order cold sandwich as the bar staff told us that the hotel hadnt been trained enough to deal with the 24/7 food service, then we had to order from pizza shop 3 miles which was very expensive. Through the night we had to leave the window open because it was so warm and there was wagons outside at 5am making lots of noise. We were very unhappy with our stay. Regards Lee P.

« Awful room, poor food. »

Awful. Allocated room was dirty, smelly and had screws, needle and old clothes on the floor. After a lot of waiting we were allocated a new room. We were given a complimentary dinner, but the food was terrible.

« Good location for Leeds Bradford »

Stayed here as flying out from Leeds Bradford Airport and left car there for a week - everything OK except found dinner menu not as varied as we would have liked. Extremely good service from Lucy on Reception - an excellent ambassador for the hotel.

« Adequate but improvements needed »

Good facilities. Long stay Parking option very convenient. Rooms nice but very hot on night we stayed. No fan or air con made quite an uncomfortable night. Reception staff not very informative. Read online prior to stay that Airport taxis did not require pre booking as reception staff would organise. Not informed at check in that no reception staff would be there at 5 am when we left for the airport. No taxi number left on reception to contact ourselves. A number to call a member of staff was left on the desk however nobody was available to take the call...?? Luckily another guests taxi arrived and he called one for us.

« Staff friendly, room clean pleasant and large only disappointment was breakfast. »

A delightful location, friendly and professional staff. the facilities are very good and the location excellent. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and our only disappointment was the breakfast food. there was plenty of it but it had been left on the hotplate for sometime and was visibly "tired" by the time we ate, though it tasted OK.

Upon arrival was upgraded to a more airy twin room with garden view due to the hot weather. The room was great and balcony much appreciated for a cool breeze. The lady on reception was extremely helpful and accommodating. Only downside to stay was the room was an adjoining room and the adjoining door was not well insulated/soundproofed - which seems such a shame for an otherwise fab room.

After the awful hassle of booking the hotel we arrived and the decor and facilities were slightly dated but staff were good and free lollies as it was a hot day. Room was big but dated with no air con. Pool was OK but was could do with good clean.

« a good hotel for a short stopover »

A lively hotel on Fri/Sat, lots of weekend guests and two school proms. Poor service in restaurant on the Sunday evening. No drawers in our room, shower not working correctly-water temp not able to be adjusted and scalding hot. Receptionist did a temp repair. The bath was difficult for someone elderly to climb into, the grap rails could be better pkaced.
