Booked A second room at £95 per night with wedding discount only to find that had I booked on the Friday night the room would have been only £60 on Booking.com. I really feel that the hotel takes advantage of the wedding parties. Other than that all was good with Simon being very at tentative and professional.

Quite to the contrary we provide a 25% discount to wedding bookings from the best available rate. Our rates vary day to day and overtime for a particular date will change too - typically as we get closer to a certain date the rate increases. Loved the hotel and staff. The room was ok and we brought our dog as well. Loved the country park at the back. It all looks a bit tired though but on the whole it was what we expected.

The bedroom was shabby and the bathroom was grubby, the shower was nearly cold both mornings and the water pressure was poor. The bar and restaurant service was slow, we waited ages for our meal and when it arrived the food was just edible, the portion sizes (four button mushrooms with the dried up, tough pork cutlet) were derisory, luckily there was a very good Italian restaurant a mile away.

One ordered dinner didn't come out as described brie was replaced with sausage - the person who had dinner wouldn't say. There was 25mins before breakfast closed and the waitress with glasses on Sunday morning took his half full plate from under him. When I asked him is he finished with that she gave me a dirty look (how rude of me) so he then went up to get another breakfast to finish. Apparently she kept giving me dirty looks for the duration. I informed reception we had a great stay and of this. Felt like nothing was done but whatever. Our weekly custom and his membership with mecure is now terminated. Over all experience excellent everyone else went over and above and extremely friendly. It only wasn't great for a dining experience. As we want a whole package weekly we will look at another provider.

The staff were friendly and accepting of our needs during our stay. While we didn't spend much of the evening of our stay at the hotel, the staff were understanding and helpful when needed while remaining unintrusive. The facilities were all clean and in full working order

Hotel fine but Studio wing very noisy. Hotel bedroom doors are designed to close 'automatically' but the noise of slamming door at night and in the morning was significant - as were things like toilets being flushed etc.

Chose for the convenience and parking inclusion for the airport. Enjoyed a lovely pizza and bar area and reception are fine. Room was really substandard. Stood on a towel to get dressed and the receptionist actually ran to check the room before handing us they key. Think she went to open a window, Fusty. dated and not impressed.

How you can charge £7 for 1 pint and a half of Diet Coke I have no idea. Never been anywhere like it. Definitely won't be back. Absolutely shocking and a total rip off.

We booked this break from Lastminute.com and it was advertised as a spa break; it definitely wasn’t that. The hotel had leisure facilities but I would say that I was more relaxed at my local council run pool. The whole leisure part of the hotel is extremely run down and not maintained well. I would definitely not recommend it if you, like me, have a relaxing spa in mind. The room on the whole was clean and comfortable and we were provided with nice toiletries and tea facilities. Again though, certain aspects need to be maintained (our toilet didn’t flush). We also had a room which we think was either above the kitchen or main entrance and could hear music, even when we woke early in the morning (definitely not relaxing). Our ‘spa’ break was advertised as 3 courses. This was false advertising! Each of us were given £22 allowance which didn’t quite cover 2 courses let alone 3. We both burgers which were ok and the staff who waited on us were lovely. Breakfast was nice and we couldn’t really fault that part of the stay.

Stayed at the hotel as we attended a wedding The only issue was we couldn't get in our rooms until after 2pm and the wedding was at 11am had to check 3 times before we could book in at 5.00pm.

We arrived early and were pleased to find our room was ready. The room itself was perfect - a good size and a nice view of the countryside. The leisure facilities are good although more padlocks for the lockers would be useful.

The hotel in general smelt damp and was incredibly dated There was a half drank bottle of water in our room and when I informed reception to ask for another one they made me follow the guy to the bar to get another one and did not apologise. I got a drink at the bar after checking in and the lady who served me was rude and very unfriendly and then proceeded to talk loudly to the other staff about her night out The receptionist was not every welcoming or helpful or apologetic when my card did not work We asked for a 4am wake up call which never happened and had booked a taxi for 4.45am which when I checked at 4.15am via a call to reception I was told it was booked for 5am! This would have made us late for our flight had I not checked All the staff were unfriendly, unwelcoming and made the whole experience uncomfortable for us. Would not recommend anyone to stay here and it is certainly not worth the cost we paid. Very unprofessional hotel
