The location, staff, and car park are excellent. The cleanliness of the room carpets, shower facility, and tea / coffee facilities are below standard. The kettle is adequate but cheap. Noisy disco music impacted on my guest in another room. On my last stay the restaurant food was poor and drab. The bar area is dated and lacklustre. Lighting poor outside main door. You could illuminate the fountain outside the entrance. Do you have mystery guests?

The room was clean and generic, view of a tree near the car park. It was difficult getting served at the bar as the colleagues seemed to be doing multiple tasks. At the evening meal we were told that the three course evening meal that we had Pre paid for was an arbitrator sum and we’d have to pay for anything over the £22.00 we had paid. On receiving the invoice for the two night stop over there had been a mix up with other people’s drinks being put on our bill. The gentleman on the desk sorted it out but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

A two night stay with my grandson as a treat for him, prior to going back to school after the summer holidays. We stayed in a family room which provided loads of space for my grandson to play before and after we visited attractions in the area. We enjoyed the breakfast and the grounds around the hotel. The experience was especially enhanced by the hotel staff who were so friendly and helpful. I would love to book a stay for next year but the family room is not normally bookable for one adult and one child. Perhaps it may become bookable if vacancies are available nearer the time.

stayed 2 of my 3 nights in a "privilege" room. The living room was huge and could have been great but rthere was so little furniture just looked empty. Not even a wardorbe just same tiny unit as in Standard rooms. Bathroom not renovated as per the living room throw back to the seventies with v rough grouting broken tiles, dangerously loose toilet seat !!! shower screen to short - water on floor slippery. Put food in fridge to have for breakfast it froze it absolutley solid making it inedible so had to go out and buy more the next morning. No apology offered or credit for Breakfast the next day. Ironed dress the iron leaked water all over and stained. Issues brought to the attention of reception none resolved or even looked at. The standard room I moved to on the 3rd night the shower dial ( TMV) broken and consequently couldn't turn it fully to control water temperature -scalding hot.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel which was comfortable and in an ideal spot for my needs.(My husband was in the hospital a mile away) The staff were very friendly and helpful and the gardens were an enjoyable area to relax in.

I was pleased to see that my room had been the subject of a recent refurbishment. Except that there were a number of issues with cleanliness. A large stain on the net curtain, dark spots on the dressing table - which I cleaned easily, black staining in the grout of the bathroom tiles. What's disappointing is that I assume the hotel has had a lot of money spent on it and yet the basics still are not covered. I didn't complain to staff because it's quite tedious always having to point out small defects which simply should not be present.

Quite impressed on arrival - downstairs area looked nice. Unfortunately not impressed with our room - the toilet flush (built into the wall) was broken and you had to flush repeatedly for around 20 times to get the toilet to actually flush. The bath felt unsafe, it creaked and wobbled when standing in it to get showered. Insufficient storage space - just one very small rail behind a mirror. Also felt the breakfast was poor quality / value for money. Much better breakfast experience at Premier Inn Hotels.

Room was very comfortable and staff at reception very helpful. Breakfast service was ok....for price would have liked options for eggs (only fried available). Only complaint was the price of drinks. I felt £10 for a large glass of wine was very pricey, even for hotels.

A nice clean hotel. Nice rooms Nice restaurant. Nice bar (hardly ever manned and members of our group had to inform reception a number of times that we were waiting to be served) On checkout, reception charged me their standard rate for 2 night even though I had a confirmation email from June paying at an advanced pre pay rate. This was £18.50 difference. After joining the queue to explain, the above amount was refunded 2 days later. On checking my bank account the day after return I could see that the hotel had charged me £81 on 31.8.19 even though I had not spent any money in the hotel that day. After enquiring with a very friendly and professional lady called Corrina. She explained that I'd been chatged a 1 night no show for the 2nd room that I had booked. In June I booked my room. Paid for my room and received an email and confirmation reference number. I did not book 2 rooms and never had any evidence of this from the hotel. I was informed that this had been an admin error at central booking office when I booked. However I did not not use this office. I booked direct with the hotel I was told that this amout would be refunded in a number of days so I will wait and see. Our group consisted of 4 roons and next year we need 5 but are discussing collectively about maybe a central Beverley stay for 2 nights instead because of the mess up this year.

Room was not ready on arrival. Staff seemed almost inconvenienced to have to help us, the only friendly person was the lady who bought up our room service and the lady at the bar who took our order. When we called for room service, I tried repeatedly with no luck, called reception who again seemed inconvenienced and passed me to the bar who tried passing me back to reception! The rooms need serious updating including much needed soundproofing! The people next door were, lets say very active and vocal!!! All afternoon, evening and the next morning...not what we needed our children hearing on a near constant basis! We actually left early as we could not tolerate it any more. The slamming of doors in the corridor, the shouting in the corridors and the music late into the night make a decent nights rest impossible. We had the hotel to get a good nights rest before a karate competition the next day and none of us slept well. It actually made me miss the peace and quiet of a budget hotel like premier inn!

As stated as above, due to the excessive music at wedding function was forced to contact the reception. The room is in need of decoration and refit, carpets stained, bathroom sealant extremely poor, as was the grout between the bath tiles.
