Hi we had our daughters wedding there we stayed for two nights and we couldn’t ask for anything more they really looked after us and the wedding day went fantastic we couldn’t of ask for anything else the wedding planner was absolutely fantastic very professional in everything she did the staff were very professional and they really looked after us if we had a question they helped us with it there was nothing to much for them which made the day go smoothly thank you and please pass our many thanks to all your lovely and friendly staff Kind regards mr I B.

Hotel over charged us for “restaurant” services, although it was included within our stay.... Room was extremely expensive for what was offered... mediocre service.... was not worth the money and would certainly NOT recommend staying at this hotel again. Minimal in room amenities, certainly not equipped for two.

Hotel is OK, a little tired in places. Staff very nice. I saw a mouse in my room late at night, which i'm not impressed with.

Nice hotel, poor service and bathroom

Reception and bar were nice, as was our room. However shower did not work, bathroom in need of updating asap. We were almost charged double for brekfast and staff on reception were not friendly atall. Barely a thankyou or goodbye when checking out. Breakfast was expensive considering hardly anything left at 9am! We asked and by the time more was brought out we had enough and went to check out. I was charged £2.90 for a water at night time despite the person after me being charged £1. And yes I did mention they were £1 at the reception but nobody would serve us there as bar busy.

Room was clean and to a good standard bathroom needs attention poor decor 1980s look dirty grout chipped bath, our room was above the wedding venue the music was good pity we weren't a guest,pool did not open till eight which interfered with breakfast and was open to the public.

We recently stayed at the Grange in Willerby due to attending a surprise birthday party. It was much cheaper to book on line than through the hotel, even with the party discount! Room was very nice and a large bed (supposedly a double). Booked breakfast on checkin. Left my charge in the room and rang them. It was left at reception for me to pick up as we live locally! When I went to pick it up I was told I still had to pay for breakfast! I told the guy that I had paid by my card when we checked in the night before! He then went to a filing cabinet and produced a sheet if paper and said "oh, yeah, our mistake." If I had sent my partner to pick up the charger he would have probably paid again! That was the only problem I had! Otherwise an all round good stay!

Nice staff, but hotel is old and tired and needs updating and deep cleaning

Two night stay. Staff were pleasant. Room linen was clean. Lots clearly needed updating - tiles in bathroom were broken, grouting needed re-dooing, toilet was difficult to flush and carpet worn. Main light fitting was full of dead flies, cobwebs on the wall, standard lamp was grubby.

Room was small but the bathroom was especially tiny with no counter space. Room was dirty, hair stuck on walls of bathroom. Shower did not work properly, took 10 mins for warm water to come through. Bath taps did not work at all! Reception area and bar were nice so surprised to see the poor quality of the rooms.

I wasn't in the hotel for very long apart from overnight. The hotel room was nice, clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was very tired and dated. The bar was also tired looking and there was a big hole in the ceiling behind my seat where rain water was dripping down onto the carpet and over a speaker which can't have been very safe.

Check in was welcoming and efficient. The room was quiet and comfortable and everything I needed. Bar service was ok. Breakfast buffet was very good. The room for the devils kitchen was comfortable and made for good entertainment and an overall good stay and experience.

Comfortable room as usual and the one we like and requested. Clean and tidy and a welcome at reception. Breakfast was comprehensive and lovely. Only thig was the Pizza we had was supposed to have choritzo or peperoni and had no flavour.

I was up to visit some relatives who didn't have room to put me up! The hotel was absolutely great as it was only a few minutes away from their house. The breakfast was good and set me up for the day. The room was clean and spacious and I did enjoy my stay.

Without doubt the worst afternoon tea we have ever had! Come straight out of the fridge - the plates were ice cold as was all the sandwiches & cakes. Everything was Totally dried up especially the sandwiches & scones. Nobody came to offer more tea / coffee or check if everything was ok. In short nobody cared. Checked in @2 if the afternoon and outside the lift it was full of dirty breakfast trays! Totally unacceptable. Room was nice , good quality beds. The most stingy hospitality tray I’ve ever seen. No biscuits & 1 tea bag! I venting meal was just ok , one poor lad run ragged in the restaurant & 3 things sold out. Also no English mustard!! How can a kitchen not have any mustard ?? Enjoyed our food but very poor choice. The jacuzzi & pool we only stayed in 15/20 mins when planned to spend a few hours in there however was like sitting in a bath of bleach! Our eyes were burning & others saying the same. Bad nights sleep as doors seemed to banging all night ? Maybe some soft close door hinges need fitting? Lady who checked us out Sunday morning was friendly & cheerful.

Loose electrical socket, earth wire sticking up from bathroom floor, toilet seat loose and toilet flusher loose. Tears and cloth missing on seats in the bar area.
