Room ok but noise from two wedding events below us was very loud. Wish we had been informed, when booking, of the spa facilities. We hadn't looked up.the hotel, it had been a choice given to us. Maybe something should come out on the email confirmations.

The hotel was lovely plenty of parking with convenience of local motorway and town centre 10 minutes or less away. Hotel check in was quick polite and friedly. The hotel room was spacious but was let down slightly by the old fashioned bath tub and shower heads that don't move. Small issue nothing big. Lovely grounds to the rear with seating outdoors. Happy to return

Check-in was prompt. Room was of an acceptable standard, although there were some housekeeping issues: Towel rail hanging off the wall, soap dish not attached, bed not made up properly (sheets all ruffled underneath)

I booked on behalf of 3 colleagues who all expressed a negative experience with the food.

We had a pleasant stay. Access to the pool and facilities was good, however the pool did close early on a sunday But the staff were very accommodating the next morning when we used the pool.

Unfortunately I can only say our stay was satisfactory as I was very concerned about the security and cleanliness in your hotel. I have stayed at a number of different hotels in the past and all have had a safe or security box in the room for valuables, I found it very disappointing yours did not. I was also very concerned when I used the swimming pool as there were no locker keys or padlocks left to be used, apparently they were all in use despite there being very few people using the facilities. Our valuables , including our room passes had to be left unsecured in the changing rooms and details of our room number etc easily accessible on the swimming pool reception. I found this very worrying. I was also concerned with the damage to the step in to the swimming pool, the step was extremely slippery which resulted in me sustaining a nasty bruise to my leg. The bedroom was also not as clean as I would have expected, maybe because the room was not ready when we arrived at 2 o'clock so the job was rushed? ( I also had to remake the bed as the bed protector and sheets were not covering the mattress ) You will appreciate I did not want to cause a fuss at the time as we were there for a funeral and this would only have caused upset at a very delicate time. I do feel however that you should be made aware of these facts.

Lovely family room and beautiful setting! However, we were charged different amounts for the same round of drinks, three times. Only one bar tender on, very busy, £2.80 for half a coke! £2.50 for a fruit shoot drink. Astronomical!!!

At first reception staff were a little frosty on arrival at 2pm and the rooms weren’t quite ready. However after explaining that we were staying for a funeral, staff were very accommodating and we had a very pleasant stay.

Not great, severe noise disturbance on one night till 0115, due to two events being held in the hotel. Neither of which were disclosed when booking.

It was a perfect base for attending a patient in castle hill hospital. Reasonable breakfast each morning, clean welcoming room to come back to at night along with a leisure pool with great opening hours. Check in was stressful as I had booked 2 rooms and 2 £22 dinners but was told we only had one dinner. After some confusion the second meal was discovered but the fact that I had been right was not acknowledged and there was no apology for the error. We went into the spa to use the pool but there was no-one around to give locker keys the whole time we were there dinner was pleasant and the service very good but it turns out that the "3 course meal for £22" is misleading. I thought it was some sort of offer but it is just frontloading £22 towards your spend in the restaurant. You cannot get a 3 course meal for £22! Another issue was the state of the bathroom - old fashioned and tired for a 4 * hotel and I could hear the guest next door using the toilet, but the thing which took my breath away was when I reached for a tissue from the tissue box holder and pulled out a length of toilet paper!!

Booked a twin room for 2 with a dog on touring holiday so a good amount of luggage. Checked into room 141 which is a long way from main reception and not easy with a dog in tow. All staff members were excellent in ever way, friendly but professional and very efficient. I would rate all staff a 10. We ate in hotel, a caesar salad and pasta. Both dishes were poor, the pasta in pasta in particular was bland in flavour. It was also very watery despite being a carbonar. Most of this dish was left. No member of staff asked if the order was OK, if fact no one came back and spoke to us at all even to ask if we wanted pudding. The following morning I checked out all very efficiently but wasn't asked how our stay had been.

Overall good just not happy that whilst there was a hairdryer in the room there was no mirror So my wife didn’t do her hair and used tiny shelf in bathroom to put the make up on Breakfast ok but scrambled eggs were pretty grim and we left them
