The only problem I had was, I have to sleep with the window open and, because my room was road facing the traffic noise kept me awake.

Room, reception, part night great, however . 2 guests on party night served food with nuts when stipulated had nut allergy and 1 guest served food with gluten when should be gluten free and he had to go home as it made him Ill.

Stayed one night after a wedding reception.Clean room. However I had great difficulty booking the rooms. It took FOUR phone calls all in one morning to book three rooms. I was told two different prices, £121 per room then £75 per room also twice that rooms where not available to wedding guests. I, Teresa F. booked and paid £225 for three rooms and was told I would receive three emails with the booking references, in the names of the other guests I had booked for, IE. myself, Mr Bryan H. and Sandra Brooks. I had to e-mail and request these, as I did not receive the e-mails. I told the bride and groom of my problems booking rooms so they could warn any other guests who were planning booking a room. She told me I had been over charged,as she had been advised by the wedding coordinator, the room charge was £55. After the bride spoke again to the wedding coordinator, I had a £30 refund put on my credit card. Therefore I paid £65 per room. Your booking staff should be able to check a wedding reception is booked, quote a price for a room, and confirm the availability of a room for the booked wedding reception at the correct price. I am gluten free. I informed staff on booking and on arrival at hotel. I was given two gluten free sandwiches at the wedding buffet. Breakfast....... I told the waitress I was Gluten Free and asked if there was any other food, ie gluten free bread or sausage, The waitress said she would go and try to find out. I received two slices of warm crusty bread, couldn't really call it toast.

Good evening, I recently returned from what was planned to be a relaxing break that was booked via a red letters day voucher.. To say I was disappointed is an understatement, the hotel was dirty, smelly and not very welcoming. The hotel was listed as a beautiful Georgian house. When in fact it was a holiday inn attached to a Georgian building which was used only for a restaurant.. On arrival to the room there were damp patches on the ceiling, a trip hazard where the carpet was baggy, the 4 post bed was not safe and free moving and the room was very dirty with layers of dust on the bed frame.. I am far from happy with my stay and I have attached some photos and videos for you to take Ito consideration.

Nice Hotel but too hot inside as the heating must have been up high. Had trouble sleeping because of a wedding party which finished at 1.30 am.

« Bit chilly and poor breakfast »

Nice room, too many beds for the space - one double and two singles but you couldn't get into one of the singles so pretty pointless. Also couldn't get to curtains without climbing on the extra bed. At breakfast there was very little there - most hot food had almost run out and no pastries until I asked. And I was not late - 7.45 am. Clean and comfortable though.

Friendly helpful staff. We received a complimentary upgrade to a stylishly refurbished suite. Plenty of free on site parking. Very competitively priced. A few signs of wear and tear in some communal areas but generally very good. We enjoyed a pleasant meal in the restaurant . We will return if was come back to the area.

Hotel was fine, room was comfortable - bathroom a bit dated. Staff were helpful. Leisure facilities and team were great. Food was disappointing - cool at times and a bit repetitive if staying all week.

Hospitable and friendly. Room small but decent, lacked an armchair, bed firm but with double quilt tucked in like a papoose! Very inconvenient. Separate single duvets would be much better. The loo seat was loose and would not stay up when raised, consequently it needed to be held there when peeing, not very hygenic! Wash hands thoroughly when finished. Dinner reasonable. Breakfast, plenty of choice and well presented, service discreet and very effective. Evening reception delightful, pleasant locale, good service but quality of food disappointing. Nevertheless overall a really enjoyable experience.

As always I am impressed by all the staff. The reception staff are efficient , helpful and friendly. The bar staff are also warm in their interactions and the breakfast staff are great. This is a great location for the work I come down to do and the price I get is greatly appreciated. If I was paying the full rate I would be very disappointed by some of the fabric and decor of the building.Hiwevee I wish to stress that the rooms are immaculate, the beds comfy and the breakfast is first class. The hotel is far too hot but otherwise comfortable and welcoming.

I stay in a lot of hotels in the week, i always rate them as would i come onma weekend with the Mrs and im.sorry to say i wouldnt. It is a very impersonal hotel, maybe because nobody was about in the bar area but i ate there three nights, the food was very expensive for what it was and one night i had fish and chips, the fish was vile and the chips were few and the price of it was crackers for what it was. The shepherds pie wasnt much better very small portion and the veg was non existent it looked like the dregs left in the pan. The staff were friendly and receptionists were welcoming but im sorry i would not stay again.

Surprisingly good. I say this because I wouldn't have known the hotel existed unless introduced to it by a friend who knows the area well. No complaints. Swimming pool was brilliant and the room clean and comfortable.
