Lovely reception area. Hotel room was clean but bathroom was required updating- bath and floor edging had ingrained mould and looked unclean. Bed was uncomfortable. Family room was located next to a large party, which we queried upon arrival if it noise would be a problem (near main reception) and was told we wouldn’t hear anything. Despite raising with reception at night the noise shook through our room until the early hours. With two small children this was not acceptable. Breakfast was sub-standard quality, lacked variety (fresh fruit) and kept running out of basic items (cups, tea sooons, butter). For the money I would not return to this hotel. Very disappointed.

I had a lovely time and staff were very accommodating and friendly and I’d definitely consider staying again. However I was disappointed to note on check-out that room service came with an additional £5 tray fee which wasn’t very clear on the room service menu and felt a little like a surprise charge. It makes me reluctant to order room service at future stays, especially given it’s so easy these days to order takeaway or food to be delivered by Deliveroo or Uber eats.

Was here for my sisters wedding on the 9th March, we stayed two nights and everything was brill. Ashley on reception was so lovely and helpful throughout the entire stay, as was Marie. The rooms were clean and the wedding venue was stunning! Breakfast and the wedding meal were tasty, everything hot and the servers were attentive. My only issue was the noise from the hotel rooms itself, the doors slam rather loudly and this kept me and my children awake unfortunately.

My room was nice, however attention to detail needed - both kettle and coffee machine had water in them from previous guest and both need descaling. On arrival, no information was provided about the leisure facilities or breakfast/restaurant. Breakfast was served from 07.00, yet on arrival into the breakfast room at 07.00 no hot food was yet available.

Stayed for work. Hotel location was fine. Hotel just very dated. Room very tired. Carpet stained. Toilet leaked. Room poorly maintained e.g. wall lights coming away etc.

I stayed at the mecure Georgian house last weekend for my wedding. The hotel staff were excellent. Anything I needed they sorted for me. Nothing was too much to ask. Including a rail brought to the room because there was no where to hang the dress, they even cleaned it down and re tapped the rusty areas of the rail so my dress was kept clean. Also a single straw was brought to my room because I didn’t want to ruin my lipstick. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Amazing staff, lovely rooms and in a good location of Bolton.

The hotel was average, fairly expensive for dated, small rooms, with old style bathroom suites. Adequate cleaning, terrible iron. Biggest down fall was the breakfast - terrible. Cancelled it for the second day as it was so awful.

Very easy used our Tesco vouchers so saved 90 pound. We had the family room very spacious and beds were comfortable couldn't ask for more. Maybe include hot chocolate and biscuits that's would be a bonus

The room was spacious and clean, snacks were good. Everything you would need . However in the room, there was no indication of breakfast times or time closure of the restaurant. Also no mention in the room of the fitness centre or swimming pool, opening times etc. Bolton is a wonderful place with lots of history and beauty spots, and amazing scenery and tiny villages. It's the only hotel I have stayed in that lacked these things. I was born in Bolton, so I was ok . But come on Accor ,,, get it together ,,please

Have been staying over several years. Staff are always extremely helpful and friendly. Bathrooms feeling a bit tired and water pressure is bad. Cooked breakfasts have deteriorated in quality.
