The hotel is a lovely hotel with nice rooms. The staff couldn’t do more for you and were so pleasant and friendly. The drinks at the bar was extortionate and the food was very poor

The hotel is lovely. It was very clean and we had fresh towels and bedding every day. Unfortunately the heat in the hotel was at times unbearable. The training room had no windows or natural light which led to daily headaches and chips and sandwiches for lunch every day became very unappetizing. The staff were very friendly and always willing to go out of there way to help you, especially Adam who always seemed to be working very hard and was always their with a friendly face. The price of alcohol was extortionate! Very unreasonable prices for food and refreshments. The pool and Jacuzzi were a nice treat, however it is very dated and could do with some remodelling.

Hotel is nice enough when you arrive. Check-in was ok. However, there are no lifts and the hotel is a maize of stairs and the room numbering is very odd. My room had a very dirty and broken skylight window. The mirror in the bathroom was also broken. I ate the the bar, the menu was limited and expensive. It took a long time for my food to arrive and no cutlery was brought with it. Makes the hotel feel dated and tired.

My friend and I booked Georgian House hotel at the last minute and were both very happy with our stay. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Didn't have breakfast.

Reception, all staff and room good but food in bar awful. I had to wait over an hour for a caesar salad after the penne abbariata I ordered was so hot I could not eat it. Also restaurant overcrowded with Thomas Cook trainees - we were advised to get in early but there was no room.

Stay was generally ok. Room we had on this visit was very noisy as close to road. Cost this time was £30.00 extra per room per night compared to our last stay only 3 months ago.

Not very impressed with my stay this time

Not impressed at all with being told I could eat in the restaurant and then told you will have to wait for a hour and half. Then once seated ordered my starter and had to wait another 40minutes for it to arrive ( there was only myself and one other in the restaurant. Food arrived eventually starter was so so, main meal only warm and forever had to wait for staff when I could find one to get a drink

Rowdy football team spoils sleep.

Bedroom next to mine was part central for 4-6 young football players. I had an important presentation to give the following day & so asked the manager to intervene. This he did, the noise stopped for 10 glorious minutes & then started up again. I left it a further half hour thinking I might be able to get to sleep anyway.... no such look with the whoops & general partying....... So I called the manager & asked for him to have a further chat with them. This time mentioning that I would have to call the police if they didn’t stop causing a public nuisance. The manager returned & this time the room emptied. However, 15 minutes later they were all back! Eventually even footballers have to sleep. I got a couple of hours, up at 6 & off just after 7. Not the restful nights sleep I was hoping for & to add insult to injury, when I mentioned this at check out & said that I couldn’t face breakfast, they charged me for it anyway....! For information I’m a Silver Accor member to boot.....

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel but feel I have to mention the bathroom in Room 773. It really is in dire need of refurbishment!! So this was a great disappointment to us. We didn't complain as we are not in the habit of doing so but if we had been staying any longer we would have reported it.
