Front counter was helpful and courteous. Checked in at about 1230am and can see that the counter staff was trying to be fast so we can rest. Breakfast selection can be improved. Service staff were also friendly and helpful.

« executive room package not up to standards »

Disappointe. Executive club was not ready for evening cocktails and canapes which was published in the room sale description. I went to executive club on my last day stay and thought I had time before dinner so I pop up but was told that the executive club is not ready for evening cocktails OR happy hour sad there was food and beverage available but was assured by executive club staff that the happy hour would be at the lobby lounge. However when I went to lobby lounge the staff there was unaware and after some clarification they gave an afternoon tea set. When I requested for a refillof coffee they actually said it was chargeable. I end up having to use a drink coupon to exchange for it. This is totally ridiculous. You can see from my records I have many stays with Accor Pullman and Novotel or Mercure all are executive rooms. This is not the standard O would expect. One of the night I was back in room after 11pm, there was a box labelled Macaroon on my bedside table but when I opened it was just cookies. I an very surprised your staff would use such boxes. Not just that but the cookies were very strong stench of milk powder. The did not use butter margarine but milk powder instead and the cookies just tasted awful. I an sorry but I have to say this.

« Poor breakfast and slow response »

I am Accorplus member and booked Pullman Guiyang through the website of Accor. I have been stayed this hotel a few times in recent six months. The latest stay was not good experience for three reasons. 1) the breakfast in Prince Hotel (Pullman Break dining room was in renovation and the breakfast was arranged in Prince Hotel) was inferior to what I had in Pullman before, and I think that I have been over charged and that Pullman Guiyang should refund me part of fee charged for the breakfast. 2) I requested for an empty plate for my fruit from the reception, and it took almost an hour for the plate delivered to my room, reason being that the request was forgot. 3) A staff who did my check-in, in my opinion, was not properly trained, seeming not been enthusiastic about her job and a bit 'cold-face' to me.

« Conveniently located 5* Hotel in the Heart of Guiyang »

We arrived Guiyang past midnight. The midnight staff were not very proficient in English. We booked 2 rooms. One of the two rooms felt spooky. Room 2502 seemed to have a paranormal presence in the luggage room and in one nook where the writing table was. 3 out of our 6 family members felt eerie. Fortunately, upon our request to change our room, the check-in staff, clueless about our reason for changing the room, obliged to our request & quickly changed our room 2502 to room 2503 which felt much, much better.

i phoned 2 times and emailed reception 4 times to get a transfer from airport to hotel. each time reception said they would send me an email. They did not send an email or provide a transfer.

The hotel is close to Guiyang train station, within walking distance. I stayed on the 27th floor, which offers a great view of the city and surrounding mountains. Staffs are friendly.

Everything is fine, and they give me update the room level, but for the happy hour, the food is limited and drink of wine almost none, actually, I don't understand for this situation, so some a little bit shame!

This is the second time I stayed at an Accor hotel in China. I am not sure whether it is the culture of not having bell boy helping with luggage. There is no one showing the direction to the room like other 5 star hotel I stayed. My platinum membership was not recognized . No information about the benefit was told. Been to the executive lounge, at first was told not allowed to go in since I was not on the executive floor, after some negotiation I was allowed to use the service there.

Check-in was fast and easy. Reception staff were polite and helpful. Room was comfy, clean and roomy. Breakfast, although there were varieties, it cannot be considered international. The dishes were mainly Chinese.

My family impressed the comfortable situation and very kind service, particularly from the reception and the canteen for breakfast. Here I praise Mr. Mert, a waiter at the reception who gave us the nice service on July 1 and Collin, a waiter at the coffee canteen( 5th floor)who served us for the bread July1 night. We will come back here again for the next vacation.

Hotel has no life! Front desk and Barolo cafe service hospitality needs to be improved. Only the executive lounge staff displayed proper hospitality befitting of a supposedly 5 star hotel. Despite knowing that the sink in the room was not flowing properly, no one bothered to fix it. I was assigned the same room twice on 20th and 23rd June. Also the room air conditioner was not able to bring the temp below 24.5 deg C and staff merely passed it off as normal and claimed that it has been checked. After my insistence, they finally managed to rectify it.

The hotel is located in very good surrounding, near a big shopping mall with lot's of restaurants. All sightseeing spots are easy to reach. Room is really spacey and in top condition. Check in was fast and efiicient, but I didn't get the voucher for a free drink for my Platinum Membership status. Internet is outstandig fast and really easy to log in w/o any enerving registration! Less good was airport pick up booking. Had sent a mail to the hotel some days prior arrival. Never get an answer. My chinese friend called and fixed it. Upon arrival there was a car and it worked. On childrens day I wanted to stay in the hotel for buffet dinner. At 07.20h p.m. it was very crowdy and noisy and restaurant reception staff recomended to return after 08.00h p.m. So I did, but then they let me wait outside and dicussed anything. Finally the receptionist brought me to my table - five or six were free, so I didn't understand why to let me wait. Few minutes after I started my dinna they began to remove tables from the room and to make necessary arrangements after kid's party. Why the didn't wai till all guests were out with such? Upon check out to leave the hotel, I had to see that they invoiced pre-payment again. Luckily I had the booking confirmation with me and they started to double check. After some long minutes they found my down payment and made revised invoice. Was the first time in all the years which I am with Accor Hotels, so I do not think it's a system error. But maybe anybody has made any "handwork" which better should not be done. Anyway got the right price but as I travel since more than 20 yrs thru China I really can imagine what have had happen if I din't have this confirmation with me. Accor should double check their procedure. Conclusion: Some space to improve, but my stay was not spoiled at all.
